it had been a month since The Cullen's left the small town of Forks, Washington, and Charlie had noticed the change in his daughter immediately after she started dating Edward Cullen, he knew, his daughter, and he knew that something was up but he just didn't know what it was, because there was no reason that his daughter would become that dependent on a boy she barely knew so quickly.  Hell the man had met her ex boyfriend from Phoenix a couple of times and she wasn't even like this after they broke up which made this situation even stranger and Rai her ex-boyfriend, had been her first love.

This wasn't the Bella that he knew, he wanted his daughter back to herself and he'd had enough of her moping and just staring out her window when she got home from school. So he made the decision to send his daughter to live with his half-sister Elizabeth Forbes, in Mystic Falls to help her get back to herself, he knew that his niece Caroline would be a big help with that because the two girls were always close but when Bella started dating Edward, she'd distanced herself from everyone just to be with him and that's exactly what he had wanted.

Edward had wanted Bella to be 100 percent dependent on him because he had planned to, like he always did with his blood singers, kill her when he got bored, and he couldn't have her depend on anyone but him for his little plan to work but that all went out the window at her birthday party when Jasper almost attacked her which he couldn't; 't have anyone but him be the one to kill her which was why he saved her there. 

Once he convinced Carslile to move the family, he planned to come back and kill Bella and make it look like a nomad attacked her and her father,  but he couldn't find a minute away from his siblings to actually go and do it. But enough about Edward right now.  

Bella had just gotten home from school, and she walked into the kitchen, after entering the house. "Hey, Bells, sit down," Charlie said in a stern but worried tone. 

She furrowed her brow, not used to hearing that tone from her father, "what is it, Dad?" she asked quietly. 

Charlie looked at her, "You haven't been yourself lately, Bells, and I'm worried about you, so  I have decided that you are going to visit your aunt Liz and cousin Caroline for a while. I love you, and I hate seeing you like this, so I thought maybe a change of scenery might help. I've spoken to your mother, and she agrees that it's a good idea." 

Bella was silent for a moment; she didn't want to leave Forks. She knew that Edward probably wasn't coming back, and after the month of being away from him, her mind had been clearing up a little, and she realized that he had been subtly controlling her every move from the moment that they started dating, it was something that she had been too blind to see when it was happening.  "but what about you? I don't want to leave you alone." 

Charlie smiled at her, his features softening, "I know, Bells, but I'll be okay for a little while, and once you feel better, you can come back home, but I think it would be good for you to help get him off your mind, you haven't seen Caroline in a while, and I know how close you two have always been and she's looking forward to seeing you again." 

The eighteen-year-old sighed but knew by his tone that her father was not changing his mind about this, and that he had a point that it would help her forget about Edward, so she looked at him, "When am I leaving?" 

"Next Monday, that gives you a few days to say goodbye to your friends and take care of anything that you need to take care of before I transfer you out of school and have your aunt Liz register you into Mystic Falls High School with Caroline." 

Bella nodded, "Okay, and I love you too, Dad; I realize that I haven't actually said that to you lately, but I do." 

He smiled and hugged her; this was just a peak of the way his daughter was before she was drawn into the web that is Edward Cullen.  "I am going to miss you, Bells, but as I said, once you start feeling like yourself again, once you feel better, you can come back home." 

Bella hugged him back. She knew that she was lucky to have such a loving father and that he really only wanted what was best for her, and for the first time in a while, she made dinner for her and her dad. It was something that she used to do a lot in her first few weeks in Forks, but then Edward started taking up all of her time.

Monday morning had rolled around, and Bella had said goodbye to her friends but promised to keep in touch while she was gone. They were surprised but happy that she wasn't shutting them out anymore. 

Bella only had a few things packed because Caroline promised to take her shopping once she got settled and said they were getting her a whole new wardrobe. Bella and Charlie were just pulling up to the airport.  

Charlie grabbed her two carry-on bags; as mentioned, she wasn't bringing much with her. 

They checked her in and waited for her flight to be called. Once it was, they said their goodbyes, and Bella promised to call him as soon as she landed. 

Charlie hugged her tightly one more time before she boarded the flight. 

Once she was settled on the plane, she put her earbuds in, looking through the playlists on her iPod; she paused on a particular one for a moment before clicking on it and deciding to listen to it for the first time since she left Pheonix because it was their playlist, they had made to together and after the break up she couldn't bring herself to listen to it, but now, she felt like she could listen to it.

She closed her eyes and just leaned back, relaxing into the seat as much as she could as it was going to be a long flight.
