2.
Three days.
Yet the young Wolf Blood gave no signs of awakening.
Alice stood by his bed, silently watching over him like a guardian angel.
The dwarves had not been happy about the unexpected guest.
Wolf Bloods and dwarves had a history behind them that didn't end well.
The Wolf Blood before her was now in human form.
Long brown hair that barely reached his shoulders, his eyes hidden behind his closed eyelids.
"Please wake up wolf. I need you." Alice begged, reaching over the white sheets of his bed to softly touch his hand.
Alice didn't even seem to notice as the wooden doors with red gems emanating a soft light opened behind her to reveal Ukthär, king of dwarves.
Ukthär nodded his head towards his subjects and they all departed the room, closing the doors behind them with a small thud.
"Alice" he spoke, his voice grave.
Alice took in a shaky breath before turning around to curtsy before the king.
"King Ukthär" she acknowledged.
King Ukthär was old, almost ancient.
His hair was white along with his long beard.
Wrinkles covered his face and yet the old king stood strong.
"The council of elders would like to speak with you" his voice was grave.
In all honesty, Alice still had a small fear of the King for she found him intimidating with his armour and mighty ax notwithstanding the kindness shown towards her.
"Yes sire" was her reply before she stood, letting her long blonde hair cascade down her back in thick locks as she straightened out the wrinkles on her baby blue dress before following the King towards his throne room.

"...yet you thought it wise to bring this... This... Abomination! In our sanctuary specifically built to keep him, and his kind, out! It's outrageous!" Scolded Frükth.
"I-I meant no harm sir. I just-" Alice tried to explain while holding back her tears but got interrupted by Avrkënda.
"Silence! You have insulted our hand of friendship extended towards you! There is no valid excuse! The leaders of our clans will arrive tomorrow so I suggest you start pa-"
"Enough, Avrkënda!" Roared the king, standing up abruptly.
"The leaders of clans will arrive tomorrow, yes. But I am still king and I give the orders. You would do well to remember your place.
You are all dismissed.
Alice, stay."
The guards opened the doors so that the council could dissolve and each of it's members could retire to they're separate rooms.
Just then Queen Miogtha made her entrance. She had been announcing the news to they're people.
Her short ebony hair swished as she took a seat besider her king.
"Alice..."
King Ukthär trailed off as Alice burst into tears.
"I... I wanna go home! I want my mommy! Where's papa?!" Alice continued to weep and Miogtha came over to the poor girl to rub comforting circles on her back.
"There, there. Everything will be alright"
"Could you accompany her to her chambers?"
The queen nodded in response and gently guided the princess out of the throne room.
