The world was in a blur of colors. I open my eyes barely only to find the hot bright afternoon sun on my face. I was sat up against a tree, a survey corps cape draped over my body. I rub my head only to feel a thick bandage tightly wrapped around my forehead. I blink a couple times and sigh. Maybe it was all a  dream. I hear the sound of feet approaching. I quickly stand up. The figure approaches, a bundle of firewood in his hands. Then the wind blows away the bangs from his face. It's Eren. The world slows down. I can't move. He's alive. Eren says nothing. My legs are unstable. I feel weak. Eren walks closer. "I know that it's hard to believe that I'm still alive bu-" I begin to cry and pull him into a hug. Eren hugs me back. I cry harder and grip him tighter. "I'm so sorry" I sob. "I should have helped you". Eren shakes his head as we part from our hug.  "Don't blame yourself". I feel nothing but guilt right now. "H-h-ow are you still a-alive?" I choke. Eren is silent. I notice a small bag against the tree. In it were 7 cylinders of pills, a glass bottle with dark yellow liquid in it, and a small pack of pain killers. My eyes widen. I haven't ever seen Eren with so much stuff like this. "Eren....what's all that" I ask, pointing at the bag. Eren lunges over and zipped it up. "Nothing Armin" Eren coughs. I shake my head in disbelief. Eren pulls away from the subject. "What were you doing out here?" Eren asks. I frown. "EREN, WHAT'S GOING ON?" I growl. "Armin answer my question" Eren states calmly.  I grab his shirt and tug him in. "I'M WORRY about you" I say holding back tears. "WHAT......HAPPENED?". Eren is silent. I see tears dripping down his cheeks. He tugs my hand off his shirt and steps back. "Did Annie HURT you?". Eren falls to his knees. My eyes widen. I know something wasn't right. At the mention of Annie, Eren would break out and blabber nervously. I knew he digged the girl. Up til graduation he just couldn't stop staring at Annie. But that spark ended when Eren fought Annie. Eren had know hated the girl. But recently he's taken Annie's friendship back. I was so confused. "DID ANNIE HURT YOU?" I repeat more sternly. Eren's fists are balled up. I sigh and grip Eren's key around my neck. I suddenly realize I still had it. I take it off and crouch down. "Eren..." I state. He looks up at me. I hand him the key. His eyes widen. "Armin....thank you" he says. I begin to cry again and pull him into a hug. He begins to sob as well. We both sob as the sun sets behind us. I didn't care what happened....I was just glad that my friend was back.
