They watched the stained glass windows in front of them broken into million pieces. The Book was open and the pages kept turning. Light casted through the broken windows, refracted through the scattered glass into a world of numerous colors.

This was not supposed to happen.

Was their last thought before everything went back to normal, the broken stained glass windows returned to its original state, like nothing happened.

But they weren't there anymore and many words had disappeared from The Book.

Nakajima Atsushi tried to reach the boy he and Akutagawa had been chasing. The kid was slippery and was very good in playing hide-and-seek with them for the past few hours.

Lewis Carroll, male, 7 years old.

Despite being quite young, the boy possessed an interesting ability.

Through The Looking Glass.

This ability allowed him to trap other people in an endless dream, forcing them to watch how their lives could turn out so different from their original ones.

The boy had used his ability to trap a huge number of people, putting them in comas. Dazai-san's ability, No Longer Human, had been able to cancel the effect on each victim, but the number of victims was huge, and the boy, Lewis, himself was still running around causing trouble. This case had been quite a problem for Yokohama as a whole so the Port Mafia had sent their aid to the Agency.

That was why he and Akutagawa were working together again. (Mostly because it was Dazai-san's idea.)

Atsushi jumped at the boy, and the world bloomed into multiple colors, like a piece of stained glass that had been smashed.

The Mad Dog of the Port Mafia watched in bewilderment as the weretiger's body glowed into a colorful light, looking like a kaleidoscope. It shot up to the sky and scattered through the city, leaving behind a gray light.

The gray light with an eerie vibe shook and violently took the shape of the similar silhouette of a human.

Once the gray light completely melted off, it left behind a person similar to Nakajima Atsushi.

He looked both the same and different, but Ryuunosuke knew that this was not the weretiger that he knew. This was someone else.

A different Nakajima Atsushi.
