In this chapter I wanna talk about some dos and don'ts of pngs.

TIP ONE. Color of PNGs

You want your images to look good, like an actual cover. But you cant really do that when one person is a warm time while the other is a cool tone. That just doesnt make it look good.

For example this cover

This is a don't do type of thing.

If you want to use two pngs but they are like that I'd recommend filtering the pngs separately.

In this example I adjusted the Seungmin png (and lightly adjusted the Chan png) to make them match a bit better.

TIP TWO. Stretching and shrinking your png.

I cannot stress this enough but DO NOT STRETCH OR SHRINK YOUR PNG. Just don't.

In Pics Art, only use the corners to shift the size. In Superimpose make sure your lock is on.

This will ensure you keep the aspect ratio so that people still continue to look like people.

TIP THREE. Placement of PNG

When having PNG it can be important to know where to put your PNG.

For many covers you can just put the png in the middle and go on about your day. But what if you dont want to put the png in the middle?

Now, the example above can work. I'm not saying you 100% cannot do this.

But because Han is facing that way plus having him on the side he is face just makes him feel cut off.

Something like this just makes it look better.

Now, there are some exceptions to this, I'll admit. Especially if you have more than one png or if the png are facing forward.

Here are some things you can try if you have more than one png or if you dont want a png in the middle.

TIP FOUR. Do not use pngs that are cut off for basic covers

Which looks better

If you say the first one, you are lying to yourself

The first png is cut off. To just put it in the middle (which yes I've seen some of yall do that) with nothing around it just doesnt make it look good.

There are ways around this though. If you have a png you want to use but its cut off there are many things you could do.

You could make the png bigger

You could make an aesthetic type cover

Something like that.

Just experiment when it comes to PNGs that are cut off. You can still make cool covers with them. But dont just slap a cut off png in the middle and leave it at that.

Try to do something with it.
