Unexpected Comrade
You stop on the top of a hill, looking over the mountains and sigh. At least it was shady, you were exhausted after walking all night. Like hell you'd be able to sleep in the open after meeting that vampire last night. You shiver feeling over your neck and throat again. You could still feel the sensation of his tongue and fangs there. "I hope I find Smoker soon..." You mutter before walking on. The sun rose higher into the sky as you near Storm town. As soon as you reach town you get a room at an inn and fall face first into the bed.
**Meanwhile**
He prepares to make the delivery, strapping on his vest before pulling on his suit, a frown cursed his lips, sunglasses glinting against the light. Once again one of his special deliveries never made it to point B. He was truly annoyed by all this now, and so he planned to make the delivery himself.
"Mr. Donquixote please, it's too dangerous..." His secretary tries to soothe.
"If you want something done, do it yourself." He states, adjusting his tie. She clung to his arm, pleading. He sighs, he had grown tired of this woman.
"But Doflamingo! Something bad might happen to you!" She says sniffling.
"Get off and do not say my name so casually, you were a mere toy these past few nights." He responds coolly. She releases arm in shock. "Unfortunately my dear, you're no different than any of my other secretaries. No ambition, easy on the eyes, rather dimwitted and easy to get in bed." He goes to his desk holster in get his guns.
"Doflamingo.... You bastard! I quit!" She cries storming out. He chuckles to himself at that.
"They all said that too, Fufufu..." He rumbles. They were all so predictable and boring. Doflamingo cracks his neck before heading out. He walks out to his car, peering up at the darkening sky. "A nice night to make some heads roll."

You freeze gaping at the stake that now protruded from the wall. You look back down at the crossbow. "So that's how that works..." You mutter, carefully moving it to the side before getting up and retrieving the stake. You swallow and move a picture frame in front of the hole. "There... All better..." You sweat before swiftly packing up and heading out. You smile down at the sketch of Smoker a heart drifting off of you.
Walking into a convenience store, you ask the clerk if they've seen Smoker. He shakes his head and you head out to the next store, crossing a street and freezing when a maroon Cadillac almost hits you. You blink in surprise at him and he releases a breath. "Sorry Miss, are you okay?" The blond pokes his head out.
"I'm okay... Have you seen this man?" You ask, showing him the sketch. He shakes his head.
"No, sorry... Do take care miss." He says as you get out of his way.
"Alright, thank you anyway." You offer a disappointed smile before going ahead. The driver just frowns briefly before driving off. You go into the next store and ask about Smoker, again getting no answer. You frown more, was this the wrong town?? You head back out looking around until you spot a fortune teller.
"No..." You tell yourself walking ahead. You turn on your heel cursing under your breath as you start for the fortune teller. You ease in carefully, peering around uneasily.
"I know why you are here~" The woman's voice says.
"I highly doubt that..." You look around carefully.
"You're searching for a being not like a human, a... Love interest?" The voice says. You pause.
"I stand corrected.... Can you tell me where he went? Or do I have to pay?" You ask.
"He's heading to a place called White town. Your journey there will be hard but you won't be alone. Your companion awaits for you at the edge of town." She says.
"Okay thanks... Uh, how much do I owe you?" You inquire, starting to pull out your wallet.
"You're already paying, hunter." She responds.
"Uh... Okay bye..." You mutter before going out utterly confused.
You go to a gas station looking over the map, finding White town was three towns away. You frown pulling out a notepad and writing down the town names in between Storm and White. You nod with a smile and head out down the road. The next town was called Rose. You smile more. "I'm gonna find him before the next full moon. I can do this!" You chime skipping slightly.
"I wonder what she's so happy about all of a sudden..." Kid hums, tongue sliding over his fang, watching through his binoculars on a tree branch.
"I'm curious about the sketch she's carrying around with her, she must be looking for someone." Killer's echoing voice hums.
"Damn I want her now..." Kid groans leaning back until he's upside down. "She smelt so good! So innocent!" His eyes start to glow red.
"Be patient, we have two weeks." Killer sweatdrops, green eyes flickering to you. "Then we both can enjoy her."
"What if I decide not to kill her? Maybe keep her for a fun time playmate." Kid licks his lips.
"You're awfully energized tonight Kid, why not go pick one have the streets to play with tonight?" Killer suggests.
"Because I want her... She was so cute when she killed that new blood last night..." Kid breathes lowering himself down a branch and bouncing slightly.
"At this rate it'll be impossible for her to survive you. And then I'll get to claim her soul." Killer muses, holding out a tan hand as an orb of light dances above it briefly.
"Won't know until the full moon..." Kid sighs.
You reach the edge of town and slow down looking around, remembering what the fortune teller said. You carefully take out the crossbow after passing under a street lamp, it was too quiet. Your eyes carefully glide around as you near the forest. Gunshots make you jump and move behind a gate, peering around the corner as a man runs around from the back of a building, a being with glowing red eyes jumps on him from the rooftop.
He shoots it in the stomach to no avail. You take aim and fire a stake at the vampire hitting it between the ribs and making it cry out, turning to ash. The man coughs, sitting up as you run over grabbing the stake. "Get up now!" You gasp, hauling him to his feet. You look around, swiftly looking up and raising the stake as a vampire leaps down at you. The stake meets the vampire's eye and it turns to ash. "Ew... Why did it have to be the eye..." You shudder leading him off.
"You're the girl from earlier." He breathes as you both hurry away. Two vampires appear ahead of you, you pass the case to the man striking out as they lunge. The stake meets one vampire's throat making your lip curl in slight disgust. The other freezes in surprise as his comrade becomes ash. You turn about and shove the stake into the other vampire's chest killing it as well. You take the crossbow and get it ready for another shot.
"You really must smell good for them to be swarming like this..." You grunt raising the crossbow and looking back as a van drifts from behind the building at you both. You catch sight of red eyes over the steering wheel. "Woods. Run. Now." You tell him firing for the windshield and missing, the stake going between the grill of the truck. There's an odd noise and the van suddenly blows up. You and the man gap at it. You were horrified, while the man besides you busts out laughing.
"Fufufu!! You blew up the delivery!" He cackles holding his stomach.
"This isn't a laughing matter--" You break off as more vampires come around the corner. "How many fucking vampires are here!?" You gasp grabbing his arm and running into the woods. He chuckles running beside you. "Why the hell are you still laughing!?"
"This is insane! This cannot be happening!" He chuckles. You glance at him then back not seeing the vampires. He suddenly yanks you back making you fall on your back.
"What the hell!?" You growl glaring up at him. He points as you sit up, blinking at the skinny gorge, the gap had to be seven feet to the lower platform. You get up looking back as red specks appear before looking toward the platform again. You take the case backing up.
"What are you doing?" He inquires raising an eyebrow.
"I don't have time for this. I gotta get to Smoker." You respond stopping when you had enough running space.
"You're crazy..." He breathes.
"You're gonna have to jump too if you wanna live!" You respond running and leaping across the gap and tumbling onto the other platform. You get up tossing him a grin. "Come-on long legs!" You call. He looks back at the vampires getting closer. He swiftly runs and jumps over to the platform, nearly missing the ledge, sliding back. You grab his arm and pull him forward, backing up and raising the stake as a vampire leaps for the platform. A large hairy form catches it, flying over you and landing, shaking the vampire viciously.
You and the man gap at giant wolf, looking around as more appear, leaping onto the the other ledge and snatching up the vampires. The vampires roar and cry out in pain. You and the man look at each other. "Fuck that. Run!" You gasp running with him toward the road.
"Well then... It seems like I'm safer with you Miss...?" He hums looking back carefully then at you.
"___... And I don't know if that's true I've been winging it if you haven't noticed." You breathe walking faster.
"I'm Doflamingo, you can call me Doffy... And I you're a hell of a hunter." He smiles.
"I'm not a hunter why does everyone keep saying that? I'm just looking for Smoker!"
