'The Story That Lasted Thirty-One Days'

Once news of Endopyn with supernatural powers reached the Seven Sisters, they flew into a terrifying rage, during which many of their minions died and the seeds of doubt were sown.

Their conquest of the Tyrolean's and the multitude of smaller states that surrounded it was accomplished with ease and the sisterhood's dominion remained unchallenged for centuries. However, as time passed the journey through the mountain passes to the surrounding states became increasingly difficult. As the years passed the perpetrators became ever bolder and more adept at slaughtering Azuki Pierogi and Schnozzles, but still, no knowledge of their secret enemy did they discover.

The truth only came to light when a sly monk name Kudos thought it would put him in their favour if he shared with them the folklore surrounding the disappearance of the heroic Endophyn couple, Almanac and Halloween, who had been with child.

The only thing he gained was a visit to the pot, still dressed in his smock,

"How dare these vermin, keep this from us."

Was shouted as they watched a rather bulbous body writhe and wriggle in the boiling mess, his screams offered only meagre audible satisfaction. The revelation led to much carnage as they sought more detail on their whereabouts, resulting in the death of thousands before they finally accepted that the cowardly Endophyn knew nothing of them, The only detail they uncovered was the name of their race and their pledge. The race was called the Naloxone, who the Endophyn believed would cure this plague of suffering they had endured for centuries and would fulfil their pledge, by purging this land of its demons.

The disarray was seen as an opportunity for one of the more intelligent sisters, who during this time, using her craft and guile, rose to power, claiming to have the power of second sight and the magic required to grant them eternal life and was selected to become the first High Priestess, the Blood Queen apparent. It may seem crazy, but this was their holy grail, they had long since coveted the desire to live forever, something they believed would elevate them to the status of the long-dead Vampire Queen. It was the High Priestess who'd developed the notion that the Naloxone walked amongst the Endophyn, declaring that if they continued to sacrifice them to the pot on a daily basis, that eventually they would consume one and inherit eternal life, a gift that had been bestowed upon the Naloxone by the Vampire Queen, through her death.

But till this day nothing the sisters did, would cause the Naloxone to stray from the isolation of their mountain fortress, to freely wander among the Endophyn. Primarily they feared for their safety, knowing it would be near impossible to disguise their wings. It was only the arrogance of the High Priestess and her desire to be crowned Blood Queen, that had forced Halloween and Almanac to breach the centuries-old rules, rules they had been responsible for introducing, in order to protect their young family.

Due to their number, the elder sisters and their mutated offspring were not threatened by the invasion of two Naloxone, and even if they killed a thousand or more of their minions before they were overrun and captured, it would have little or no impact on their dominion. This was a message from their Gods, it was the first time since the seeds of doubt had been sown that the Blood Princesses had seen evidence of the opportunity prophesized by the High Priestess, they were overjoyed that Naloxone now walked among the Endophyn, who was slowly but surely falling into her trap.

And all she saw was her vision of becoming the 'Blood Queen' written on the walls.
