I woke up and immediately winced. I felt my leg under the sheet, noticing I was only in underwear. I touched the spot that I had moved, and nearly screamed in pain.

" Shit, shit, SHIT " I said aloud, then looked up to see him coming towards me. The blackbird.

" What'd you do, brat? " he spat at me.

" I woke up? " I said, as jerk-ish as I could.

" Well... Let me fix it then " he said, but I stopped him.

" W-wait! " I yelped

" What? " he asked impatiently

" I.... I'm not wearing any pants..." I said shyly.

" I know, how was I supposed to get the bandages on the first time? " he said in a steely voice.

I blushed at this. Wait... THAT MEANS HE'S SEEN MY UNDERWEAR?!

He threw the blanket off me, and picked me up, carefully, making sure not the hurt me to much. I cried out in
pain, and made an odd noise only to be described as painful to the ear.

~Le few min later~

He sat me down on a medical bed, unwrapping the bandage over my upper thigh. I nearly gag at my leg. Dried up blood sat around it, caked on heavily, and that's when I noticed the cast on my other leg. My thigh has a gash about an inch deep, and I could see a little bit of muscle

" I'm going to cut off circulation, ok? " the guy said as he tied a red bandana around the area of my hip.

" Alright..."

He waited about five minutes, then started to clean the wound. It was a gory sight. And I don't mean the kind you hear about... It was worse. The muscle started to contract at contact. Blood dripped out as this strange man who saved me applied pressure to it. He wrapped it in clean bandages, and picked me up again.

" ... Who are you? " I asked

" I'm the corporal "  he replied quietly .

" I meant your name"

" I know "

"  ... "

" What's your name? If I know yours, maybe I'll tell you mine "

" ... Y/n...Y/n Debrossia...." I remarked quietly

" Mmhmm... I'm Levi Ackerman "

" Ok... What do I call you then? "
He thought for a moment.

" Either Corporal, or Levi. Just not Heichou"

" Why would I call you that? " I asked, curiosity spilled out more and more.

" Too many last words have been wasted on it. " he said, Gray eyes emotionless.

" May I ask, why did you save me? My life couldn't be more important than... Say the king? "

" Tch , the king is a pig. He doesn't deserve my time, none the less the Survey Corp's time. " he said, a tint of hate edged off the words.

" That still doesn't answer my question, but alright, seeing as you and my family see the same of him... Or... Did..." I said.  He looked at me, and I could tell I might start crying...

" Isabel...My sweet sister " I said in a hushed voice, which I received a curious glance from Levi

" Isabel? "

I nodded slightly

" I had a friend named Isabel... Heh... But, she got killed by thugs. " he admitted to me.

" Oh... Well... "

" Thanks. " he said

" Huh? For what? " I asked

" For not saying anything sentimental, like ' I'm sorry for your lost ' I hate it when people do that" he said

" I do too... " My eyes began to feel heavy

" Damn, those pain relievers worked fast " he remarked " It'll help, but you're going to be sleepy, might even fall asleep "

I nodded and fell asleep

" Good night, Y/n "
