Love: A man who deserved to be loved (part 2/3)

He knew that girl's watching him over the coffee bar.

He could see the curiosity in her eyes slowly changed to love.

He knew that's love because he looked at his wife with same eyes.

He's always annoyed with people staring at him for whatever reasons.

But when it come to her, he didn't mind having that girl stalking him.

He likes the way she decided herself to put more sugar in his coffee when he had a bad day.

He likes the way she changed the music in the store when he pulled out his laptop.

He likes the bright smiles she brought to him with her sweet coffee.

Yes, her coffee doesn't taste bitter. It's sweet. So does she.

He didn't remember when he started to look at her secretly.

He didn't know how he memorized her shifts and be at the café, with her.

He didn't notice that his heartbeat was extremely high when she smiled to him.

He didn't understand why he read out her name on the name badge that afternoon.

But he did remember he betrayed his wife and fell in love with her.

He did not want to ruin their relationship, if he already decided to start it.

He's surprised when she still smiled at him the same way and want to be with him.

He thought because he's rich and she knew about this.

But later he laughed at himself when he found out how rich she is.

And he loved her more and more when she used her love to melt him apart.

But then he noticed she lost her true smiles.

She wore "happy masks" while with him because she knew he loves her smile.

He could see her tears waving in her brown eyes when she looked at him.

He wished her would cry. Or yell. Or hit him. Or whatever she wanted.

But no. She decided to protect her love by handling by her own.

He knew for sure how bad he had damaged his beloved girl.

He knew why she's worry.

Because he used to love his wife.

But she won't believe that "used to".

And he understood her.

But he knew that used to is real.

Because he has no desire with his wife anymore.

Because he knew from the start he's the only one to fall in love.

His wife had never loved him even for a second.

She could let him have sex but never responded to him.

She could make him lunch as a wife duty, not because of love.

She could call him but just to see how much food she should cook.

She never loved him even though he loved her a lot, used to.

He sighed slowly and put the signed divorce form and the ring in front of her.

He said "sorry" and just turned away from the woman he "used to" call wife.

He didn't know if it's right or not.

But he knew his heart want this to end here.

He knew he can't no longer stand his little girl's collapse.

He knew love should not be let to die.

He started this and he will end this.

Hey... I know it's a little bit late. and weird, for 2 old people like us.

But do you want to be my girlfriend?

I meant... I moved out, to a new apartment.

It's the one in the opposite building of your café.

Yeah, it'll save you sometimes to sleep in the morning.

Huh? Of course you don't need to pay anything if you want to stay.

Yes, it's my pleasure to have you share my apartment, madam.

Do you want a coffee tonight?

I think it's time to make you one as you've always made me.

Yeah have to be coffee tonight, we have many things to do you know?
