              We couldn't say more because Alpha Greene and Beta Rein along with their mates entered and the meeting started. All rised as they took their post around the dining room, Alpha Greene at the head with Luna Rosie by his right, with Beta Rein by his left and Serena by his side. Tyler sat beside his mother and Jaden beside his while I sat beside Jaden.

The round circular table allowed us to see everybody from where we were at the head. Alpha Greene stood to address the pack, his voice boomed with authority and leadership so proud and powerful.

"Welcome my fellow brothers and sisters, family and friends I would like to thank you all for accepting my invitation"

Words of greeting passed among pack members.

"Each and every one of you knows of our history how Brigima pack came to existence, how we are different from normal werewolf packs and we have been trying to fit in this community we now live in. We are rogues but we are civilization who wishes to be a normal pack. You all know the story of how a Mage helped us to become a pack"

Nobody looked my way, nobody knows that the man Alpha Greene speaks of is my father should I be glad or not?. I guess I should be, greed was a deadly thing and I have experience to know these facts.

"He helped us create a bond known as the mind link which normal pack members has but he was unable to complete the spell due to undramatic reasons so we are left with just being a bunch of half rogues half pack with a mind link but I will always promise you this my brothers and sisters we will become a pack"

Everybody cheered, clapped, each made a sound of approval.

Beta Rein took over,

"Even though we become a pack we will still lack the qualities of being a pack and if care is not taking we will still be known as rogues"

Voices of protest, confusion, questioning, and mummers filled the air.

"Silence" Alpha Greene roared in a loud voice, once everybody quieted he continues,

"We have a plan."

Everybody watched him with anticipation in their eyes waiting for him to continue.

"The Alpha of the Resistance pack, Alpha James Ruffus has agreed to form an alliance with us rogues"

Numerous gasp filled the air, everybody knew of the Resistance pack, cold blooded killing machines no one dares approach them for they are known to kill at first sight and are used by the werewolf king for war, some says they are the closest to being the werewolf king personal pack being the monster he is the pack is as deadly as it could be.

Tension filled the air followed by fear everybody wondered if our Alpha plans to kill us straight to the Resistance pack even I thought those words the most.

Beta Rein continued either way,

"Ten of you from high school will be joining the Resistance pack school for an alliance"

Voices of protest rang as cries of fear loomed.

"Listen"

Alpha Green roared slightly getting annoyed by the tension but who could blame us we want to be pack so as to not be killed one day as rogues. Our time runs thin day by day just waiting for a pack to see us as rabbit animals and kill us straight.

"This is not a death sentence but a way to redeem our status"

Everybody stared at the Alpha dumbfounded some starting to question his sanity.

"Moon goddess has blessed us, her children and that is why we are still alive with her grace, we have been able to fight and defeat the strongest pack who challenged us and we have kept peace amongst ourselves. The Ressistence pack is the closest we can get to the werewolf king who can help us become a pack we could have tried other ways but we all know that won't end well so why not train and study under the kings eyes and prove ourselves to be the promising strongest pack"

Appreciation, approval, growls of cheers rang clearly the tension gone as anticipation took over it was a golden ticket to higher standard.
What surrounds us we endure better for giving it a name - and moving on.

"The Alpha of the ressistence pack will arrive tomorrow and the students who will leave with him will be decided tomorrow. Good day everyone" Beta Rein concluded.

           The meeting was adjourned, but something was admissed, the boys and I agreed to postpone our mystery hunting till tomorrow,

I have been attacked and held hostage by Luna Rosie and mama Serena making sure I ate. Tyler and Jaden abandoned me. Some friends I have. I love Luna Rosie and Mama Serena but sometimes they are just too much, they don't keep anything to themselves they always say whats on their mind.

Of course Alpha Greene and Beta Rein decided to join in on my torture.

'Am so going to kill you guys once I get free'

It turns out it really was a welcome back party.

'Aww come on Mel its good for you'

I had to take in another bagel into my chipmunk mouth before replying through our private mind link which I created when I was 12.

'I'm starting with you Ty, it's going to be slow and less fun'

A low growl resounded back at me, if I was a wolf I would have growled back since am not am pretty sure my eyes are glowing.

'Keep it in the pants you too. We are sorry we didn't tell you Mel but you knew it was going to appear either way'

I scoff while swallowing heavily, Jaden has always been the peace maker in our group, I always wonder how long it will take for him to tick.

'I heard that Mel'

I rolled my eyes replying a not sorry back. Tyler's chuckle ringing through our mind.

'Keep them busy while we snoop around, k'

I always hated this part of the job.

"I really missed my baby", I had to cringe out a smile at Luna Rosie cooing.

'Deep breath Mel, you are in a function there are people watching, so nothing is going to happen'.

And like I said previously I am never allowed outside the walls of Brigima, I had to convince Alpha Greene to let me go which wasn't easy what others don't know is the conditions my Alpha laid down for me and how roasted my Luna is going to deep fry the both of us but mostly me.

"Damien, I thought you said an important person was supposed to be here today"

Rosie questioned from her spot when the room was almost cleared out.

Alpha Greene nodded, he had this nonchalant aura around him,

"The Alpha of the pack, Alpha James Ruffus was suppose to be here but we told him we were busy"

He answered coolly, a baddest smirk tugging his lip. You could definitely see where Tyler got his cockiness from.

"But why? This alliances is important so why postpone it?"

Rosie questioned again, she wasn't backing out and was determined to know their reasons and so was I.

"Melenie just got back yesterday and if we had finalized the deal we wouldn't be able to spend more time with her"

He answered with a shrugged.

I froze up. A single lie discovered is enough to create doubt over every truth expressed.

"Yeah told the Alpha to come tomorrow so we could spend time with our little princess, and it was my idea by the way"

Beta Rein spoke softly which brought tears to my eyes.

"Honey, that was so sweet of you guys", Serena sounded proud.

I couldn't stop blinking while gasping at them.

"You guys postponed an important meeting with an important Alpha just so that you could celebrate my return?"

I know am not suppose to be surprise but this was too much and to the Alpha of the Resistance pack too they were pulling the strings to my heart with these sacrifices.

"Of course, anything for our princess. You are part family after all"

They all stare at me with sincere love in their eyes. Beta Rein the warm fluffy papa bear, Serena the sweet motherly awe and affectionate, Alpha Greene cocky with a different glint in his eyes, and Luna Rosie touched with a tint of green.

It was true that your emotions troubles you only in those things which you call yours.

The emotions twirling in me were too much added with the sensation from their auras all at once.

'Gosh I love them all'.

What will I do without them in my life? They have always been there to fill the gaps in my heart ever since my father died, for a moment I let go, I surrender to the fragment of this reality, accepted that what I always wanted was coming from them.

I couldn't hold back the tears that threatened to leak. This is why I totally love and adored them I would never abandon this pack, I would give my life and all for this family they care too much it constantly warms my heart.

I am suddenly torn. Do I give up my freedom for this? Maybe it could work out, I had everything I needed for it right here.

I quickly pulled them in a group hug, everyone has someone in their life that keeps them looking forward to another day, They took over after I lost my dad they stepped in when my mom and other family member couldn't function well, even when they were my legal guardian they still allowed my mother to come see me and spend time with me.

"God, I love you guys".

I love them, I really do, despite all the negativity we are all still one family but they keep on tearing my heart in pieces with their secrets and deceit.

'Hey Mel whats wrong? I can feel your emotions, whats going on?'

I heard Jaden's ever concern voice.

'I love you Jady'

I felt his confusion at my sudden declaration, he couldn't voice them out when Tyler popped in the link.

'We couldn't find the letter, I think either dad moved it or already gave it to Mama Ashley. Hey Melly what's wrong?'

And I had Tyler by my side, my friends, brothers, side-kicks, Mystery uncovering partners.

I could do this, I can survive besides When you learn to accept instead of expect, you'll have fewer disappointments.
