Dog-gone

It was late at night

when doggie heard a fight.

They screeched and screamed

whole night long,

arguing about who was wrong.

Old doggie, nearly blind,

thought he was losing his mind.

He got up and down he went,

he walked right out of his tent.

He followed the noise

and he made his choice.

He yelled: "Shut up, we have to sleep, you see?!"

Little did he know he barked up the wrong tree.
