Everyone was trying to stop Ace.

"Let me go! If I don't go after him then Thatch's soul could never rest in peace!"

"But Teach-"

"Yes! Teach was under my division! It makes the situation even worst!" Ace yelled.

Everyone here understood what Ace was going through. But the situation here was a little bit difficult.

Teach was able to kill a division commander and he probably won't hesitate to do it again.

But Ace was a stubborn person, he would always put his family and friends before himself, and how Thatch was one of his best friends, he wouldn't even sleep until the person who killed Thatch would be in front of him, dead.

While Ace struggling to get out of everyone's grasp, he gestured to you to jump in the boat.

You nod and did as you were told to.

A few moments later, Ace jumped in the boat aswell and then he used his devil fruit power to get it moving.

The moment the boat started moving, a breeze of air hit your face, letting the hair flow around.

You breathe in the fresh air and looked behind you. You could still see the Moby Dick.

Everyone was looking at the two of you go.

The only thing that you didn't wanted to think about, at the moment, was the what Teach is able to do. Was it the fear of facing him? No.

But in this circumstances, Teach killed a division commander of Whitebeard Pirates, one of the most fearsome pirate crew in the world.

Such a status couldn't be earned so easily and that is exactly why Teach's power is unknown.

Especially after eating Thatch's devil fruit.

But Ace is a strong man and you have faith in him.

The good thing about this boat of Ace's was that you won't spend long time on the sea. It goes pretty fast and the two of you will probably reach the next island in a couple of hours.

"(Name), when we reach the next island, we will have to get some information about Teach, and for all of that to be faster, we will split and ask around about him."

"Wakata."

Thatch's death changed Ace's personality. He was way more serious about... everything.

"Sorry to bother, have you seen this man?" You asked a lady that was working at a shop.

"I'm sorry, I haven't seen him around this area." The lady apologized.

"It's okay... Thank you anyways." You sighed and left.

Two hours of searching and no success on finding any trace of Teach. This was going to be more harder than you thought.

As you were walking down the busy streets of the village, a man grabbed your arm.

"I'm sorry, but I couldn't help but hear the fact that you're searching for this man?" He said as he showed you Teach's wanted poster.

"Ah, yes. Have you seen him, sir?" You were getting tired to hear the same answer to this question over and over again.

"Actually, my boss has some information about this man. He said that if you would like to find out where he was last seen, you have to do a job for him first."

"What kind of job?"

"You see, there are some bandits that are all over our forests this days. They keep attacking our guards and steal our supplies. We would like if you could take care of them..."

The man wasn't lying. This probably wasn't the real job his boss wants you to do. This was mainly to test your skill.

"Ok. I'll do it. But... If you see a shirtless man with a hat and a big tattoo on his back, he's with me. Tell him that I'm already on the way and if he wants to help he's all welcome to join me."

"Alright. Understood."

You then left towards the base od those bandits. This better be true... The whole Teach's location thing.

Ace was frustrated. Nobody saw Teach in thid town. How is that even possible?!

He sighed one again as he walked down the street. At this rate, he'll probably manage to find Teach in about 1000 years.

"Excuse me, sir!" A man ran towards him.

Ace raised his eyebrows and stopped.

"Me?" Ace asked as he was pointing at himself.

"Yes. I have a message for Lady (Name)."

"A message? Go on..."

After the man told him all about what happened and why you went after those bandits, Ace nod and the thanked the man for passing on the message.

"Can I speak to your boss?" Ace asked.

"B-boss? Are you sure, sir?"

"Trust me, he's no match for me."

"If you say so... But I shall still warn you. He's a fearless man."

"Thank you for that fact. But please, lead the way."

"Right, this way."

"I swear it wasn't us!" One of the bandits yelled.

"Oh, shut up. Who was it then? Huh?" You crossed your arms as you scoffed.
Today's bandits, am I right?

But with all seriousness, these dudes don't look like they robbed those guys.

You sighed and then you sat down on the ground.

"Damn... You know, just when I think I can finally relax, one of my many brothers is killed, then Ace wants to go after the killer and now this shit? How hard is to notice a fat, toothless, annoying man? I mean-" you continued your little life time story, while the others were struggling to get back their breathing.

"And I thought that he didn't even have family! And what do you know? It turns out he has! And you wouldn't even guess! And two brothers... Luffy and Sabo. What a touching story."

"Wait. You couldn't mean..." A bandit said as he stood up.

"Huh?"

He ran towards the table and then grabbed a wanted poster.

"Huh? Mon-key D. Luffy." You slowly read. Then everything clicked. He was Ace's brother! "Ohh! So this is Luffy huh? Well he's not bad looking. Not at all." You smirked.

The only reason you said that it was because of...

"(Name), I hope you're talking about me."

You smiled as you turned around and saw Ace.

"Hey! Where did you come from?"

"Well, you invited me here, didn't you? And don't change the subject."

"Urgh, fine. Look!" You said excited as you showed Ace, Luffy's wanted poster.

"Huh? LUFFY?!" He yelled, full of excitement, as his eyes popped out. "30,000,000 bellies?!"

"He has the highest bounty in East Blue." A bandit said.

"It's a good thing I still don't have a bounty, am I right?"

"I bet your father won't be too happy with your connection to the pirate world." Ace laughed.

"Like I don't know that..."
