kelly wright was broke. as broke as one kid with no parents could be. the reason she had no parents? well— who leaves a straightener on before school? apparently kelly. that's who.

burdened with being the cause of her parents' death, kelly's a rogue. she doesn't need anyone or anything because she's quite comfortable with being the self-loathing werewolf she's been since she was fourteen.

refusing to go into foster care, she runs away. yeah, she has an issue with running away when things get tough.

kelly's living on the street, living like a true peasant in california when she overhears two men talking about a supernatural hit list with millions upon millions for reward money.

kelly's quick. and after a somewhat quick encounter between the three of them, she steals the list.

her plan is set in motion when she checks herself into beacon hills high school. right in the center of beacon hills, the quite literal beacon for supernatural creatures. and the high school is crawling with them.

what wasn't part of the plan? meeting an outspoken werecoyote-recently-turned-human who is intrigued by kelly.

just because kelly didn't like to fall in love didn't mean she didn't like to mess around a bit when an opportunity arises.

and boy— was malia tate an opportunity.
