Chapter 24: Found out

“Each day I love you more, today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow.”

The photoshoot set was already prepared, Jungkook was also prepared but the main character wasn't in the set.

"Can we start now?" Namjoon inquired Jun.

"Ahm, not yet, V wasn't here. Do you perhaps see him somewhere?"  Jun retorted inquiring.

"Huh? No, I didn't see him." Namjoon replied confused.

"Aish, I hope he didn't escape, that boy really loves trouble." Jun groans.

Meanwhile, when Jungkook heard that, he leaves the set, finding V around the huge company. He went to the restroom, opening each stall. In the last stall, he saw V sitting while hugging his knees.

"What do you think you're doing? The shoot will start now." Jungkook started.

V looked at him, rolling his eyes, he really doesn't want to do the photoshoot. He was scared of what it'll come out, he was lack of confidence that's why he hid from the camera. He also doesn't understand why Jungkook acting like that, he's so mean.

"None of your business." V retorted.

"What do you mean none of my business? It's my business, don't be a brat, I'm a busy person too. I don't have time for your shit." Jungkook stated, clenching his jaw.

"Then leave me alone. I do what I want, go back to your house. Tell them I don't want to continue this!" V sassed.

"I don't have time for you, now let's go, come with me." Jungkook stated, grabbing V's hand.

He forced him to stands up but V squirmed.

"I told you, leave me alone! I don't need you! Don't you understand? Where's in my word you don't understand?!" V snarled pushing Jungkook away.

"Don't start a fight with me, my day is already ruined! I have to finish this!" Jungkook growled.

"I don't care! Go by yourself! Do I even call for you, huh? Do I even need you? Just leave me alone! You shouldn't care about me!" V yelled, gritting his teeth.

"What the heck is your problem?!" Jungkook asked solemnly.

"My problem? My problem is you! I told you to leave me alone but you are forcing me! If your day is ruined, don't blame it on me! I-I was trying to help you buh-but you are pushing me away! Wuh-what did I do to you! I helped you but you are a jerk!" V uttered, sniffling.

Jungkook was frozen, he saw the tears fall on V's eyes, he hates it, he doesn't want him to cry in front of him.

"I-if you think I lied to you, no, I-I told you my real name instead of V. Wuh-why are you doing this to me? Because of the kiss? I-I'm sorry, I-I didn't mean to kiss you." V cried.

"Please, stop crying, Even if I tell you, you won't understand me." Jungkook softly said when he felt his heart clenched.

"Tuh-then, leave me." V uttered going back inside the stall but Jungkook held his hand.

"I'm sorry, I'm not in a mood earlier that's why I acted like that. Please, stop crying." Jungkook uttered as his tears formed in his eyes.

"Huh-how can I stop myself if it hurts here? I-I can't stop, I-I'm scared." V sniffled.

"What's your real problem? Tell it to me." Jungkook inquired, feeling hurt.

V turns around, looking at him with teary eyes.

"You won't understand it." V replied wiping his tears.

"Let me understand, tell it to me." Jungkook stated, softly holding V's hand.

V felt it, he looks at Jungkook's hand, again, he felt the spark.

"I-I'm afraid." V mumbled, looking down.

"Afraid in what?" Jungkook asked confused.

"Muh-my fans wouldn't like me if I revealed my face. Tuh-they might hate me, I-I'm ugly." V stuttered, fidgeting his fingers.

"Don't you have a mirror? Look at yourself, you're beautiful, they will like you. Besides, they love you because of your voice and music, you don't have to worry about them." Jungkook told him.

V slowly looked up, a small pout forming on his lips.

"Buh-but, I'm still afraid. I-I'm sure, they also expected something about me. I'm afraid I can't give it to them." V sighed.

"It's okay, just think we're alone in the set. Don't think of anything, just look at me, only me." Jungkook stated.

"How could you say that? You hate me." V pouted.

"You're right, I hate you, but I have a reason." Jungkook replied.

"You won't tell me?" V asked.

"No." Jungkook replied.

"Are you sure?" V teased.

"You look like him." Jungkook smiled sadly.

"Who's him?" V asked curiously.

"The person I liked." Jungkook soughed.

"Oh, I see." V mumbled.

"Let's go, you have to redo your make-up." Jungkook stated, dragging V out of the bathroom.

The photoshoot went well, V obeying what Jungkook told him to pose.

"You did a good job." Jungkook praised as he looked at the gallery of his camera.

"Thank you." V smiled a little.

"Thank you, Jungkook, hope to see you again." Jun smiled.

"I'll go now." Jungkook bowed his head.

Namjoon also smiled at them, following Jungkook. He got inside the car while Jungkook set his camera in the trunk.

"Jungkook" V called out his name.

Jungkook looked at him, he was about to speak but interrupted when V gave a peck on his cheeks.

"Thank you again, I hope that helps you to lessen your stress. Have a good day." V started, his cheeks burning while running away from Jungkook.

Jungkook touched his right cheeks where V kissed him. A small smile tugs on his lips, watching V.

"You're still beautiful" Jungkook murmured.

"Jungkook, are you done? Let's go." Namjoon yelled inside the car.

"Cum--coming hyung." Jungkook shooked his head as he got inside the car.

For some reason, his heart was feeling warm.

"Hyung, is there no earthquake that happened a year ago?" Jungkook suddenly asked.

"What earthquake? Where?" Namjoon asked curiously.

"Here, August 9, 2020, maybe around afternoon." Jungkook replied.

"As far as I remember, there's no earthquake happening around that month since I'm having a party during that time." Namjoon retorted.

"What about shooting star? Comet?" Jungkook asked once again.

"Jungkook, there's no shooting star in the afternoon. It occurs from 7:00 pm to 4:00 am." Namjoon responded.

Jungkook paused, so that means, the mystery starts when he saw the shooting star. It's not a coincidence, Taehyung even told him about that. It looks like he was destined to see and meet Taehyung at that time and makes him realize that the person he hates in his current life was the one for him even in the past.
