Vampire Problems
You finish packing your bag and grab the picture, going downstairs. "Alright mom, I'm heading off." You tell her.
"Be careful out there, this world is dangerous." She says making you pause at the door.
"I will mom, see ya." You smile before heading out to your car, tossing in your bag and getting in. You decide to make a quick stop at your weapons enthusiast friend. The sound of a grinder tells you he's in the garage. You get out and go over seeing the blue haired man busy at work. You stand patiently peering at his collection until he looks up. He stops and grins.
"___! It's super to see you! What can I do for you?" He asks cheerfully.
"I'm going on a road trip and need protection from... All kinds of beings would be nice." You shrug. He pauses with a head tilt.
"Don't tell me you believe in vampires, witches, things that go bump in the night." He rumbles. You shift remembering Smoker that night.
"Who really knows. Anyway I'll be alone so better prepared then dead, right?" You rub your neck. He watches you as you glance to your car obviously itching to go.
"Alright, I got just the case for you." He rumbles grabbing a black suitcase. He brings it over to you, opening it. There was all kinds of ammo for the crossbow and shotgun within. "You know how to fire these?" He asks. You sweatdrop.
"I'll figure it out if the need arises." You shrug. "How much do I owe you?"
"We'll call it a trial run." He smiles at you.
"Franky..." You try to object.
"Be safe where ever you're going... That's all I ask from my friend." He tells you. You smile and hug him.
"Thanks Franky." You breathe. He gives a wave as you take the case and head out. You put it in the trunk, taking a stake to keep at your side. You look around and smile before getting in the car. "Here we go.. and here I come Smoker."
**Meanwhile**
"What do you mean the delivery never made it last night? This is the third time this week," He sighs in annoyance. "Who do I have to kill to find someone who actually does their job?"
"But sir, something killed the delivery driver, it's not his fault." His secretary tries to soothe.
"The same happened to the other two, we give them bigger guns but they still get killed..." He stands going to the window and staring out at the town of Storm. "If it happens again I'll make a delivery myself, and show you all how to deal with troublesome people."
"But sir.... What... What if it's like Vergo said? What if they aren't even human?" She inquires carefully.
"Don't be absurd. There is nothing more powerful than a human. If I hear one more thing about monsters I will get a new secretary." He warns.
"Yes Mr. Donquixote..."

You stop in the next town and get out, locking your doors before going into a store. "Excuse me, have you seen this man?" You ask the shop keeper, showing Smoker's sketch.
"I remember someone like that a few days ago.... Think he said he was going north through storm town." The woman hums thoughtfully. "I don't normally remember things like that but he was a looker."
"Yeah you certainly can't forget that face...." You mutter. "Thank you though." You add before heading out to find your car suddenly missing it's tires and someone trying to break into the drivers side. He pauses and looks at you. "I really.. Don't want to deal with this at the moment... Here, take it, and pop the trunk." You sigh tossing him your keys.
"Really? Okay.." The man shrugs opening the door and popping the trunk. You grab the case and your backpack before starting off again. "Not going to call the cops.?"
"I didn't like that car. I don't have time for the bullshit. Also I hope something shitty happens to everyone who messed up my car." You flip him off as you go on.
"Heh, that's different..." The red head gives a fanged smirk watching you go.
"Found someone tasty boss?" A masked man asks from the roof.
"I think I did... But let's scrap this car first. She's on foot so we can track her down tonight." The redhead decides.
You look down at the sketch of Smoker, feeling even more determined now. "Lost my damn car over this..." You breathe looking toward the north and picking up the pace.
Night fell over the horizon, shrouding the forest in darkness as you walked down the road. A cool evening wind surrounds you, leaves dancing all about. The growing darkness played with your nerves. Your hand brushes over the stake as the wind picks up, more leaves block your vision briefly and when they clear you freeze.
"Lovely evening isn't it miss? Excellent night for a stroll.... But very dangerous for a human." The guy chuckles, eyes glinting red. You shift hearing something in a tree and look up to find the redhead that you gave the keys to your car to. His eye were glowing red, watching you curiously. Something moves near the base of the tree and you catch something large and dark peeking out at you.
"You gotta be shitting me... I don't have time for this! Get out of the way." You snap to the man in your way.
"Hahaha! You have no idea what you're up against little girl! Oh well! It's already too late for you!" The guy laughs lunging. You instinctively bring up the stake and it pierces his chest. He coughs and explodes into ash. You flinch in surprise blinking at the stake.
"Holy shit.... It works...." You whisper. The redhead lands next to you and you jump turning to him with wide eyes as he straightens up, looming over you. You pale gripping the stake tighter as his eyes bore into yours.
"You don't smell like a hunter..." He breathes walking around you. You couldn't move, chills running up and down your spine. "And right now you're terrified." He chuckles sniffing your neck. "Mm... I really want a taste..." His tongue slides over your jugular. You shake, swallowing suddenly turning on him, swinging the stake for his chest. He catches your wrist easily smirking. "Sure are feisty, that's cute..." His breath sweeps over your throat again and you feel fangs graze the skin, prodding teasingly. His grip on your wrist tightens briefly before he pulls back.
"What should I do Killer?" He peers at the dark shape behind the tree.
"I think the blood will get sweeter if we let her go for now, Kid." The echoing voice rumbles. Kid hums tipping your chin thoughtfully.
"I do like sweet.... Alright my little bunny. Go ahead and get sweeter I'll come get you during the full moon?" He smirks up at the sky. His tongue grazes over his fang. "I can't wait."
Then he was gone along with the creature that had been behind the tree. You look around gripping the stake.
"What the hell did I get myself into? I just want to find Smoker...."
