What if I told you that Edward Cullen wasn't Isabella Swan's first love? You definitely wouldn't believe that, would you? But I am telling you that it's the truth. She had a boyfriend in Phoenix who was her first love, who broke up with her a year before she moved to Forks to protect her because he was afraid that if someone from his past found out about her, they would hurt her to get to him, so he broke up with her, and of course, she was heartbroken and devastated, but she eventually started to move past it a little at a time but we'll talk more about him a little later, and then she decided to move to Forks and spend time with her dad so that her mother and step-father who played minor league baseball could travel. 

She didn't mind the small town her dad, Charlie, lived in; it was quiet and relatively small. What she never anticipated, though, was meeting Edward Cullen or 'falling in love' with him, especially so quickly. Everything was going pretty well, for a while anyway. Only Edward had subtly started to change Bella, and not for the better. She was too enamored of him to even realize what was happening.  

That was one reason why Charlie never liked Edward from the start because he knew that he was changing his daughter, but everything went south when Bella accidentally gets a paper cut at her birthday party at the Cullen's, and that caused Jasper to nearly lose control which Bella felt absolutely terrible about and the next day Edward took her into the woods and broke up with her and then he left her there in the woods and made his family leave town.

Bella was uncharacteristically not herself anymore, thanks to Edward, and after a month of her being in her comatose state, Charlie had enough and sent her to live with his half-sister, Elizabeth Forbes. 

Bella was unknowingly about to be thrust back into the life of her first love, Rainer Mikaelson, and it was going to be the best thing that could have happened to her because she realizes that Edward lied to her about her being his mate and that the reason that she 'fell' for him so quickly was because of the 'Cold One Allure' which was used by most of them to lure in prey, but Edward liked to use it on his blood singers to make them love him before he killed them when he got bored. 

NOTE:
So, I've been in this horrible writing slump for almost a month now. I had this idea and figured starting a new book might help get me out of the slump, and then I quickly threw this idea together. 

This will be more on the AU side for TVD like none of the originals were daggered as much as they were in Cannon and not for long periods of time. also, this Bella will not be like canon Bella, and Rainer or Rai is Rebekah's twin brother.
