Friday had arrived quickly, and we all agreed to go to school so that I could attend my morning classes instead of my evening ones.

"On second thought can we use my car?" Tristan questions as we walk down the halls to the last class.

"Sure, who are you going to let drive?" Chase questions, secretly hoping it's him.

"Josh,"

"Why?" he shrugs," I'm your best friend,"

Tristan chuckles as he nudges his shoulder.

"So is Josh, but with a bit more responsibility to his name," he says.

"Why'd you switch?" Joshua asks.

"Olivia's car is girly," he smiles, making sure to annoy me.

He looks back at me because they're walking in front of me like three big giants.

Tristan comes to a halt and waits for me to catch up, which forces Josh and Chase to come to a halt as well.

"Can you hurry Olivia?" Chase jeered, causing me to roll my eyes once more.

Maybe you should try being 5'5 with thin ass legs.

"You guys go ahead, I'll walk her to her class," Tristan says.  With a bewildered expression on my face, I stare at him.

Chase taps him on the back lightly before murmuring something, and the two boys walk away together.

What's the point of having a boyfriend if he's just going to drop me off with one of his friends and isn't even going to class?

"Ollie," he murmurs, gently nudging my shoulder as though we're friends.

"Stop calling me that, and please don't touch me; we're not friends," I comment.

I roll my eyes as he speaks, "Come on, I was only playing when I said that."

It's become a bad habit, but I'm surrounded by idiots can you blame me?

"No, you made it clear; keep this in mind, and I quote. We're not friends and never will be, you're just another girl Chase will throw away soon," In the last statement, I repeat it in his voice.

He pauses for a second before responding, and I nod, knowing I had won the debate. He apologizes "Okay, I'm sorry for being mean."

I come to a halt to glance up at Tristan, who has just said something I've never heard him say in his life.

"What,"

"I said I'm sorry, now don't make me say it again," he says, a small smile on his face.

He responds, "I want us to start over with a clean slate." My expression says it all: I'm completely perplexed.

"And what made you alter your mind about this?" I inquire.

After he realised I stopped at my class he turns around and walks backwards before shrugging, "I don't know Ollie, I don't know,"

My second class consisted of Tabitha and Tristan, as well as the one and only Mr Clarke, who enjoys expressing his frustrations on his students.

"Hey," I remark as I take a seat next to Tabitha, attracting her attention.

"Do you know what the homework was?" she asks nervously, "because I'm afraid this man is going to yell at me."

"It was only to read pages eight to fifteen," I explain, and she nods. Before she asks another inquiry, I begin to take my belongings from my bag.

"I'm sorry if this is a strange question, but is Joshua single?" I pause for a fraction of a second before turning to face her.

This is exactly why I don't have friends.

"I don't know, maybe you should ask him," I suggest before turning away to roll my eyes.

"He appears to like you," she mumbles, and with a raised brow, my gaze darts across to her.

"What?"

"I know you're with Chase," she adds "But Joshua is always gushing at you, and Chase's treatment of you at the beach was awful; he was completely ignoring you," she explains.

"He's just like that," I mutter and she gives me a questionable look before shaking her head.

"If I were you, I'd leave since he doesn't appear to care about you or your feelings; don't hate me; it's just some advice,"

Lunch had come around quickly, and we were all in Tristan's car.

Joshua's in the passenger seat and Tristan is driving, whilst Chase and I are in the backseat.

Chase had been distant all week, and I felt like we were approaching our breaking point faster than normal.

I look out the window as we pass by the streets and residences. I lean against the window, praying that we can get through the day without an issue.

I'm a little remorseful about coming because Chase had been a jerk the entire way, and we'd only been in the car for ten minutes.

"Why are you so moody today?" He asks.

He's been pushing all the wrong buttons since Monday, instead of responding I roll my eyes.

I look away from him and he places his hand on mine but I pull mine away.

"Leave me alone for a while please," I mutter.

The car had stopped and Joshua had begun to talk before he could respond. "Let's go get Tristan high out of his mind," he said eagerly as he unbuckled his seat belt.

Everyone does the same and in a matter of minutes, we're all inside the dentist's room.

"Are you certain you want everyone inside?" The dentist inquires. She was tall with ginger hair and freckles, which surprised me because I'd never seen a ginger in the medical sector.

"Yeah, just ignore them and do what you have to,"  Tristan says with a slight smile.

After almost an hour, Tristan's appointment was done and the boys were trying to get him inside of the car.

But he was drowsy and stumbled everywhere.

"Chase—" Tristan slurs.

"Hush and get in the car," Joshua mutters as he buckles the older boy into the backseat.

I was stuck in the backseat with a high Tristan since Joshua was driving and Chase wanted to sit in the front.

"Can we stop for a milkshake, I'm hungry," he says, his eyes are barely staying open as he speaks and his head is bopping around way too much.

"Tristan you can't eat yet," Chase tells him as he looks at him from in between the two seats.

"Yes I can you dumbass," he curses causing Joshua to snicker in the driver's seat.

Tristan unbuckled his seatbelt and attempted to lay down in the seat, but he was unable to do so; so he decided to use my legs as a pillow.

"She told me I can have, yoghurt, apple sauce, milkshakes, and mashed potatoes," Tristan says.

"I'm positive she said smoothies," I mutter.

"Potato  Patato, Tomato Tamato, smoothie milkshakes," he mumbles. Joshua laughs slightly before Chase turns around to face the road.

"We can stop for a milkshake, I think that's fine," Joshua speaks and I shake my head.

Tristan gives me an odd glance when I say, "I propose we grab him a smoothie."

"But I want a milkshake," He bickers, slurring on his words since the cotton rolls are affecting his speech.

"And you'll get one later when you don't have a hole in your mouth,"

"But what if I don't want one later?" he wonders, a juvenile pout on his face as he raises his light eyes to me.

It was amusing to watch him in this state; he seldom, if ever, lets himself be loose, at least not around me."Fine, I'll take the fudging smoothie," he says and crosses his arms.

Joshua had stopped outside a little local smoothie shop after that chat and gone inside, leaving Chase, Tristan, and myself alone.

Tristan plays with a strand of my hair as I rest my head against the glass. Chase gazes at me with a lifted eyebrow.

"Are you just going to let him rest his head in your lap?" He questions. As Tristan removes his hand from my hair, I roll my eyes and turn to face him.

"Can you tell me what you want me to do?" I say, a little irritated. "You didn't seem to have a problem when you went into the ocean with Jada after calling me desperate, so if you don't want me to blow up on you, shut up,"

Tristan jumps in before Chase can finish his sentence. "Do you recall the girl from the party, Chase?" He mutters a little as he looks at Chase.

Chase gives him a weird glare as though he's telling him to keep quiet.

"Green eyes, dirty blonde hair,"

"Tristan shut up," Chase mutters. I raise a brow, already positive about what he's about to say.

"Did you get laid that night when Olivia was bawling her eyes out at home?" he inquires, his gaze drawn to him.

"It's kind of brave to hook up with a stranger then hook up with Jada, at the same time you want to hook up with Olivia simply because you want her virginity, don't you think that's enough cheating?" says Tristan before Chase opens his mouth to answer.
