3. Kinky or nah.

Team Rescue Derek Hale had successfully found the former alpha... just not in anyway anticipated.

It took Bugs 5 minutes to accept the truth, many of the time moving the young Derek's face around and questioning if they had stepped into Back To the Future. Derek Hale was roughly around the rest of the gangs age, right down to the nonexistent beard.

Bugs had to admit that gave him a little hope to his future beard goals.

Anyways, after the older Stilinski twin finally gave up looking for a plausible solution and instead just let it be added to the list of supernatural shit. Bugs had dropped off Malia and Kira after arriving in Beacon Hills and before meeting his original members of the team at the vets, all equally soaking wet from the downpour outside the vet clinic. All of them stood around the medical table with Deaton who looked just as confused.

"Wow." Were the first words the former Emissary murmured to the pack members.

"That does not sound like a good wow doc. Can we get a little bit more enthusiasm in that wow," Bugs immediately asked. He did not like the sound of Deatons words and by the sound of it neither did his twin.

"Wow? Wow as in, "I've seen this before and I know exactly what to do," kind of wow? 'Cause that's the kind of wow we were hoping for." Stilinski number 2 spoke up, looking at his brother.

"I think you might be overestimating my abilities boys," Deaton spoke to the twins

Lydia reached out and gently placed her hands over Derek's, "He's cold. Really cold."

"Do you think this is permanent?" Scott asked his vet.

"I'm not sure a medical diagnosis is even adequate. This is well beyond my experience." Deaton states, solely keeping his eyes on the young Hale.

"So what do we do with him?" Stiles asked him, not satisfied with the answers he had received.

"Until he wakes up." Deatons looks at them all, "Probably not much. It might be best to leave him with me. He'll be safe here."

"You mean from Kate?" Bugs questioned.

"If she's alive and she is what you say she is, she won't be able to walk past that gate." Deaton reminds them of the mountain ash.

"Why would she want do this to him?" Lydia questions, voicing everyone's thoughts.

Deaton is the first to come up with a theory, "Knowing Kate, it's probably for a reason that won't be any good for anyone but her."

"When isn't it," Bugs comments.

"And a bad idea for everyone else." Stiles finishes Deatons theory.

"You guys should probably go home. He doesn't look to be in any danger. So maybe the rest of you should get some sleep? It is a school night... And you all need to start taking care of your own lives again." The vet speaks to them all, reminding them they do have lives to live.

"Someone should stay with you," Scott speaks. He was concerned something might happen out of his ability.

"I'll stay." Lydia quirks, "My grades are fine... Despite missing a few classes."

Stiles shakes his head, "I'm so not okay with this."

Bugs raised an eyebrow, clearly noting the jealousy and worry in his brother. It was obvious the last thing Stiles wanted to do was leave Lydia to deal with the supernatural alone.

"Guys, go." Lydia speaks more to the Bugs and Scott. Urging them to get Stiles out before he stuck around further.

"No." Stiles refused.

Boys and Scott looked at on another, either debating who was going to push the younger Stilinski out of the door.

Scott sighed and began pulling Stiles out, yelling over his shoulder, "text us if anything happens." "Nope, still not okay with it." Stiles attempted to stand his ground but one shake of the head from his brother and tug form the teen wolf was all it took for him to be dragged out out. And it wouldn't be Stiles if there wasn't a little complaining going on, "All right, just 'cause you're stronger..."

Bugs laughed, deciding to stick around for a moment and talk to the banshee,"hey you okay doing this?"

"Yeah I'm fine," Lydia spoke, briefly glancing at Bugs before drifting back to Derek.

Bugs went to place his arm on her shoulder when Lydia moved out of the way. It was brief and nonchalant but he took notice of it and raised an eyebrow.

"Okay, well... call any of us is something goes wrong and try to get some sleep," he awkwardly said. Bugs ran his hand once through his hair and walked out.

Lydia sucked in a mouthful of cold air as soon as he was gone, she felt it. That feeling never went away, not when she was with Aiden, and definitely now when she was near Bugs. It was easier in a group with Bugs she could lose the feeling with multiple people around but the moment she was left alone and he came near, they would attack. Lydia's only reaction would be to shy away from him and pretend nothing was their.

She constantly told herself nothing was there.

Lydia wiped at her head, thankful that he was gone and she could concentrate once again. She never once noticed Deaton who watched the encounter the whole time with pursed lips and a racing mind.

Bugs got ready for bed as soon as he arrived home, Stiles barely murmuring a goodnight before he fell asleep on the bed (clothes and all.) Bugs looked around his darkened room, not bothering to look for a light switch.

He slept in only his boxers and a white t-shirt he branded sleepwear, which was what he currently scoured the dark room for. Both brothers had opted to go the DC route when it came to sleepwear and while Stiles had done Batman, Bugs had chosen his favorite superhero, The Flash.

"Looking for this?" Malia's voice come into his, blue eyes shining amidst the darkness.

"Jesus!" Bugs attempted not to yell and alert his brother who would, no doubt, bring in that metal bat of his. Who he thought it might harm was still a mystery to him.

"I borrowed it last time remember? I managed to get the deer blood out of it too," she says, flinging it towards him.

Bugs jerked a little once he had caught it, a quick image of Malia attacking a deer in his favorite shirt going through his mind.

He sighed, not really giving a care anymore and rolled it on, "let's just go to bed."

Malia nodded, immediately flipping the covers and going to lay down while Bugs practically crawled that way. He slumped into the bed, missing his creaking bed from the short nights at the Mexican Motel. Bugs began to settle in when suddenly Malias arm wrapped around his waist and her face snuggled between his neck.

Bugs eyes shot wide open, "uhm... Malia? What are you doing?"

"Sleeping, what about you?" She murmured.

"By spooning me?"

"Yes Bugs," Malia answers with a huff, just wanting to sleep. "What other way is there to sleep?"

"I don't know... maybe I could be the big spoon?" He questions, attempting not too sound embarrassed.

"Bugs, seriously? Are you even tired?" Malia questions, pulling away and leaning on her elbows. Due to her werewolf abilities she could see every inch of Bugs perfectly, even smell the alertness.

"Well I was, but you decided to make me a little spoon and now I can't sleep knowing I'm the little spoon." Bugs answers, turning his head to look at her.

"Seriously Bugs," Malia huffed, using her werewolf strength to lay him flat on his back. The bed squeaked heavily as she jumped on top of him. "Is this better then?"

"'Malia, we can't sleep like this," bugs points out, looking at the girl oddly. He stops and stares at her hair which has dramatically flared around her face, the way her mouth pouted while she thought of an answer.

"Bugs, you need to shut up and go to sleep," Malia stated, pulling downwards and kissing him. She took the lead, aggressively as only she could do but Bugs would see it no other way.

A few hours later, seeing as how they didn't actually go to sleep until around 3, Bugs awoke to a rather sore back and an empty bed. He sighed, knowing Malias was probably out in the woods with his Flash shirt once more attacking an unknown animal. Well, he really had no choice over that matter, Bugs would give the girl his leg if it meant her being happy.

Bugs groaned to life, sitting up in only his boxers and wincing at the pain in his back. The door to his room creaked open and in popped the younger Stilinski.

Stiles stood in the doorway with a toothbrush hanging out of his mouth, his trade plaid shirt, and a smirk on his face.

"I see that speaker you bought me for Christmas wasn't just an I love you present," Stiles spoke, alerting his brother.

Bugs lifted his head, rubbing at his swollen eyes and answered, "not in the mood yet Satan. I need coffee before I can even think of a witty comeback."

Bugs stretched out, once again wincing as he stood and turned around. Through tired eyes he searched his room for the bright red towel he needed before showering.

"Woah dude!" Stiles caught his attention once more, "did you guys decide that it was freak night or?"

Bugs turned to his brother, noticing how Stiles eyes were on his back. The older Stilinski walking towards the nearest mirror and turned around, he almost gasped when he caught site of the scratch marks there.

"Well shit, how did I not feel that one," Bugs said aloud, more of a thought then a question.

"Maybe because the right head wasn't making any decisions," Stiles answered instantly.

"Fuck you Stiles."

"Wrong twin."

"So it's like 2 in the morning. Im getting ready for bed and she's just on it, my shirt in hand and everything. She just sneaks in. This happens like five times a week." Bugs explains to his best friends (aka Scott and Stiles.) After a lethal amount of energy drinks and coffee, well lethal if you didn't deal with the supernatural most of the time, Bugs and Stiles each made it to school. The boys had this odd thing were neither drove to school together, preferring to drive in Roscoe and Thumper. Anyways, they arrived to school full of energy as Scott walked up to them, they all briefly shared a conversation over Derek and Lydia. Stiles informing them that he had checked up on the strawberry blonde and she was fine. After that short talk it turned to Bugs and his late night adventures with the resident werecoyote.

"And then what happens?" Scott asks, all 3 boys walking up the steps to heir class.

Bugs pauses, not knowing if he should really let him in on what happens next. Were claw marks considered hot or not?

Stiles unfortunately did not decide to let his brother think and instead smirked," show him."

Bugs narrows his eyes, tilting his head to look at his brother from across Scott," you really can't let that go can you?"

"What is he talking about?" Scott questions, seeming amused by what was to come.

Bugs huffs, lifting the back of his shirt and showcasing the lark claw marks, "This..."

"Holy..." Scott says in surprise. He expected a hickey, maybe even a bruise but claw marks were definitely not on his list of ideas.

"Yeah." Bugs huffs, pulling his shirt down and wincing. "Kinky as hell right? After that we spent the rest of the night spooning."

"That sounds okay." Scott says, shrugging his shoulders.

"Yeah, but I'm always the little spoon. Always." Bugs responds like it's not right. He didn't understand why he was the little spoon but he was even further confused as to why he preferred it.

"This means you guys are together, right? You're dating?" Stiles questions, having had this conversation one too many time with his older brother. No one really knew what Bugs and Malia were, everyone just had the idea they were there for one another. Bugs would always gravitate towards Malia when danger would strike, keeping her within reaching distance. Malia on the other hand would immediately jump into action if danger occurred, pushing Bug behind her. It was strange but their thing.

"I don't know, sometimes the way she looks at me, I think she knows I'm not telling her something." Bugs sighed, remembering what it was exactly that he kept. Bugs had many secrets, good or bad they were all to keep people safe, at least that's what he told himself. Malias secrets was one he didn't really know what to do with. Everyone had the right to know who their birth parents were, even if one of them was a psychotic motherfucker.

"You mean Peter?" Both Stiles and Scott said in the same moment. Everyone in the pack knew except for her, the one person who it affected the most had no clue what type of mystery lay in Beacon Hills.

"We got to tell her, Scott." Bugs said in resignation, he knew the moment was nearing. With each day that his feelings free for her, his guilt grew even more.

"Yeah, I know. I just... I don't know how." Scott answered, breathing deeply.

The trio walked into their history room where Mr. Yukimura, or Kira's father, was currently the teacher. The werecoyote already sat at her desk, highlighting multiple things while keeping another one in her mouth. Bugs smirked, letting her be. She had tons to catch up on in the human world. The bell rang shortly after, Mr. Yukimura turning form the board and looking at each student.

"It might surprise you to know that some of history's greatest leaders have had to endure some pretty great failures." His lecture began. "One you'll recognize from last night's reading failed in business, had a nervous breakdown, was defeated for both houses of Congress, and lost as Vice President, before he was finally elected as one of the greatest presidents that this country has ever seen. Who was he?"

After his question immediately hands went up, Bugs slower then most as he racked his Brian for a minute before coming up with Honest Abe. Mr. Yukimura however took the teacher route of doing things and picked someone who didn't raise their hand, "Malia."

Malia looked frozen for a moment, like a deer caught in headlights. Bugs practically shrinking in his seat, he watched on as she nodded at the teacher and began flipping through various pages. Malis stuck the higlighter she had been using in an empty spot of her mouth.

"Oh god," Bugs lowly mumbled, lifting his hand higher. He didn't want his girlfriend to be embarrassed in front of the whole class and if her had to make himself look like an idiot then that's what he would do. Luckily the True Alphas phone chimed in the moment, sending Mr. Yukimuras attention somewhere else.

"Scott, phones off." He mumbled, briefly glancing at the alpha before going back to the brunette who was still looking for an answer X "Malia? One of our greatest presidents?"
Gettysburg Address?"

Another pair of cellphones rang out, Bugs's own ringing in his pocket like his twins. They didn't get the chance to check the message as Mr. Yukimura once again yelled the school rule. "Phones off. Everyone. Malia? Does anyone else know?"

Another cellphone ringtone went off and Ken Yukimure lost his shit, "I said phones off!"

The class went dead silent, the only brave one being his own daughter, "Dad, that was yours."

He looked embarrassed before plucking his cellphone off his desk and reading the message, "Um... Scott, call Lydia."

20 minutes later and the trio of best friends stood inside the Vetrinary clinic, effectively ending the chances of a normal day at school. Now they stood and absorbed the information recently given to them by the strawberry blonde banshee and the ex emissary, now turned Vet.

Bugs couldn't believe what he had just been told, younger Derek had woken up a short while ago and attacked Deaton. He had crashed into Lydia while both of them watched a confused Derek run out of the Veterinary clinic. Now neither knew where he had gone.

"I don't think he's just younger in body. I think he's younger in his mind too," Deaton finished explaining.

"He didn't recognize either of us." Lydia sighs mid explanation. "And he looked like he was scared out of his mind."

"So if you're a teenage werewolf and you're scared, where do you go?" Stiles began to piece things in his mind.

"A wolf goes back to its den. But Derek lives in a loft." Scott detailed the wolf information.

"Not when he was a teenager." Bugs out on his detective cap and answered.

Lydia's eyes seemed to wander for a moment before springing with and answer, "The Hale House?"

"He wouldn't remember the fire. It wouldn't have happened yet." Deaton nodded.

Stiles, Scott, and Bugs turning around to go in search immediately. However Lydia halted them by grabbing onto the back of Stiles shirt.

"Hold on." She stated. "Say you do manage to catch up to him? What are you going to say to him? That his whole family is dead?"

Scott looked at either Stilinski, both shirting their shoulders. Trust be told Bugs was probably just going to tackle him and hope for the best.

Scott decided to just answer Lydia the best he could. "I guess I'm going to have to."

"Oh..." Lydia sassed, "Good luck with that."

Stiles agreed with Lydia, "She's probably right. Maybe you shouldn't. You know, at least until we figure out how to get him back to normal."

"And by normal we mean his regular homicidal, moody self. Maybe a little less normal Derek would be great," Bug continued.

Scott remembered one vital things, "I can't lie to him."

"Okay," Stiles, placing his shoulder over his slightly taller brother. "We'll do it."

"Yeah," Bugs snorts, "the Stilinski are great at lying. Dad still doesn't know where we were these past days."

"I don't think any of us can. Remember, he can hear a heartbeat rising. When we find him, we tell him the truth." Scott clarified for them.

"If he gets to the house first, you won't have to." Deaton reminded them, earning a dashing set of twins and one alpha.

Probably my favorite chapter title ever.

I'm sorry for taking forever to update this guys! I haven't really been concentrating so much on this! That's going to change real soon though because I've planned out Bugs a lot and well... it's gonna get interesting!

Not really sure if this is going to be a standalone or if I will continue this onto season 5 just yet. We shall see which route I take at the end of this season!
