Close to this island, you could find the Red Line. Many pirates pirates came here with mostly the same reason. To enter the New World.

And finally, the truth behind Ace's dad will be revealed to him.

It's true that that Ace will not hesitate to beat the crap out of the person who mentions the fact that he is Roger's son. But even so, Ace was interested in one thing. What type of person was his father? Was he really a monster? Was all the pain that he was bearing during his childhood all worth it?

On the other hand, you couldn't be more excited for this meeting. You were finally going to meet a legend.

'Dark King Rayleigh' they called him. He was once the very first member of Gol D Roger's crew.

You wanted to learn more about Roger's adventures.

However, Ace was the only problem here. He would be very interested about Roger. He would want to know more about his mother as well, and you completely understood that.

Still, you still don't know why pops send you with Ace on this 'mission'.

The scenery in front the two of you was filled with lots of bubbles and trees.

"Sabaody Archipelago." You said quietly as you looked around the area.

It was indeed a beautiful place. You never thought you'll manage to ever get here, but here you were.

"Come on, we have to go to that place." Ace held your hand.

But you have to admit, you have to thank pops for this after the mission.

Because of this little mission pops send you, the two of you became very close.

"Where do we have to go?" You asked.

"We have to get to Grove 13. After that, we have to search for a bar named 'Rip-off Bar'" he explained as he looked around to find out what was the current Grove the two of you were at that moment.

"It seems that we don't have such a long way from here." Ace grinned as he found the number of the Grove.

As the two of you walked around, you noticed the fact that you guys weren't the only pirates around the area.

One grup of pirates stopped in front the two of you.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" The captain smirked.

His crewmates started to laugh.

"Look, we're in a hurry now.
We would really appreciate if you guys would move. Thank you~" Ace bowed and continued walking.

Two steps further, a sharp blade was extremely near Ace's neck.

"Look, if you haven't figure it out yet, you have to gives us your money." The captain continued to smirk while holding the sword to Ace's neck.

"Oh? I think you picked the wrong person to steal from, sir." You said and then hit the guy in his stomach resulting him to clash into his crew mates.

Ace chuckled and smirked.

"I thought you well." He said proudly.

"Well I learned from the best." You laughed.

The two of you continued to walk until you reached the 13th Grove.

"So this is it?" You asked as you stared at the tree which has written the number 13 on it.

"Well this is Grove 13. The bar should be around here." Ace said.

"You know, I think you should wear shirts more often." You said while blushing.

"What's this? Are you jealous because women look at my body?" Ace smirked.

"Nope, I trust you. I said that because I think you're handsome."

Ace's face strated to get really red. You laughed at his reaction. Of course he would do that.

"Awee, don't be shy honey. Can't a woman compliment her man?"

"Shut up!"

You continued to laugh as you followed him silently.

The two of you finally spotted a building. You guys stopped looked at the place.

"Shakky's Rip-off Bar?" You read out loud.

"This is it." Ace took a deep breath.

You gulped and slowly reached for the doorknob.

Behind that door was supposed to be the man you guys were searching for.

You opened the door and you were greeted by the smell of cigarettes and alcohol. After all, it was a bar.

"Irasshai!" A woman said as she was smoking her cigarette.

"Hi." You said quietly.

When you turned around, you noticed the fact that Ace didn't came inside with you.

You furrowed your brows as you looked outside. Near the door, Ace was making himself comfortable on the grass.

"What are you doing?" You whispered.

"I'm not coming in." Ace said as he crossed his arms.

You rolled your eyes and then stepped once again inside the bar, closing the door behind you.

"Hello. My name is (Name). I'm here to see Rayleigh-san." You said.

The woman continued to look at you. She smiled at you.

"And what business would such a young lady want with such a old man like me?" A voice asked.

You turned to your right and saw a man, who was sitting on the couch. He finished his bottle of sake and then lookes at you.

He was the man.

"Dark King", Silvers Rayleigh, "The Right Hand of the Pirate King"

"I've been searching for you actually for quite some time." You said.

You walked to the other couch and sat down.

"Is that so?"

"I'm part of the Whitebread Pirates, pops himself send me here to search for you." You explained.

"Whitebread? That brings lots of memories." He started laughing.

"But I don't think I'm the one who should ask you the questions I'm about to ask. My commander is here aswell, but he is too much of a coward to ask the questions himself." You said the last part louder to make sure Ace hears it aswell.

At that moment, the door flew open and Ace stepped inside.

"Oh, hello commander. So you decided to show up, huh?"

"You're Portgas D. Ace." Shakky said as she recognized him.

"Oh? Portgas?" Rayleigh repeted.

That name sounded familiar for sure.

"I'm here to ask some questions." Ace.

You rolled your eyes. That's the exact same thing you said!

"And those are?" Rayleigh smirked.

"What type of person was my father?" Ace said the last part a little quieter.

"Your father? As in Whitebeard?"

"My father as in Roger. Gol D. Roger."

Dun dun dun.

I just noticed the fact that we almost  reached 2k! How awesome! Thank you so much!

Also, the other thing I noticed is that we're at chapter 13. And I can't believe how fast we got here! O.o
