You woke up in the middle of the night, feeling worst then ever. You weren't feeling sick. For some reason you only felt very worried.

The thing is that you didn't knew what made you so worried about.

You looked at Ace who was sleeping soundly. Of course he would be asleep. This is Ace who we are talking about in the first place.

You stood up from the bed and walked outside.

The sky was full of stars and the moon was brighter than ever.

You leaned on the railing, looking at the stars while listening to the beautiful sound of the ocean.

Out of the sudden, you heard a sound behind you and you quickly turned around.

"Teach?" You asked as you recognized the face.

"(Name)-chan... What are you doing here? I mean, aren't you supposed to asleep?"

You shook your head before replying to him.

"I don't know... I can't sleep. I got this wierd feeling ever since I came back here. I feel like something wrong is about to happen." You explained.

You then noticed something very strange about him. Is that blood?!

"Teach... Wha- what happened? Is this blood?" You asked as you grabbed his arm trying to search for a wound.

"Yes..." He replied.

You raised your eyebrows at his answer. There was no wound! Then from where the hell was all that blood?

"Then from where-"

"Sorry sweetie, I'm afraid it's bed time." He said.

Before you even realized what just happened, everything went black.

Later that morning, Marco was the first person to wake up.

He walked pass every bedroom door and when he arrived at yours he completely stopped.

His eyes widen when he saw you on the ground, passed out.

"(Name)! (Name)! Wake up! Oi!" He started to shook the life out of you.

A few seconds later, you woke up.

"(Name) what the hell?" Marco said. He got very scared for a moment.

"Ahh my bad. I must of fell asleep here." You said while laughing awkwardly.

What the hell happened? You felt like you forgot something super important.

"Anyways, you alright?" Marco asked concerned.

"Yeah I'm alright, don't worry." You replied with a smile and then you walked away.

Your head hurt like a bitch! Probably because of the floor.

Note to self: never sleep on a wooden floor. It's not comfortable.

You walked towards the crows nest, knowing the fact that you'll find Thatch there, asleep.

You and Ace would pull some pranks on him on days like this. But for some reason, you felt like you should check on him.

When you climbed in crows nest your eyes widen.

Thatch was lying lifeless on the ground, a pool of blood was surrounding him.

"Teach is that blood?"

"Yes.. Sorry sweetie I'm afraid it's bed time"

All those memories instantly came into your mind. You started to tremble and you fell on the ground.

What was this? A panic attack? No. It was worst than that.

You screamed in bloody murder. At your scream, Marco quickly ran after you.

When he arrived in the crows nest, his eyes widen at the scene in front of him.

"Thatch!"

You were currently looking at the dead body of your best friend.

What happened? Many people asked that question. But you knew the exact answer to that question. Teach happened.

Everybody who was wake were sitting around crying.

One of their brothers died today. Wait until pops wakes up and hears the news.

You had tears streaming down your face.

With all the commotion outside, everyone, one by one, started to wake up.

Ace finally decided to wake up aswell. He got confused for a moment that you weren't beside him. But when he went outside, everything got clear to him.

Everyone was crying in front of him.

"W-what happened?" He asked.

Everyone went silent. Everyone here knew how much Ace cared about Thatch (in a brotherly way). After all they were best friends.

No one dared to say a word, until you speaked up.

"Thatch died." Your voice trembled.

He ran to you and then grabbed your arms.

"No way! Stop lying."

You shook your head.

"I wish I was lying." You replied to him in a low voice.

He's eyes widened when he saw Thatch's lifeless body.

"T-Thatch..." He called out in a low voice.

He then repeated it again but much more louder, moments later, his call turned out into a call of despair.

"Ace..." You tried to hug Ace, but he moved away.

"Please, just don't."

You felt like crying once again.

Half an hour later, the news reached Whitebeard aswell.

He ordered everyone to come at him. Everyone.

"I'm afraid we can't do anything about Thatch anymore..." He said in a low voice. "I'm very saddened that one of my sons died. I'll make sure we will burry him somewhere nice. A place where everyone will remember him for being one of my dearest sons. Now, I'm afraid there is a single problem here. Who killed him."

You took a deep breath before stepping forward.

Everyone's eyes were on you.

"I know the killer." You announced.

"Who is it, (Name)?" Whitebeard asked.

"Teach. Marshall D. Teach."

At that everyone looked around for him.

"Huh? Where is he?!"

"He killed Thatch last night. I woke up in the middle of the night to take some fresh air when I stumbled across Teach. As you all know, Thach was on guard tonight and he also found that cursed devil fruit. Teach must of wanted it and to get it, he killed him." You explained.

"So that's why..." Marco finally realized the reason why you were lying on the ground this morning.

"Marco, you know something aswell?"

"No pops. I only found (Name) on the ground this morning. I thought she fainted but.."

"Yeah, Teach must of thought I was a threat and he knocked me out."

Whitebeard sighed. He fell on his chair.

"So what now pops?"

"We go after Teach right?"

"No." Whitebeard simply replied.

"What?!" Ace yelled as he clenched his fist.

"Ace... I know you'll be the one who would do anything to avenge Thatch, but listen to me once, I have a bad feeling about all of this."

Ace looked at Whitebeared as if he was insane.

He stormed off in your guys room and shut the door.

You bit your lip and looked at Whitebeard.

"Let me go with him." You said.

"Go? Where?" Everyone started to ask you this questions.

"I'll make sure he doesn't get himself killed. Please..." You begged.

"Alright."

You gave him a small smile and ran in your room.

"Ace..." You said as you found Ace packing some clothes.

"Don't stop me (Name). I'm going." He replied without even looking at you.

"Ace, I'm not gonna stop you. Actually, I'm coming with you!"

"What?"

"I'm coming with you and that's final." You said as you started to pack your own bag.

"(Name)." He called.

"Yes? Ace?"

"Thank you."

"No need to thank me. I'm here for you. Always."

I would've loved to write even more but I decided to end this one here since I felt like there was nothing else to write.

So we are getting closer and closer to the meeting Straw Hats.

And y'all know what this means right?

It means Luffy.
