𝙿𝚎𝚛𝚜𝚘𝚗𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚝𝚢: Brand is quiet, almost the stereotype of a quiet kid. He doesn't have many friends and doesn't get along with authority. Because he is so quiet and usually dismissed he knows so much gossip and many secrets, Brand isn't too interested in sharing them but will if only to prove himself right. 

𝙱𝚊𝚌𝚔𝚐𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚍: Brand grew up in Silence Falls. His mom had grown up here and her parents before her. Their family had run the town bar, the Irish Tavern, ever since Brand's great grandparents had come over from Ireland. 

Thus Brand grew up around loud drunk people, spilling their secrets. He began writing them down when he was 11 or 12 and has a three-ringed-binder with the information he has been told under confidence or when people don't know he's there. When he reached Highschool his binder grew to include his classmates and their secrets that they think he doesn't hear about. 

He likes his anonymity but also hates that people don't see him.
