Soo-Yoon nervously looks around at the people around her. Many looked rich while others looked like hoodlums. Amias made her call Edith and tell the girl to stay out late and not come back to the apartment. It was hard to keep her voice straight while calling her friend with a man pointing a gun to her temple. Then after that he just decided to make the night worse for her. Amias' yelled at Soo-Yoon on how her outfit was low-class. He then does something unpredictable.

            Amias went out into the halls and came back with woman knocked out. Soo-Yoon could only stare horrified as he takes the dress off the woman and throws it to her, demanding her to change into the dress.

            Is putting woman unconscious a daily routine for him?!

            “Hey, stop fidgeting. You're going to get attention,” He growls to her.

            Soo-Yoon mumbles out a sorry and keeps her head to the ground. He hasn't told her what the rest of the plans are yet, just to make it so Edith stays with Matthew. Amias' says Matthew has to be here for tonight, which makes her worry over her friend. What if she gets into trouble? That's the last thing she wants.

            From next to her Amias' phone rings. He picks it up and answers with a gruff 'what'. Soo-Yoon looks towards him as he continues to listen. Amias then closes his phone and looks down towards her.

            “Fields has entered the hotel with another girl, auburn hair and brown eyes. I'm assuming that's your friend.”

            “Yeah, that's her.”

            That grin comes back onto his face as he looks down on her.

            “I feel a beautiful partnership between us.”

            She doesn't!

            Amias leads her to the exit of the bar and back out into the hall. He calls someone again and continues to talk to them for a while. He soon shuts his phone and turns back to Soo-Yoon.

            “Fields lead your friend to a hotel room on the seventh floor, he's now coming up here for the announcement.”

            What was the point in wanting to bring Edith here? If Matthew was just going to come back up here wouldn't it have been better for Edith to just be at the dorms. Actually, why is she still here then? So far she hasn't done anything! Soo-Yoon sighs and continues to stand next to Amias, waiting for anything else to happen. She just really wants to go home and forget any of this happened.

            “There he is!” A person shouts out.

            Both Amias and Soo-Yoon turn around to see Matthew walk into the bar. He waves to everyone with a smile on his face. Soo-Yoon begins to bit on her lower lip, what if he recognizes her? Wouldn't that ruin everything? She felt herself get nervous as Matthew walks near to where she and Amias are. This time he has a woman on his arm, Soo-Yoon guesses this must be Bianca.

            Once Matthew sees Amias' he smirks and walks up to him.

            “I really can't believe you actually came, 'Mad-Dog'!” He says.

            Soo-Yoon was a little bit weary. The smirk was still on his face as he almost was looking down on Amias. Amias' lip was twitching as he tried to smile, but his voice comes out not amused.

            “Can't really say no to your invitation when two of your dogs tried to chase me down today.”

            She can almost feel the hatred both of them have for each-other. She was pretty sure she just saw some sparks fly between their exchange of glares. Matthew scoffs and looks away from Amias and finally takes a notice of Soo-Yoon. His body immediately tenses as he sees her.

            “What are you-?” He whispers out.

            Amias' mocking grin appears as he puts his hand on Soo-Yoon's shoulder.

            “Oh, you know her? What a surprise, I ran into her today too.” There was definetly a small laugh she heard at the end of his sentence.

            Matthew's eyes begin to flick from Soo-Yoon to Amias. She could see he was sweating, realizing what Amias might know. He then pulls away from Bianca and tries to fight on a smile to them three.

            “I need some air. If you'll excuse me,” He says it in a rush as he tries to walk out to the exit of the bar.

            Amias glares at his form and looks to a person at the other side of the room. In an instant Matthew is grabbed by a man gets pushed back to where Amias and Bianca are. He tries to escape from the person's grip.

            “Get your hands off me! Amias, what is going on!?”

            Amias steps forward with a grin plastered on his face. He then beckons for a person next to him and they bring out a photograph. He takes the picture and shows it to Matthew. The man's eyes widen at the picture of him leading Edith to one of the hotel's rooms. Bianca stutters over the photo.

            “Matthew, who is that?”

            “I-It's no one! Just a woman I helped into her room!”He tries to sound convincing, but his stutter and panic filled eyes betray his words.

            “Oh? Just a woman, I doubt a guy would put their hands on a chick's ass if they're 'just' a woman.” Amias' grin grows, almost looking as if it'll split his face.

            “We're engaged, Matthew! How could you even think of cheating?” Bianca's yell is close to a shrill shriek.

            “Who are you going to believe? Your fiance or this trash!” Matthew fights back.

            Bianca had tears in her eyes as she continues to argue with him. The woman finally breaks down and runs out from the bar. From all around people were whispering about the two while others had their phones out, probably gossiping about the current event that just enfolded.

            “Bianca!”

            Matthew escapes the man's grip and tries to run after the woman. Amias growls and reaches forward to snatch the man's collar, he brings up Matthew's face up to his own.

            “You still have one thing to do for me,” He says while bringing his face closer. “Tell that other girl you're whoring with about your fiance.”

            Matthew grinds his teeth together while trying to pull away.

            “Why should I follow a damn word you say!” He spits out.

            “Because marrying into Bianca's family was the only way to get a higher power. Now that everyone knows about your secret, I can make you disappear and no one would care.”

            Matthew was now shaking in Amias' grip, knowing that he would carry out the threat without any mercy.

            Soo-Yoon stands where she still was, not believing the scene. Is that why he wanted Edith to be here when everyone found out about Matthew? Or maybe she's just thinking too much into this. This is 'Mad-Dog' after all, he probably doesn't have any regret about any of his actions. Having Matthew tell Edith about his fiance is probably just more grief to make the man go through.

            But, somehow there was a part of her that said Amias' didn't want Matthew to continue playing with her friend's heart.

            “Hey, Chink! Start moving!”

            She takes it all back.

            It was the next morning and a Sunday. Soo-Yoon was the first to wake up and began her studying at the kitchen table. A full day and she wasn't able to look at her books once! She is one day behind on her schedule! Maybe she should take an extra day on cram school, but then she wouldn't get any sleep!

            The door to a room opens and Edith walks out with huge bags under her eyes. Which was a very strange sight as the girl usually is always perfect without makeup. Soo-Yoon tries to put on a bright smile for the girl.

            “G-Good morning! How are you today?” She says, trying to sound as bright as possible.

            The girl continues to walk to the bathroom with no response. Soo-Yoon flinches as she sees Edith run into the wall before correcting her walking and goes into the bathroom. Once the door is shut Soo-Yoon groans and slams her head on the table. Edith is totally out of it! She can't help but to blame herself, maybe she should have let things go the way they were. But, how long would it have been before Edith found out about Matthew's cheating?

            After Amias' got Matthew to go down and talk to Edith, he told Soo-Yoon she could go home. She got to her dorm room and didn't hear Edith come back until two in the morning, and the girl was drunk. Soo-Yoon was surprised the girl was able to open the door or even walk up the stairs with how intoxicated she was. The worst part was Edith was crying the whole time and Soo-Yoon had to help her get to bed and calm down. From the way she's acting right now, it looks like Edith is still crushed.

            “Soo-Yoon, have you seen my lace socks?”

            “I think they were, -What's wrong with your face?!” Soo-Yoon almost topples over her chair when Edith walks out of the bathroom.

            The girl's face was a wreck! Also, what was wrong with her clothes and makeup? The left eye makeup didn't even match the right! She blinks and brings a hand up to her face.

            “I was just trying out a new style.”

            . . .

            . . .

            “I-I'm going to the library.”

            Soo-Yoon glares at all the books in front of her. Even though she's been staring at all the words and exercises for an hour, she can't pay attention! Altight, she got the issue of Edith out of her head. But, now she keeps thinking of Amias' cut string! What if that is her string? Then, if she figures out how to put it together, all other people's strings will stop getting knots and tangle. Here's the problem though.

            She doesn't want to believe he's apart of her string of fate!

            If there is one thing Amias is incapable of, she's pretty sure it's affection! He knocked out a woman and took off her clothes without even a slight amount of guilt! But, there's also the issue of him having a second string. Maybe, he really isn't part of her string if there's another one on his finger. Soo-Yoon groans and puts her head on the table. Midterms are coming up, why did all her problems have to suddenly appear now. She can't contact her grandmother, mostly because she has no idea where the woman is and her mother would scream at her for asking.

            She stands up and begins to gather the books on the table. Might as well get home and try to comfort Edith. She returns the books to the isle it was in, but while there she hears a rustling. Soo-Yoon turns around and she nearly jumps. From behind her there was a huge person, her eyes look him up and down. Was he a delinquent? He was almost bigger than Amias! The person turns around and glances at Soo-Yoon, for some reason he was holding his stomach.

            “E-Excuse me, do you know where there would be books on cats?” He asks in a timid voice.

            Well, at least he seems nice. But, with his huge build and sharp features, she was expecting him to act like Amias.

            “Sorry, I don't know.”

            “Okay, thanks.”

            He goes to walk past her, but then he yelps and clutches at his stomach. Soo-Yoon jumps as something begins to move inside his shirt. He then begins to pat different spots on his shirt, the object in his shirt then moves up to come out of his collar revealing . . . a kitten.

            His face blushes a dark red, which was a strange sight on a huge man. He quickly pushes the hissing kitten back into his shirt before running down the isle and out the library.

            Why does she keep encountering all these strange people?

            Soo-Yoon quickly puts all the books in her hands away before exiting the library. That was just really strange. But, she'll just pass it off as one of those people she'll never run into again. She should be paying attention on Edith again. Soo-Yoon isn't the best with treating heart-break since she's never been through the event.

            She lifts up her broken string. What would her life be like if her string was never cut? Maybe she would be having a relationship and not pay attention to studies as much. Her grandmother did say the reason why her parents got a divorce is because of her broken string. Does that mean if her string is reattached all people's relationship problems will be solved? Even her parents?

            Her thoughts were interrupted as a car screeches to a stop next to her and the door slams open. Her blood runs cold at who it is in the car.

            Amias sends her a hard glare from inside.

            “Get in.”

            She felt she didn't have a choice again.
