Chapter 4: Meet

“Where you are is where I want to be.”

Jeongguk was reading some novels since he can't fall asleep. His servant was far from him that's why he can't help but think about his servant.

"Prince, Queen Hailey is here to visit you." Eunuch Oh exclaimed from the outside.

The elegant wooden door has opened revealing the Queen.

"What's the purpose of you doing here, Majesty?" Jeongguk asked looking at his mother.

They didn't have a good relationship as mother and son since the Queen hated the scar on his face.

"I'm here to confront you for what you did earlier, it's shameful." Queen Hailey stated.

"Why, Majesty? Did I do something wrong earlier?" Jeongguk asked uninterestedly.

"Yes, you did. First, you brought that servant during the gathering. He shouldn't come with you that time." Queen Hailey started.

"Majesty, he's my servant, and I only can decide what he needs to do." Jeongguk defense.

"You have a point but calling him beautiful in front of beautiful princesses is such a shame." Queen Hailey added.

"If I'm not wrong, a prince like me shouldn't lie and besides, I wasn't lying when I told them that no one can't beat my servant's beauty." Jeongguk grinned.

"Are you hearing yourself right now? Are you in your right mind? Beautiful? Servant? He's a lower rank, he's the one who can't beat those princesses." Queen Hailey stated.

"That's your opinion, your majesty. I looked fair to those people surrounding me. If you think he's lower than us, that's your problem." Jeongguk retorted.

"I didn't raise you to act like that." Queen Hailey grumbled.

"You never raised me, majesty. Not even once, you don't still know who I am." Jeongguk replied.

"I will make that servant leave this palace, you will choose a princess whether you like it or not. I will find someone to change for his position." Queen Hailey groaned while gritting her teeth.

Her servants and eunuch widened their eyes when the prince suddenly pulled out his sword and pointed the tip on the Queen's neck.

"You have no rights to do that, he's mine and my property, I am the only one who can decide to him. If you still want my respect then know what you need to do." Jeongguk sternly said glaring at her.

"Queen, it's better to leave him alone. He seems in rage." Her servant mumbled to her ear.

"You'll regret this, I'll show you how much you will regret doing this to me." Queen Hailey venomously said.

She turned and leave the prince's place. While she was walking in the hallway, she accidentally met Taehyung who was coming with a tray of food in his hands. Taehyung stopped when he noticed her, he kept his head low to show respect to her. He heard her footsteps going towards him.

"You low rank, look at me." Queen Hailey ordered with seriousness.

Taehyung hesitantly looked at her with nervous eyes. She examined him as if she was disgusted by his looks.

"I wonder why the prince was defending you and called you beautiful. You are seriously ugly like your ranks." Queen Hailey uttered rolling her eyes.

She started to walk not forgetting to bump her shoulder to Taehyung. Taehyung swallowed down, he didn't expect that the Queen will speak like that to him. He shrugged it off and went to the prince's room.

"Prince, here's your food. You need to eat before you go to sleep." Taehyung uttered setting down the food on the prince's table.

Jeongguk was staring at him every second.

"What's the matter, my servant?" Jeongguk asked noticing that his servant seemed to be upset.

"It's nothing my prince, I was just thinking of something." Taehyung uttered trying to smile.

"Did you perhaps meet the Queen in your way?" Jeongguk suddenly asked.

"Y-yes, prince." Taehyung replied.

"Did she say something to you?" Jeongguk asked.

Taehyung bit his bottom lip, he wants to be silent instead of answering his question.

"I'm asking you what did she say to you?" Jeongguk asked once again.

"Nuh-nothing my prince." Taehyung lied.

"Taehyung!" Jeongguk exclaimed making Taehyung flinched.

"Look at me and tell me what she did to you before I lost my control and kill her." Jeongguk exclaimed sending a shiver through Taehyung's spine.

"She just called me ugly, and I'm not mad about it because she's saying the truth. I don't have a right to get mad." Taehyung replied sighing that he didn't stutter.

The prince stood up, kneeling in front of Taehyung, and held his cheeks.

"Nonsense, she's just jealous because she can't accept that no one can beat your beauty." Jeongguk stated.

"But prince..."

"You don't need to listen to her. You are the most beautiful human alive and no one should compare you to others. They are stupid if they think you're ugly." Jeongguk stated.

"Princ--"

Taehyung didn't finish his sentence when the prince pulled out his mask and kissed him. Taehyung widened his eyes, he was shocked and nervous at the same time. He tapped the prince's shoulder trying to stop him but he felt an arm around his waist, pulling him closer.

"Prince, what are you doing?" Taehyung asked with wide eyes when he pulled away.

"I'm doing what's right, you can't stop your mouth for saying nonsense." Jeongguk replied.

"Y-you shouldn't do that, this is wrong." Taehyung said nervously.

Yet, the prince grabbed his waist closer again.

"Why? Are you afraid someone might catch us?" Jeongguk snickered.

"Prince, I think you're hungry. You should better eat, you're not in your right mind." Taehyung uttered, looking away to avoid the prince's stare.

He wants to get away but the prince was pulling him closer, stopping him to move at least a bit.

"And that's your fault, my servant." Jeongguk huskily said.

Taehyung gasped when he felt Jeongguk's lips on his once again. It seems the prince wasn't hesitating and he know what he was doing. Jeongguk pushed his tongue inside of Taehyung's wet cavern while Taehyung shut his eyes and clutched to Jeongguk's hanbok, hoping that he was dreaming. He didn't even notice that Jeongguk slowly laying him down on the mattress.
