Welcome! This is a brief intro for my new book, Call Me Vi! This will be my entry for ONC 2024, and it will be my first ever time participating!

**Please Note: This story was first written in February 2024, several months before Hurricane Helene struck Western North Carolina. The hurricane hit Asheville, NC (where most of the book takes place) along with several other places in Western NC, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Florida.

The Omni Grove Park Inn is a real place in Asheville, NC. My hope is to one day visit the inspiration in-person, but I know the area is still healing and will be for a long time to come. That all said, my heart goes out to every single person, family, and business affected by this hurricane.

I will be posting a link for anyone who wants to donate to the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund.
