So Logan and Leora have gotten together, and now there on a mission to save other mutants that have been captured by a secret government organization. Wildcat has just used her Hydrokiness to manuver the Blackbird(The X-Jet) underwater to slip past there defences and escape there missiles. Please keep in mind I will be using codenames! Alright, alright, I'll shut up now so you can get to reading!

Six Months after the previous chapter, Backround.

The Blackbird burst out of the depths of the sea, and Wildcat fell back against her seat panting. She was drained.

"Yes!" Phoenix cried happily, throwing her hands up in the air. "Keep your hands on the wheel!" Wolverine snapped at her, his face paler than usual. Wildcat smiled weekly at Phoenix has Wolverine clicked off his seatbelt and slid his arm around her shoulders comfortingly.

"You okay?" He asked, taking her hand and squeezing it carefully. "Yeah." she huffed back. Her fingers fumbled with the seat belt as she tried to take it off. Wolverine smiled and kissed her swiftly on the cheek before returning to his seat.
Storm high-fived her as they switched their seats. "Nice job Wildcat," she said grinning. "Thanks." She responded. She sat down and glanced behind her. Beast and Mystique smiled approvingly and Cyclops gave her a thumbs up. She looked at Professor X.

"Good job, I'm proud of you." He looked at her curiously "Fascinating. Your mind never even hinted that you were capable of that kind of power. I'm impressed." Wildcat felt a flash of annoyance as he called her "Fascinating". " Yeah, well I guess I have no normal mutation." She said back facing forward once more. "Yeah, well I guess you're no normal mutant, are you?" Wolverine said grinning. "No," Wildcat replied, flashing pointed teeth. "I guess I'm not."

The Blackbird landed in stealth mode quietly. "Here we go, guys," Phoenix said.
"You say that like one of us is going to die." Beast commented with a frown. "One of us might," she whispered back. Mystique wrinkled her nose and shape shifted herself to look like Phoenix.

"Here we go guys,"  She mimicked dramatically in her voice sweeping her arm in a grand gesture.

Everyone looked at each other and then burst out laughing. Mystique changed back looking pleased with herself, and Phoenix just glared at everyone.

"Focus! All of you!"snapped Professor X. Like Phoenix, he was the only other person not laughing."Quiet! We have to help these mutants!"

" Who is this "we" you're talking about?"said Storm sarcastically. She pointed to everyone by him. "We're the ones that have to go in and save them while you sit here and your weelchair." Professor X looked embarrassed but lifted his chin."Its not my fault I'm crippled." "No, but maybe you could help out."  She said , gesturing toward the 8 guards positioned at the front of the lab. "Very well." He sighed. He put two fingers to his temple and closed his eyes. "Sleep," he murmured, and all 8 guards fell to the ground unconscious.

"Whats wrong with her?" Cyclops whispered to Wildcat as they all said their good byes to Professor X and trotted outside. "She's upset because she wanted to go to bed early tonight." " Oh, that makes sense". he said back nodding as they both watched  Storm yawn.

Wildcat agreed and broke off from him to crouch next to Wolverine.
