A few weeks had passed since the "intervention"
Christmas had passed and it felt lonely not having Tristan around but since the semester was around the corner, the boys had hosted a party for back to school.
It was hosted at their old house since Josh and Chase moved back in. Tristan on the other hand, was still stuck at the manor but he didn't seem to hate it.
I picked out a quick outfit since I was already late and Kate was practically playing a song with her horn.
I slipped my shoes on after putting on my clothes then I rushed outside.
"Bye Mom," I exclaim.
"Have fun," she tells me.
I reach the car and sigh, "Really Kate?" I ask.
"I told you to be there in ten minutes," she says.
"Nice outfit tho," Tab says.
"Well thank you very much, would've been better if someone had some patience," I mutter as I watch her roll her eyes.
I hear my phone bing as she drives off and I laugh slightly as I read the message.
"Ew, who's that?" Kate questions.
"It's just Josh,"
"Since when have you two been so close?" Tabitha inquires.
"Just making sure he's okay, now and then but we've been close since everyone talked things out,"
She doesn't notice that I see, but Kate gives a questionable facial expression after hearing that.
I'm pretty sure she hates that I broke up with Tristan for the sake of Josh. But I couldn't stand the feeling that I'm somewhat responsible.
"Just be careful, Josh doesn't seem like Josh much these days," Tabitha says.
"I'll be fine, I promise,"

The music blasts in my ears and the vibration pumps through my chest then I immediately remember why I hate parties.
Kate, Tabitha and I make our way through the crowd before meeting the boys.
Chase of course has a girl tangled around his arm, Tristan's playing beer pong and Joshua is taking shots.
He tosses one back then spins around and sees us, "You guys made it," he says.
Beads of sweat trickle down his forehead and he opens his arms wide to hug us all.
"Good to see you too Josh," Kate mutters pushing him back.
"Need a drink?" He asks and I nod.
Why not, it's a party might as well have fun before the last day of winter break.
He smiles then heads off to the kitchen, Chase takes his opportunity to approach me as Tabitha and Kate walk away.
"Isn't it my favourite ex," he mutters.
"I think Kate would be offended by that,"
"Oh come on, we're friends I can make jokes right?" He asks.
"Chase, I tolerate you at best," I tell him.
"I'm only playing, no need to get all feisty, maybe if you were like this during the relationship, it would've lasted a bit longer," he chuckles as he walks away.
Joshua comes back with the drink and hands it to me. I don't question what it is I just start drinking it.
"Woah, slow down that's not just coke," he says.
"I'm fine, can I have this," I ask, pointing to his drink.
"Uh sure," he mutters before handing it to me.
He smiles slightly and guides me towards the kitchen to get another drink for himself.
"Is that Hennessy?" I ask.
He nods as I grab the bottle.
"I think I'll just have this," I mutter.
"No way, you're a lightweight,"
"Oh, I'll show you a lightweight," I say.

I bump into something and quickly apologise, then I realise it's just a wall, I laugh slightly and whisper, "Why am I apologising, you're just a wall,"
"Then again why I am even talking to a wall," I say.
I feel my knees give up but someone holds my arms gently before I faceplant, they hold me up still and hold my waist so I don't fall over again.
"How much did you drink?" He asks and I realise it's Tristan.
"Oh you're the wall, that makes more sense now," I slur.
He looks at the bottle in my hand and takes it from me, "You're stealing that's mine," I say.
"First off that's mine, I bought it and second off, why is the bottle more than half empty," he asks.
I giggle slightly, "That was a lot of alcohol,"
He curses under his breath. "Can you stand?"
I shake my head then suddenly I feel my feet off the ground, "I'm levitating," I say.
"Ollie shut up, I'm carrying you," he mutters as he walks up the stairs.
He carries me into a bedroom and puts me to sit down, "I'm coming back," he says as he lets me go.
I grab his shirt and he stops to look at me, "Don't leave me," I say.
"I'll be back in a second, I promise,"
"Please," I plead.
He places a kiss on my forehead and whispers, "I'm going to try to help you feel better,"
He turns around then leaves the room and I lay back. I feel my head begin to pound and my breathing becomes heavy.
The loud music continues to vibrate in my chest and the overstimulation of alcohol made my body weak.
Making drinking wasn't my thing.
After a few minutes, the door opens and Tristan walks in with a few bottles of water and a pizza box.
"You brought me pizza," I say as I sit up.
He sits next to me and places the pizza box along with the bottles on the bed.
"Since you drank so much you need to eat," he says.
"Plus water makes drinking a little worse,"
"How do you know so much?" I ask as I grab a pizza.
"My brother," he says.
"Speaking of him, where has he been?" I ask.
"He's at an old friend's house, it's actually not a lie, he hasn't been doing any drugs, my mom tested him," he says.
"That's good to hear," I say then flop back onto the bed as I eat the pizza.
Tristan pulls me back up, "Eat properly," he says.
"Fine," I mumble.
"I told Kate and Tabitha that you were drunk out of your mind and that I'd take you home,"
"I can't go home, my parents would kill me," I say.
"No, they won't, your dad maybe but not your mom,"
"I'm so fucked," I mutter.
"You can stay here if you really want to, this is basically my room," he tells me.
"Really?" I ask.
"Yeah just don't do anything completely stupid," he says.

After the party dies down, and I'm practically dosing off to sleep. Tristan gets up, "Where are you going?" I ask.
"Downstairs," he says.
"Why?" I ask.
"A nap,"
"You can sleep here, it's your bed after all," I tell him.
"I don't think I should," he tells me.
"Please, I want you to," I plead.
He finally accepts my offer and closes the door before he walks back to the bed where he lies down.
I turn towards him and he looks directly into my eyes. "I'm not sure," I mutter.
"About what?" He questions, in a soft voice.
"Letting you go," I whisper.
He holds my hand slightly, "You're not letting me go,"
"I am, I feel like I should have a warning sign because of how much I hurt the people around me," I say.
"Like caution tape?" he chuckles.
"I'm serious, I'm pushing you away after having the best relationship I've ever had and hurting Josh's feelings,"
"No, I'm right here, I always will be," he says.
"I miss you a lot," I say.
I had no control over my words they just continued to spill out.
"Me too," he says, placing a kiss on my forehead.
"But I want Josh to be happy,"
"I get that," he says, his voice getting softer.
I thought the alcohol would make me think of it less, but I didn't expect Tristan to do any of this which just brought up all emotions I'd buried over the past few weeks.
"Sing to me," I tell him.
I've never heard him sing, but I want to. Even if it stinks. It's the thing I wanted the most right now.
"Ollie I can't,"
"Please," I plead as I slide myself into his arms and wrap mine around his torso.
"Fine," he mutters.
He starts off slow and soft, singing 'Teenage Dream' and I'm completely memorised. His voice had the perfect range, and wasn't too harsh although his voice was rather deep.
He should sing more often.
"I like this song," I whisper and he laughs slightly as he continues to sing.
He closes his eyes and keeps singing. I admire his face for a bit. His lashes are so long, and his brows are messy but not in an unattractive way.
His lips move slowly as he sings softly. I rest my head on his chest and close my eyes, I enjoy his singing as I slowly fall asleep.
