III. CONESSIONS OF THE IMPRISONED

The first thing Tedros noticed once he had awoken was the absence of his sister lying next to him - which made him immediately shoot up, his head whipping around to look for her.

"Percival! Gwaine! Leon!" He cried hurriedly.

"My Lord?" A tired Gwaine asked, groggily looking up at the young prince as the other knights scattered around the clearing began to wake up.

"It's Guinevere," Tedros told them, hurrying together his belongings, "She's gone!"

"What?" Percival asked, the knights all following the boy's actions.

"I don't know," Tedros said as they made their way to the horses, "I just woke up and she was gone,"

"Then what are we to do?" Sir. Leon asked.

"We must go back to Camelot and alert my father of what has happened," Tedros answered, "And then hope he doesn't decapitate me afterwards," He mumbled to himself before he and his men headed back to Camelot.

"We were out for a morning ride when they ambushed us," Lucy said as she, Tumnus and Guinevere sat on the floor of the cold, dingy dungeon, "We didn't stand a chance,"

"I was on a hunt with my brother and a hunting party," Guinevere explained, leaving out who the hunting party was, "Everyone was asleep when I heard a noise. I thought it may have been a wild animal caught in one of the traps they had set up. It was a stupid thing to do, really, going after it,"

"I don't think it was," Lucy told her.

"How so?" Guinevere asked.

"You were just curious," Tumnus piped up, answering for her, "I know Lucy here would've done the exact same thing,"

The trio shared gentle smiles, but were interrupted by the sound of heavy boots walking past their cell, giving Guinevere a clear view on who their captors were as they passed them.

"Telmarines?" The girl whispered in confusion.

"Pardon?" Lucy asked.

"These aren't slave traders," Guinevere shook her head, "They're Telmarines," She told them in panic.

"How can you tell?" Tumnus asked her.

"The crests on their shields. I saw them as they walked past.," The princess told them, "Trust me, I've seen enough of them to know," She said as the heavy footsteps stopped in front of their cell, sending fear through the trio's veins.

"You lost her?!" Arthur bellowed as he stood in front of his son, his wife by his side, and the hunting party that stood in front of him in the Throne Room.

"Father, I-"

"How could you lose her?!" The King cut his son off, "You hadn't even been gone a day!"

"We just woke up and she was no longer there," Tedros told his father.

"We fear that she has been taken," Sir. Leon spoke up.

"Then we must do all that we can to find her," Guinevere said, looking up at her husband.

"Prepare the horses," Arthur ordered, starting to make his way out of the Throne Room, his son, wife and the knights following behind, "I'm going to find my daughter,"

"He's been gone too long," Lucy whispered to Guinevere as she sat curled up in the older girl's arms.

"He'll be fine," Guinevere soothingly whispered into her ear, doubt starting to sink in.

"Do you think we'll get out of here soon?" Lucy asked the princess.

"Yes," Guinevere confidently nodded.

"How so?" Lucy asked.

"Because we have people who love us out there," Guinevere answered, "And I know they'll do whatever it takes to find us,"

"You're right," Lucy whispered, nodding.

The older girl smiled as they sat in silence for a while longer.

"Vere?" Lucy asked, looking up at the girl.

"Yes?" The said girl asked, looking down at Lucy.

"I have something to tell you," The youngest of the two told her.

"What is it?" Guinevere asked, shifting her position, so that she could face the girl.

"I lied to you," Lucy confessed.

"What do you mean?" Guinevere wondered, confused.

"I-" Lucy started, "I'm Queen Lucy the Valient,"

Guinevere stared down at the girl, a calculating look residing on her face.

"Vere?" Lucy asked, "I'm so sorry I lied to you about something like this," Guinevere stayed quiet, "Say something, please,"

"Sorry," Guinevere apologised, shaking her head slightly and clearing her throat, "Um, so, you're a Queen?" She asked, trying to wrap her head around what she had just been told.

"Yes," Lucy nodded, timidly.

"Well, if it makes you feel any better, I haven't told you the truth either," Guinevere told the girl.

"Pardon?" Lucy asked, slightly shocked.

"I'm Princess Guinevere II of Camelot," The brunette said, gently biting her lip.

"Oh," Lucy muttered, before smiling slightly, "Thank you for telling me,"

"And than you for telling me," Guinevere said, mirroring the young Queen's smile.

"So, do you think our families will find us," Lucy asked again.

"Yes," Guinevere nodded, again, "And even if they don't, I have a plan to get us out,"
