Rogue and Apollo finally reached a red barn filled with horses. They heard a voice yelling, and like lightning, a buckskin flew out of the barn carrying a hay net in his mouth.  Roguelit up, it was Prince. 

"Get back here you stupid horse!" A man yelled, running after Prince. Prince came to a full stop and when the man was right behind him, he kicked. The man fell to the ground and Prince trotted away, happily. 

Rogue held her mouth open in amazement, her father had just stolen from a human and got away with it! 

Prince looked at her and smirked. "Better close your mouth, honey. We don't want flys." 

"Princ-Prince."Rogue stuttered, leaning towards him. 

"What? And how do you know me?" He asked, glaring. 

"I know this might sound weird, but I'm your daughter." Roguefollowed him, until he came to another full stop. 

"I don't have a daughter." He looked at her with great puzzlement. 

"Yeah you do, you were exiled before I was born. You were mates to Taka, I'm your foal." Rogue explained, hoping to find some connection. The stallion wondered off into his thoughts. 

His face brightened with joy. "Have come to join me?" He asked, moving into a hugging position. 

"Indeed." Rogue nodded her head and they hugged hazily. 

"And your friend." Prince nodded his head towards Apollo. Rogue had forgotten about Apollo, he was so quiet. 

"Oh, right. This is Apollo, my companion on this journey." Rogue explained. 

"Follow me. I will lead you to my herd, but it's sort of a herd with rogues and human horses, but I have trained them all and they are strong." Prince explained as he transitioned into a canter. 

They arrived at Prince's grounds, he dropped the hay net and the horses gathered around. They looked tough, scars covered their body, ribs poked out, and some were even missing eyes. 

"Don't be afraid." Prince reassured as he jumped onto a rock that was shaped like a pride rock. 

"I'm not afraid." Rogue nickered confidently. Prince smirked and swished his tail. A large stallion with huge muscles stood in front of Rogue and reared, starting a challenge. 

Rogue swiftly kicked the stallion's front leg and he fell to the ground, she then jumped in the air and enforced the killing blow. 

Prince held his mouth agape. "How did you do that?" 

"It's the genes my father gave me." Rogue smiled foolishly. 

"Well, training will start tomorrow inside the willow cave." Prince explained, turning away to his den. 

Rogue looked around, there was a cave covered in willow vines. She was sure that was it. 

She lay down to get some rest, Apollo next to her. 

"Rogue, are you sure we made the right choice by coming here?" Apollo asked, scratching his leg. 

"Yes, why?" 

"I don't know. I'm going to be honest with you, StarHerd came to me one night and told me to kill you. I couldn't, I don't have the heart to do that. I don't like to kill." Apollo looked into Rogue's hateful eyes. 

"StarHerd?" She asked. Apollo nodded his head. 

Is StarHerd betraying me? Oh, whatever, I found my father. Rouge chuckled to herself. 

Taka's POV: 

Taka shook around in her sleep in discomfort. She awoke with a gasp. Something felt extremely wrong, Rogue had found Prince. 

Picasso also awoke by her loud breaths. "Are you okay?" He asked, grooming her neck. 

"No, something is wrong." Taka shook her head and her stomach churned. 

"What is it?" 

"It's... It's Rogue. I sense something bad- like war- will come." Taka stuttered, trying to explain the feeling she felt. 

"Maybe it's just the air, come on, get some sleep." Picasso reassured. Taka nodded her head, and closed her eyes. 

Picasso turned away, onto his other side, and smiled grimly. I will kill that mare and her father, no matter the cost. Picasso thought to himself, and fell to a sleep.
