"How was practice?" Yoongi asked as Taehyung ran towards him. He had only been sitting there for thirty minutes, having nothing else to do. He did walk around the mall as he waited, but it honestly got too tiring.
Tae smiled at the question and looked back behind him to another boy— the boy that Yoongi watched him joke around with.
"Jungkook taught me how to tackle better." Taehyung smiled as he wrapped his hand around Yoongi's. "I tackled Jiminie and he got mad at me." He giggled as he remembered.
Yoongi's eyebrow raised as he looked at the small boy. This Jimin boy must be really small if he's easily taken down by Taehyung— but then again, he is a little werewolf.
"Go easy on people, Tae." He chuckled.
"No!" Taehyung pouted. "I want to show Jungkookie that I can be like him!"
"Like him??"
"Yeah. He's strong." Tae smiled.
Yoongi eyed the candy shop as they approached it slowly, and he thought about going in again, but Taehyung made up his mind by reaching for the door handle.
"More!" Tae ran inside.
The older had no time to stop him as he ran for a different candy this time. He sighed softly as he smelled the same scent from earlier this morning— a scent not in the other store.
"Tae, your mom will kill me if I let you have any more candy." Yoongi stated.
His whole entire body was growing weak at the scent and he didn't know if it was good or bad, but it for sure was affecting him.
"Hey!" A familiar voice came from the other side of the room. Next thing Yoongi knew, the scent was stronger than ever and there was now a slightly shorter man next to him.
"Yes?" Yoongi questioned.
"You never let me thank you earlier." The boy said. He held out his hand, wanting Yoongi to take it, and so he did. "I'm Jimin. If you ever want free candy for your son—"
"He's not my son." Yoongi chuckled.
Jimin looked at him with wide eyes. "Well, if he ever wants candy, it'll be my pleasure to allow him whatever he wants." He bowed, but as he did so, he knocked over a tub of gum, embarrassing himself for a second time.
Yoongi watched as Jimin panicked, turning red as he picked up the candy in the floor.
He bent down and started helping him. The scent was now obviously coming from Jimin, and Yoongi felt drunk being so close to it.
"You smell so good." He stated.
Jimin looked up at him, just now realizing that he was even behind him with candy in his hands. "T-Thank you." He stuttered.
Yoongi blinked dumbly once he realized what he had said. He turned his eyes away, not wanting to make awkward eye contact.
"Can I have a piece?" Tae suddenly appeared in front of the two with another candy in hand. "Also, can I have this, Yooni?" He asked.
Yoongi nodded.
"Yooni?" Jimin asked.
"My name is Yoongi." Yoongi smiled at Jimin and put the candy back in the tub.
Jimin nodded. "Well, thank you for.. everything, Yoongi." He said as he stood up. "And as I was saying.. your..."
"Taehyung, my little cousin."
"Yes, okay." Jimin snapped and sent Yoongi the prettiest smile he's ever seen. "Taehyung can have any candy he wants. Any time."
Tae's eyes brightened. "So I can have that piece of gum?" He asked Jimin.
Jimin nodded and handed him the wrapped gum piece. "Don't let your mom kill Yoongi, though." He giggled, remembering the conversation that Yoongi and Tae had when they were first walking in.
Tae giggled as well as he took the candy.
"Thank you! I'll save Yooni from mom!"
Jimin smiled at the boy before looking back to Yoongi. "Have a great day." He said as he adjusted his jacket that was too big on him.
"You too."

Now, Yoongi wasn't planning on getting hooked on that lovely smell that came from Jimin. No. Not at all. He kept finding himself wanting to walk to the candy store just to smell him again, but there's no reason to go....
Unless it's for Taehyung.
"Please~" Yoongi whined like a five year old to his aunt, who was refusing to give up Tae.
"If you want a child so bad, then go have one!" She scratched behind Tae's new ears.
Yoongi groaned. "Not in a million years."
"Then just go to the candy shop." His aunt shrugged. "You shouldn't be embarrassed."
"Yeah, don't be embarrassed!" Tae smiled. "Jimin is going to be there with you."
Yoongi's aunt raised an eyebrow, but before she could say anything, Yoongi ran away. He hadn't mentioned why he wanted to go to the candy store for real. He told her that he just wanted butterscotch, not to see Jimin.
Fine.
He doesn't need Tae to go with him.
He'll go in all alone.
He sighed and sucked it up as he pulled on the door handle to the familiar shop.
"Hi, welcome— oh, hi!" Jimin smiled once he realized that Yoongi had walked in.
Yoongi felt his whole body being drawn near that scent that had him since day one. Hell, he basically ran to the register and it even kind of confused Jimin when he came in like that.
"I- I'm here for.. butterscotch candy." Yoongi grabbed a handful of the candy and set it down on the counter in front of Jimin, hoping that he was going to buy his little lie.
"Are you sure Tae needs this much?"
Yoongi looked down at the amount of candies that he had and bit his lip as he put half of them back. "Maybe not.." He mumbled.
He watched as Jimin started to add up the amount that he needed to pay, but he didn't want to leave so early. He just got here.
"Actually, can you.. uh, recommend some other candy for him?" Yoongi said so quickly that he wasn't even sure if he had said it.
Jimin nodded and looked around to see that no customers were in here besides Yoongi, so he stepped away from the register.
"Butterscotch is really tasty." He stated as he walked towards a section of candy. "But these little strawberry taffies are really popular with the kids." He pulled out a piece of taffy.
Yoongi nodded as he took the candy from Jimin, and then they made eye contact. They both quickly looked away, though, realizing how shy they suddenly got by the other.
"Or," Jimin raised up his small finger and pointed to another section of candy. He walked over, Yoongi following him, but he didn't see the bucket in the floor and fell back on it.
Yoongi was quick to catch him, but the wolf inside of him was quick to start screaming like it wanted to come out now, which was dangerous in general. Yoongi didn't know why, but he's pretty sure he has an idea.
He looked into Jimin's eyes and saw how wide they were, and Yoongi was glad he had contacts in to hide the fact that his eyes were changing colors. Jimin's eyes softened as he looked up at Yoongi, and he removed himself from his arms even if Yoongi lingered on him.
"T-Thank you. I didn't see the.. bucket."
Yoongi was still in shock at the feeling of Jimin in his arms. It felt like he was made to hold him, protect him, keep him there.
He blinked at Jimin, making things awkward. He didn't know what to say at this point. He's one thousand percent sure what's going on now. Jimin has to be his mate, right?
Is Jimin a werewolf?
He doesn't seem like one.. He doesn't have that type of scent. There's no way.
"Are you a human?" He suddenly asked.
Jimin's eyes widened as he picked up a long piece of candy, and he looked at Yoongi.
"Huh?" He asked.
Yoongi felt like a complete idiot for asking that. He didn't think about an explanation if he actually was a human and not werewolf.
"I- I mean, you're so clumsy that there's no way you can be human." He chuckled, trying to play it off. "You must be a broken robot.."
Jimin giggled as he looked at the floor in defeat. "I'm not usually this clumsy."
"Every time we see each other, something embarrassing happens." Yoongi stated. "We must be cursed." He chuckled as he took the candy from Jimin's hand.
Jimin shrugged. "More like I'm cursed."
Yoongi smiled at him as he carefully walked back to his register and calculated the candy.
"Is this all?" Jimin asked.
"Yes.." Yoongi nodded.
"This is a lot of candy.." Jimin tilted his head as he looked up at Yoongi. "Are you sure?"
He nodded again. "I like candy, too."
Jimin chuckled as he put the candy in a little bag and gave it to Yoongi. "You don't look like the type to like candy." He stated.
Yoongi huffed. "I love butterscotch." He said as he laid too much money on the counter. "Keep the change. You deserve it." He smiled.
Jimin tried to convince him to take it back, but he ended up leaving, winning the debate on whether he deserved the money or not.
He doesn't usually deal much with his wolf side. His mother and father never cared much for it either, but now he feels like this is something that he needs to ask about..
And so he will.
He's going to ask someone about this.
Is Jimin his mate? Can his mate be a human? Same sex? How the hell does this wolf life even work? Why didn't he take the chance to learn about all of this when he was younger?
Min Yoongi must be the world's most least educated werewolf. Why couldn't he just be a human? He might as well be one, right?
But he's not.
And he never can be.
