The mothers each gave birth to a beautiful blue son. The doctors were horrified and the mothers were devastated. The three little boys were laying wrapped up in blankets eyes closed but not crying. The were smiling serenely not at all like normal baby. The doctors wanted to keep the blue children but each mother refused wanting to take their child home. They loved the children just as they would love any other child. The boys grew up as friends and were never separated. Now the peculiar thing is that they never spoke. Not even to each other. They didn't have ears but it seemed they could hear things just as any other person. They became outcasts of the town. They spent more and more time together and less and less time with their community. Eventually the disappeared all together. The mothers were devastated again but they knew they had done their best to raise them.

The boys now young men had run off to New York City. Were they walked around but never drew any attention to themselves. NYC was used to weird and wacky so this didn't change a thing.
