Chapter Three: Pain

-v- Follow

---

The twins hummed softly as they looked in some trash for more 'toys'. They were preparing for their first victim and they knew what they were doing. Thanks to 'Zeke', their uncle, they lost most of the feelings of sympathy and remorse.

The only one, that they really felt those feelings for, were their uncle, yet they didn't feel too much emotion towards him except some hatred. Not all of it was hatred, but most of it was.

After they found more brutal things to torment others with, they needed to figure out how to lure people in, which was the hard part. Then Savannah saw it.

A couple of homeless children were given a place to stay in a random woman's house.

Her lips curved slightly in a smirk. Quietly, she told her brother what she saw.

He smiled back at her, his thoughts twisting and turning in ways that weren't human. How could they not use what they know?

Quickly, the two hurried back to their home. They had to prepare the house for when they get guests~ They don't want them to be too uncomfortable. Before they could do anything Savannah told Zeke to stay in his room so he wouldn't scare anyone off.

The uncle did as he was told, laying down in his bed happily.

The children hummed softly, finding old, ripped clothing that would help them lure some poor person to their demise.

They were careful on who to choose. They didn't want to get caught, so they decided to try and get some children first. Start small, work your way up.

The two were sweet looking, even if they were dirty. They made sure to be good, good friends with many, many children. Especially children with outdoor animals.

The children were the easiest to earn the trust of. It was the parents that were harder.

Some parents glared at the two with disgust. Others would look at them with pity and pain.

Soon, they pulled the little pets with them, one by one. Then, the children followed almost happily to find their missing companions.

The parents were harder; some of them weeped and cried loudly into the night, yet they didn't move to find their 'angels'. Others snarled and howled about how heartbroken they were from their missing children. Then there were the desperate ones.

They clung to anything of their childrens, even the false rumors that were whispered in their ears.

They ran and ran to their children. The same children that smiled and watched as the twins opened them up.

The parents screamed in pain, tears falling from their eyes at the betrayal. They watched and felt as their body was sliced and divided; they gagged and coughed as they watched the twins pull organ after organ out.

That wasn't the worst part though. Yes, the pain they were faced with was horrible, and the betrayal of their own child was more scarring. Yet, the true pain was to listen to their babies scream and cry from the same torment they faced.

The twins didn't care. They smiled softly and hummed to 'soothe' their 'friends'. But they didn't truly care. How could they when no one cared for them? When no one showed them this was wrong? When no one showed them true love and care?

The child sobbed, growing weaker and weaker with each second. Many of the children begged for death, wishing for it.

The twins paused and nodded, giving the weeping children something to help them sleep peacefully. Then, it was the parents who broke.

They sobbed and sobbed, eating and drinking nothing for days. Letting their wounds get infected, not caring about anything.

The twins let the parents sob and cry and do all of that. Most of the children who were alive were terrified, crying a little as well for death.

While all this was going on, the uncle decided to just stay on his bed, in a curled up ball. He was very scared, hearing all of the other people in pain. Yet when the crying of the children died down he was almost thankful, but horrified by what the twins had done nonetheless.

Zeke, the uncle, felt almost alone but relieved not to witness the deaths of others. But everytime he heard the twins laughing or talking about the horrible things they'd do, he just hated himself even more. In fact, he started to cry some, thinking of the times he hurt them.

He deserved this. He deserved every ounce of pain that was thrown his way, yet those children... Some of those parents even, they didn't deserve this. They didn't deserve this horrible pain.

The twins came back up. They were bloody and smiling almost happily.

"Zeeke~!" Savannah sang out, walking into the room.

Said male winced, but he didn't move away. He knew better than to move away.

"We want you to do something for us~" Ace cooed out, smirking some.

The uncle winced again, but nodded. He had no choice, it was do it willingly, or be punished and do it still.

Zeke nodded slowly, getting up even slower. Ace left the room, leaving Savannah in charge of her 'pet'.

Savannah told him he was digging holes. That's all she said, though Zeke was tempted to ask why, he didn't ask at first for a few reasons. Usually he wasn't allowed to talk and he hasn't talked in so long. Also talking back could result in punishment but...

He has been obedient for a while so he decided to risk it, by asking "Why?", but he asked quietly, mostly in fear of Ace hearing and in fear of punishment.

Savannah giggled and smiled at him. She gently rubbed his cheeks, cooing at how soft he was being. She had decided to tell him as well, since he has been good for a while.

"They're for the children of course!" She chirped. "They need some place to stay peacefully."

Zeke shivered some at her almost happy tone. He tried to keep his own thoughts in his head but "You care?" slipped from his mouth, him having a confused tone with it. When he realized he said that, he cowered some, not wanting to be hit. He wasn't supposed to question them in the first place, so he didn't know why Savannah was being so sweet.

Savannah paused for a second, frowning softly before she gently kissed Zeke's lips. The kiss made them red with blood.

"Yes, we do." She chirped simply.

Zeke stared some before talking more. "So, you care about me too?"

Now, they do, but it's hard for them to show it since they are usually busy or..Other things. The question though made Savannah realize that they do need to give Zeke more attention that's good instead of bad.

The auburn haired girl kissed Zeke again, making that her answer.

Her kiss calmed her pet down some, but he was still tense. He didn't know why she was kissing him like that, but he didn't ask. He had already pushed it as far as he dared.

Besides, he needs to dig some graves
