I sat at the lunch table. Quiet and alone. I waited for the rest of the gang to arrive. It was weird sitting without them. I looked down at my lunch bag. Peaking in, to only see an apple and a note covering the front of it. I stared at it blankly. Suddenly someone sat in front of me. I looked up and saw Cory smiling.

"Hey Y/N," he said sheepishly.

"Hey. Cory," I replied seeming uninterested. "So how's your first day at Damson high going for ya?"

Cory looked up, seeming to think about the question. "Um...not my best," he said. "From being almost killed by another bully just like the last one at my school, and having boring classes. It was okay."

I looked up confused. "Wait. You got bullied at your other school too? What for?" I questioned now seeming more interested.

He tapped his camera face. I gave an 'Oh okay' face and then smiled. I knew what he was feeling.

"Being bullied isn't such a good thing." I said. "I absolutely hate people who do it. It's just annoying."

Cory nodded then scanned the cafeteria. I glanced around not seeing the rest of the gang at all.

"Where is everybody else anyway?" Cory asked.

"Well Simon usually takes forever at his locker fixing it up before he goes to lunch everyday. Tank I'm pretty sure he's just grabbing his lunch. His lockers on the other side of the school so it'll take him a little bit to get here, and Gertrude is buying lunch so yeah." I finished it up with a smile and turned to Cory who was still looking in the crowd.

"Well then it's just us two for a little bit then." He smiled.

"Ok then." I sat up straight and looked at him. "Ask me anything."

"What?" He asked not quite understanding what I just said.

"Ask me any question you want to know!" I said happily. "I'm an open book."

"Um ok. Same. You can ask me anything." Cory replied. "Well um. Where did Ched get the name Valentine for you?"

I rubbed the back of my neck feeling a little embarrassed. "Well..." I said. "About a year ago. He liked me. I was known for being the cute and innocent child of the school. He liked that and decided to ask me out. At the time I didn't know him very well and said yes. I just didn't want to hurt his feelings. He found out that my birthday was the day after Valentine's Day. So he decided to call me Valentine. After a while I found out that he bullied kids for fun and so I didn't like it. I left him and went with Simon, Gertrude and Tank. Then we formed the Swashbucklers."

I sighed and looked down. I didn't necessarily like telling that story but, it was only best to tell Cory anyway. I looked up at him. He seemed a little shocked then nodded.

"Wow. Y/N I'm sorry you went through that, but I'm glad you chose to be a good person," he smiled as he rubbed the back off his neck. "Also thanks for saving me again this morning. I thought I was actually gonna die until you came along."

"Your welcome, Cory. Swashbucklers stay together, right?" I held out my hand. He looked up, hesitated for a moment then took my hand. I shook it and he smiled. "Now. Tell me. Who was this person at your old school? The one who bullied you."

Cory rubbed the back of his neck again. Seeming more nervous to talk about the situation. "Um...his name was Brett Micheals. He bullied me all the time. I hated it." He looked down at his lunch. Staring at it blankly.

"And no one stood up for you?!" I asked confused.

"N...No...." He said quietly.

"That's terrible! Why I oughta! Ugh! I hate it!" I started to get a little frustrated.

"Heh. It's fine Y/N. He's gotta be long gone by now," he said looking up at me. I calmed down and breathed.

"Right right. Besides, that's in the past. Now all we have to do is worry about the future. Right?" I said.

"Right." Cory replied.

Ched: CAN IT MIKEY! OR YOU'LL BOTH BE GETTING ONE YOURSELVES AS WELL!

Tony: Right boss! Mikey shut up!

Mikey: Yeah shut up Mikey! Wait. I'm Mikey.

Ched: JUST GET HER YOU IDIOTS!!

Tony: Right boss! Come on Mikey! *runs towards Shelby*

Mikey: *follows*
