Pilot III
"Alright," Coach Williams says. "Gordon, Murray, you're up next." I step up to the rope hanging from the ceiling, Tony walking up to the one to my right.
"Careful," Tony says. "Don't want that pretty face to get messed up." I grit my teeth, growling lowly.
"Wait," I say. "Do you mean mine or yours?" I smile. "Oh, wait! You don't have one." I turn back to the rope and wait for the buzzer. It goes off, and I grab the rope, pulling myself up. I keep my eyes trained on the bell at the top of the rope, getting closer by the second. I don't even bother using my feet to push myself up the rope. I reach out and ring the bell, smirking. I wrap my legs around the rope and lean away from it, letting go with one hand to face Tony as he reaches the top. He scowls at me as I just smile.
"H-How?" he asks, out of breath. "You're tiny." I growl, my smile turning upside down.
"Stronger than I look," I growl. "And don't say I'm tiny." I quickly half climb half slide down the rope and jump back onto the wooden floor, walking away before Tony can even reach the ground.

The next two stations are a piece of cake. Push ups and pull ups were literally what I did in my free time when I lived on the streets. The next station, however, I'm particularly looking forward to. Sparring. I'm looking forward to beating him up way too much. As I step up to the mat with Tony standing across from me, I crack my neck and knuckles. He's talking to some other guy.
"Hey, Tony," I say. He looks over at me. "Don't go too easy on me, alright?" He smiles, and it almost looks sincere. The buzzer goes off, and we just circle each other. Tony tilts his head in confusion.
"What're you waiting for?" he asks. I just smirk.
"Ladies first." He shakes his head and tries to punch me. I duck and punch him in the stomach. He stumbles backward, and I just smile. "You gonna stop going easy on me now?" He nods, and I smirk. "Good." He rushes forward, and I move out of the way just in time and shove him forward, making him stumble and almost fall.
"Come on, Tony!" I say. "You can do better than that!" He growls and swings a fist towards me, but I block him first and punch him in the stomach, making him double over. I elbow him in the back, and he falls to the ground, smacking his head on the wood. Blood drips down his face from a cut by his left eye.
"Come on, kid," I say. "I know you can do better than that." I walk toward him. As I step up beside him, he grabs my ankle and pulls me to the ground as he stands up. I stand up and face him, smiling. "Not bad. I guess I underestimated you, eh?" He shrugs. I swing a punch toward him, but he moves out of the way. Same on the other side. Smirking, I kick him in the knee, and he staggers backward before I give him an uppercut to the jaw.
He falls backward onto the ground, and I step on his stomach.
"Give up yet?" I ask. He pauses for a second, catching his breath, and nods. I smile and step off of him, walking away when Coach Elam tells me I can go change. I don't even bother to look back at Tony.

"Soooo," Allie says as we walk out of the school at three o'clock. "How was your class without me?" I groan.
"Tony Murray," I tell her," is a real pain in my ass." She laughs and nods.
"I'm pretty sure he's a pain in everyone's ass." I chuckle. "Don't worry about it. Eventually he'll find some other girl to pine after and he'll forget all about you." I let out a deep breath.
"I hope so." She smiles as we walk down the sidewalk, away from the school.
"So where are you going?" I groan.
"GCPD." Her eyes are wide.
"You're going to the police station?" I nod. "Why?"
"Because Jim and Barbara both have to work, and they thought I'd be bored at the art gallery." I think about it. "Come to think of it, I'd rather go to work with Jim than Barbara anyway...well, maybe." She nods.
"Jim's your adoptive dad?" I nod. "Why don't you call him your dad?" I sigh.
"Getting adopted isn't like what people think it is," I tell her. "Especially if you're not adopted young. I've been on my own for fifteen years. And now...I have a dad, but it's gonna take more than three days for me to get used to that." She nods as we approach the station.
"Well, madame," Allie says with a fake British accent. "This is where I leave you." I smile and curtsey, copying her accent.
"Why thank you, Miss."
I do not own Gotham or its characters. I do, however, own Cassie Gordon, Gracelyn Ventura, Ice, etc. so don't steal. It's not nice.
