The waves were hitting the rocks on shore crearing a peaceful sound which was combined with the birds singing.

Luffy was sitting on the cliff, crying while his face was covered by his straw hat that he got from Shanks.

A few days ago, he got the news that his older brother, Sabo died.

At first he didn't wanted to believe it, hell, he doesn't want to believe it now. But there is no going back now. His brother died and there is nothing to do.

Ace slowly walked towards Luffy. When he was next to Luffy, he took a deep breath and then punched Liffy in the head.

"How long are you gonna keep moping?" Ace asked as he turned his attention to the ocean.

Luffy only clutched his straw hat tighter in response.

Ace sighed and then continued.

"All our treasure from Middle Forest is gone. Maybe it was found by one of the survivors from Bluejam's either the military found it. Either way, it doesn't matter anymore. That money that we gather me and Sabo was for our Pirate Funds but in the end Sabo didn't use it, so I won't bother with it either. There's no point gathering tresure that we can't look after."

Luffy sniffed and started to cry once again, hearing his brother was no longer with them.

"A-ace" Luffy called out for his brother, as Ace turned his full attention to him.

"I want to get stronger, stronger and stronger, stronger, stronger, stronger and stronger, stronger, more stronger than I was! So I will be able to protect anything, and so I won't have to lose anyone I ever care about! So, Ace, please... Don't die." Luffy cried.

"Don't be ridiculous!" Ace said while punching Luffy once again in the head. "You should be more worried about yourself! You're more weaker than I am!"

Luffy stood up next to Ace, still hiding his face with his hat, not wanting to show his brother that he was crying.

"Sabo made that request aswell. So lisen up and remember, Luffy. I promise I will never die!"

Ace stopped for a second looking at the ocean once again.

"Like I'll leave behind a weakling brother like you." Ace took a deep breath and then continued. "I'm not smart enough to know what killed Sabo... But whatever it was, it was opposed to freedom. Sabo died without gaining his freedom, but our bond as brothers is still alive! So Luffy, I'll definitely not die!"

Luffy only nod and tried to calm himself down.

Ace won't die. He promised.

But those times passed.

At that time, Ace was only ten years old, while Luffy was seven.

But now, Ace is twenty years old and part of the most feared crew around the world. The Whitebeard Pirates are known for their strength in battles. Their captain, Whitebeard is the most feared man in the world, him being the only one in the wold who matched the Pirate King's, Gol D Roger's power.

Ace became part of this crew not long ago, but he already accomplished many things as Whitebeard's son.

All the crew members are brothers and share the same father, Whitebeard. All of them weren't accepted by the world so Whitebeard gave them a reason to live.

At first, Ace didn't wanted to accept the Whitebeard mark, but now, he couldn't be more proud of his mark.

You were just an ordinary villager, who worked at an bar with your best friend.

Pirates came to your bar every day, so it wasn't a surprise the both of you made a lot of money out of this.

"(Name)! Another round of sake!" Your best friend called.

Her name was Reiko. The two of you knew each other ever since you were little.

Both of your parents were good friends so automatically the two of you became best friends aswell.

But ever since your parents died, the two of you shared a house which later, transformed into this bar.

"Hai! Coming right up!" You replied.

Most of the people would be afraid to welcome pirates in their bar with open arms, but all this years of working here, you learned that if you don't bother them and bring their drinks and food fast, they will not complain.

Sure, there were some pirates who wanted *ahem* more, but you would usually kick them out of your bar.

"Here you go." You said as you placed the trail with sake on the table.

"Haha! Thanks precious." The guys said as he wicked at you.

You almost trew up but you didn't do anything.

As long as he payed for his drinks, you were happy.

"There aren't that many costumers recently." Reiko said as she cleaned the counter.

You sat in front of her on a chair and nod.

"Probably because of the marines." You said.

"Man, and we really did get lot of money from pirates. That's sad."

You sweat drop at your best friend statement.

"That should be a good thing you know? No more pirates..."

"Hahaha, no. What are you thinking? Pirates are free! They have the most freedom!"

"You have freedom aswell, dumbass."

"No, I don't..." Reiko whispered.

You raisex an eyebrow. You didn't understood that. What's the difference between your freedom and the pirates freedom? How was it that different? You don't have freedom?

Your bar was near the dock of your village, so it was really easy to get costumers that just docked on your island.

You decided to tidy the place up since it wasn't at it's cleanest state.

Some people started to crowd aroud the dock for some reason so Reiko decided to see what was going on.

As she looked im the direction everyone was looking, she saw a masive ship coming this way.

Her eyes widen and ran inside.

"Oh my gosh! You won't believe this!" Reiko said excited.

"What is it?" You stopped for a second and then continued your work.

"There is a HUGE ship coming this way!"

"Cool, new costumers." You said without giving a damn.

You got costumers every day. You didn't knew why Reiko always got excited when she saw new faces coming to your village.

Your village didn't approve either disapprove with being a pirate. They wouldn't care as long as you don't mess with their village.

Reiko on the other hand, was so excited to hear the stories of the adventures of any pirate who came to our bar.

It's true, they were interesting, but you weren't that excited when you would hear 'em.

One of the pirates that was in your bar stood up and went to the window to see the ship.

When he saw the flag of the ship, he fell on the ground.

You quickly ran to him and helped him stood up.

"You're okay?" You asked but the guy didn't give his attention to you.

He was sweating.

"This can't be..." He said in a low voice.

"Oi! What's wrong?" His captain asked him.

"It's the Whitebeard Pirates." The guy finally announced everyone.

At that, everyone dropped their drink and ran. Good thing that they paid before they got their drinks.

"The Whitebeard?" You asked slowly. You've sure heard of that name before.

"No way!" Reiko said while jumping up and down.

"What's wrong with you, damn it!"

"You can't be serious! You don't know who Whitebeard Pirates are?! You've never heard of Whitebeard before?" Reiko asked shocked.

"Well, I think I've heard of his name before.." you said while cleaning up the mess that those pirates made when they ran off.

"What?! You can't be serious right now. Whitebeard is the only one in this world that his power equals Gold Roger's!" Reiko said.

Well that's unexpected...

To be honest, you didn't care that much of the pirate and marine's world. Maybe you've seen a few wanted posters but other than that, nothing.

"So he is a big deal, huh?"

"Don't say it like it's nothing! He could be Pirate King if he wants, but everyone is lucky that he decided to bow instead of to rule! Because of that, now everyone has a chance to become the king of the pirates."

"Whatever... As long as they don't attack this island, I don't give a damn." You said as you entered the kitchen.

"Oh come on! Show some excitement! I really wish they'll come here to drink!" Reiko said while clapping her hands together.

"They will come here because, first of all, this is the only bar on this island, and second, their Log Pose will take four days to direct the next islnad, so you can bet they'll come here to get food supplies." You said.

For the next ten minutes, Reiko was looking out the window, jumping in excitement over the new ship that was about to dock.

You can say that she was that type of person who gets excited over everything.

"Oh my gosh! Here they come!" Reiko yelled.

You rolled your eyes at her.

"Settle down already. You want them to talk to you, not to run away from you, don't you?" You asked while laughing out load.

Reiko looked at you with an angry face but then sighed and nod. After all, you were right.

The two of you stood in the bar quietly as you waited for the Whitebeard Pirates to come in.

"Ahhh! No way! The Whitebeard Pirates!" You could hear people from outside screaming and running away.

"Pff, cowards." You said.

"Shut the hell up! You don't even know their po-" before Reiko could finish her sentence, the first pirate to enter the bar a pineapple like hairstyle, with a tattoo same as their Jolly Roger.

Probably the Whitebeard sign.

After his, a balck haired, freaked guy, with the same tattoo, but this time, on his back.

There were more people that entered the bar, all of them part of the Whitebeard Pirates. All of them had the same tattoo.

You sighed and walked in the kitchen, not wanting to deal with them.

Reiko walked towards them to get their order, but the most unexpected thing happed as the pineapple guy accidentally touched her hand.

Reiko fainted.

You face palmed.

Are you freaking kidding me?

"Good job Marco! You made a girl faint!" The freakled guy laughed as he teased Marco.

You sighed and decided to go grab Reiko and get their order.

"Sorry about that. She's a dumbass but usually that doesn't happen. Anyways, what's your order?" You asked as you dragged Reiko in the other room.

"All of us want sake." Marco said while smiling at you.

You nod and went in the kitchen, getting their orders done.

When you finished you served everyone and as you served the last person, who was the freckle guy, he stopped you before you could go back in the kitchen.

"Huh?"

"Hi, my name Ace. Nice to meet you." Ace smiled and he looked at your eyes.

And that was the moment, your life changed. Forver.
