THE MONTENEGRO FAMILY was the perfect image of the American dream but it was all a facade. When their eldest daughter, Lucia disappears they make sure to cover it up in hopes of keeping their facade alive. What they didn't expect was for their youngest daughter, Reyna to do the same.

Lucia and Reyna used to be attached at the hip that was when until Lucia's seventeenth birthday rolled around. One day she was here and the next she was gone, no one knew where she'd gone or what had happened and it would stay that way. Until Reyna's sixteen birthday when she finds out where her sister has been hiding all these years.

In efforts to get answers and get away from her toxic parents Reyna arrives on her sister's doorstep. But she quickly realizes that this is going to be a lot more complicated then she thought especially when her roommate, Kitty starts to meddle in her family and love life.
