Chapter 6: Leave

“I like the way you make me feel even when I’m nowhere near.”

Taehyung was so curious that he didn't even notice what he said.

"Did I hear it right? You called me handsome?" Jeongguk teased and smirked.

Taehyung felt his cheeks heated once again.

"Prince, stop teasing me. Just answer my question." Taehyung uttered slightly pouting.

Jeongguk giggled, removing his mask, and looked at Taehyung.

"I have a scar, a prince like me shouldn't have a scar. And they told me it's better to hide my ugly face and to protect me." Jeongguk uttered.

"But prince, you're not ugly. It's just a scar, I can barely see it. I didn't even notice it last night." Taehyung stated.

"Are you talking about my face or about what happened last night?" Jeongguk snickered.

"I told you, prince, stop teasing me." Taehyung pouted.

"I'm sorry, I can't help it. What happened last night was a precious thing that ever happened in my life." Jeongguk uttered.

"What do you mean by precious? That's dangerous, what if someone caught us last night?" Taehyung muttered.

"Then, I will protect you. Besides, I'm sure you also like it." Jeongguk snickered.

"Prince, I felt shameful after that. I shouldn't have been here. I'm sorry, I should stop that time." Taehyung mumbled while looking down on his lap.

"Why are you sorry? I do like what happened last night, stop worrying about that, please." Jeongguk said, lifting Taehyung's chin with his fingers.

Taehyung looked at him with obvious hesitation in his eyes while Jeongguk was staring at him as if he was assuring everything will be fine. Jeongguk looked down on his lips then back to his eyes. Jeongguk was going approximately close to Taehyung's face while Taehyung was gulping down nervously.

His lips pressed on Taehyung's soft ones, Taehyung closed his eyes letting the prince devour his lips.

"Prince, princess Myun is here to visit you." Eunuch oh yelled from the outside.

Taehyung's eyes widened, pushing the prince away who rolled his eyes. He immediately stood up far from the prince while lowering his head. Jeongguk wore his mask. The wooden door was opened revealing the beautiful princess. When Myun got inside, Taehyung slowly disappeared from the place.

Taehyung sighed in relief while touching his heart that was beating so fast due to nervousness.

"Servant Taehyung, Queen Hailey was looking for you." Eunuch Han uttered when he approached Taehyung.

Taehyung bit his bottom lips, nodding his head and following him through the Queen's location. Eunuch Han opened the wooden door, Taehyung saw the Queen sitting on her throne. He knelt down in front of her.

"Queen, may I know what's your purpose of calling me here?" Taehyung asked trying not to stutter.

"You have to leave this palace without the prince knowing. If you are worried about your position, don't worry, someone is already prepared to be in your position. The next day, I don't want to see you roaming around this palace. That's my order." Queen Hailey stated.

Taehyung was taken aback by her words. He didn't expect that will come.

"You just need to leave, Eunuch Han will help you to go to the place where the prince couldn't find you. I hope you understand my order, servant." Queen Hailey added.

"I...I understand, Queen." Taehyung replied.

"That's good, you can start packing up everything you have. Princess Myun will distract the prince until you left, you can start now." Queen Hailey said.

Taehyung stood up, bowing to her. He left her cabin with unbeknownst feelings. He felt his heart tighten after hearing what the Queen told him. But maybe the Queen already knows what happened to them. But he guesses, it's better to leave the palace rather than to stay there.

"Prince, do you want to go outside. The weather is nice, I think it's good to walk around this palace." Princess Myun offered with a smile.

"I don't think I can walk a--"

"That's a good idea, princess Myun. Why don't you go outside for a while, prince? You have been staying inside your cabin, it's better to leave and talk with princess Myun." Queen Hailey interrupted the prince's word.

"Okay, come on." Jeongguk sighed, standing up and leaving first not waiting for the princess.

Princess Myun follows him afterward.

"Prince, I heard you are close with your servant. I wonder if I can meet him." Princess Myun started while they were walking near the stream.

"He's busy, his work loaded, please don't add his work anymore." Jeongguk simply replied.

"That's not what I mean, prince, I just want to know what you like so you can be comfortable with me." Princess Myun explained.

"Still, you'll go to distract him to his work. He's a servant and we both know that he'll listen to whatever you say to him. Besides, he's my servant, I don't want him to serve anyone." Jeongguk stated with a bit stern voice.

"I'm sorry, my prince." Princess Myun muttered.

"Are you already done? I want to go to my cabin." Jeongguk sighed.

"Can't you just stay with me? I'm still not familiar with this place. I want to see more beautiful places here."  Princess Myun replied.

"Go with your servants, that's not my duty." Jeongguk retorted.

"Please, prince, it's better to be with you. I can talk with you but I can't do that with my servants." Princess Myun said and held Jeongguk's wrist.

Jeongguk sighed in annoyance, yanking her hands away.

"Fine, don't you dare to hold my hand." Jeongguk replied.

He walks away once again whole Princess Myun can't help but smile knowing that she'll be able to stay with the prince. She was confident that she can get the prince's heart. However, Jeongguk was thinking about Taehyung. He should already arrive and serve him but he already took too long.

He was wondering where is his servant and what is he doing right now. For some reason, he felt something was wrong happening right now.
