Alex p.o.v

Altair left the room and I'm stuck with a blonde hair, green eyed woman. My wolf takes over and yells for her mate. "Altair! Help meeeeeeee!!!!" I yell out and my wolf retreats into the back of my mind just after. Altair runs into the room and looks around frantically for any threats. Once he managed to find out that there were no threats, just my fear of people, he calmed down.  He sighed and looked at the blonde lady. "Joanna. This is my mate, Alex. Alex, this is my beta's mate, Joanna. You have nothing to fear from her, i understand your still afraid but please. Let her help you." Altair said with a slight tone of annoyance. "hello Alex, im Joanna. Everyone calls me Jo." Jo said as she held out her hand. A soft smile graced her face as i looked her over. She looked kind enough and my wolf isnt giving off any bad signs towards her. 

Her and Altair's eyes glaze over as they mind link. Altair lets out a growl and runs out the door. Jo looks at me with a small smile and i try to give her back one. I fear that i might have fallen short though. "lets get you cleaned up. I think we are going to be best friends." She said as she helped me up and lead me to the bathroom.

ALTAIR P.O.V

"Hello Alex, im Joanna. Everyone calls me Jo." Jo sqaid and right after she mind linked me. "Did you say her name was Alex?" She asked me. "Yeah, why do you ask?" "What pack was she from?" She questioned and i, frankly, lost care as to why. "Power pack. Why do you ask?" "Because didnt the beta male and female 'loose' their daughter about three months ago? Their daughter's name was Alex." She said and i growled. I stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind me. 

It all made so much seance now. I knew my mate was born in a higher rank then omega. She didnt have the Endurance of an omega born wolf. Could they of stripped her of her title? Is that why she is so weak and scared of the higher ranking wolves? I mean, after all, my dad was killed in a rouge attack and everyone was scared of me.  No one can ever know how a newly crowned alpha will react to all the power. They could go power drunk like Demitri, the Rouge KIng. Or the could become level headed like Ace did when he was 16.  Ace is the Prison pack alpha, and one of my friends. The power pack on the other hand will have some issues with me until Sage takes power. Which i fear maybe soon. 

I need to go to my beta, Jackson, so he can work his magic on finding out what exactly went down with Alex in the power pack. "Hey Jackson, meet me at the pack house will you?" I mind link him as i begin the 3 mile run to the pack house. "Im already here. Joanna duct taped me to the wall and left right after you mind linked her." He said with a laugh. I laughed and cut the link off. I will find out what exactly happened to my mate, even if i need to go to the Power pack myself.
