jungwon has been crushing on his sunghoon hyung ever since he was transferred in this school.

he was lost during that time, completely unfamiliar with the place and he was sure that he was already late for his first class. but with the help of sunghoon, he was able to make his arrival at his class room.

he claims that it was love at first sight.

so seeing sunghoon giving heart eyes to someone else annoyed him. he stood from outside sunghoon's classroom, peeking at the window, as he watch sunghoon laughing and talking with someone else.

he was supposed to give sunghoon the cookies he baked with his mom last night.

"you know it looks creepy if someone is watching your every move, right?" he was startled when someone spoke so sudden beside him.

"don't scare me like that." he scowl at the blonde. "can't you leave a broken boy alone?"

jay chuckle at the way he says the last sentence full of feelings. again, jungwon was being dramatic.

"you like sunghoon?"

"is that not obvious to you already? ah jay hyung, you're really slow. keep up will you?"

"sometimes I really hate it when you open your mouth."

jungwon only giggles at him before going back to looking at sunghoon and sunoo.

he knows sunoo. who wouldn't know him when he's so friendly and full of smiles with everyone he cross paths with.

"aahh seeing the person you like admire someone else is so upsetting."

jungwon looks at jay in surprised. he was perplexed of what the older has just said.

"do you.. also like sunghoon hyung?" jungwon ask cautiously.

jay then stares at him in disbelief before letting out fits of laughter.

"no, I don't." jay answered. he was still trying to hold back a laugh. "he's just my bestfriend."

"oh then you like sunoo hyung?" jungwon's eyes lit up in joy which was opposite of jay's who looks frustrated now. "okay then I have a plan. let's form an alliance."

"an alliance? what?"

"you, jay hyung, will form an alliance with me. we shall do everything in order for them not to end up liking each other. we'll share updates and then brainstorm plans. also we really should start making a move on the person we like, me with sunghoon hyung and you with sunoo hyung. ah I can't believe you like sunoo hyung." jungwon shake his head in amusement.

"I think you've mistaken my--"

"let's start tomorrow! meet me later after class, okay? bye hyung!"

and that's what really happened. they always met up so they could give each other updates.

"you're close with sunghoon hyung, whil I'm close with sunoo hyung. this wouldn't be hard for us." jungwon says.

so when jay rarely gives him any updates, he felt upset.

"seriously hyung you gotta cooperate with me if we want this to work. I've been giving you updates about sunoo hyung, I wish you'd do the same."

"but I don't need updates about sunoo."

"must be because you are close with him already." jungwon frowns at him. "I wish I could say the same with me and sunghoon hyung. I still get shy around him even if he's so welcoming with me."

"why do you like sunghoon?" a question that jay has been meaning to ask.

he then saw how jungwon's lips formed into a huge smile. "he's good looking and really nice. anyone would like him."

"how about me? people say I'm also good looking and nice. why not like me instead?"

jay's words caught jungwon off guard. he couldn't form any answer. why was jay asking him that? his mind was in a haze.

the only thing that got him back to his senses was jay's laugh. "forget about what I said. I was only messing with you."

jungwon let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

"oh haha you're so annoying, hyung." that sounded awkward.

"but fine, I'll help you with him. I wasn't really taking this alliance of ours seriously at first but now I will."

but the day after that, jungwon came running to him with tears in his eyes.

jay was standing alone with his phone on his hand when someone suddenly clings himself to him.

it was jungwon.

"jay hyung!" he cries.

"what happened?" jay ask. he was very surprise to see the younger like this.

jungwon didn't answer, well he couldn't from all the crying he's making, and just continued hugging jay instead. he has his head burried on the older's chest while he cry his eyes out.

jay resorts to just letting him cry and wait 'till jungwon speaks. it only took him three minutes to wait anyway because jungwon pulled away from him, wiping his tears away.

"I'm sorry, hyung. that was so sudden of me." he sniffs.

"it's okay. why were you crying anyway?"

jungwon answered in pout. "sunghoon hyung told me that him and sunoo hyung are already dating."

oh, jay still didn't know about that. he hasn't seen sunghoon today.

"I'm so sad about it, hyung. sunghoon hyung was my first crush."

jay stares at him for a few seconds before holding him by the hand.

"let's go somewhere. I'll help you feel better."

jungwon let jay take him wherever. he wasn't in the mood to attend classes anyways and it was a good thing the school guard let them pass, jay had to bribe him though.

now here he is, happily eating an ice cream. he was surprise that jay knows where his favorite ice cream shop was.

"thanks, hyung. I am feeling a bit better now." jungwon smiles at him. "well I can't do anything about it anyway. guess I'll just support their relationship."

"yeah, you should." jay nods.

"how about you? you don't look upset finding out about it. I thought you like sunoo hyung?"

jay chuckles. "I never said I like him."

"but the day when--"

"you didn't let me finish my sentence and then ran off."

"oh sorry." jungwon wanted to hit himself. he felt embarrassed.

"it's okay."

but they've been meeting a lot these days, why didn't jay corrected him?

"then why didn't you tell me during our first meeting as allies?"

"I wanted to have an excuse to meet up with you."

"w-what?" jungwon almost fell from his chair out of surprise. "what do you mean?"

"jungwon, you're the one I was referring to. not sunoo, not anyone else, you're the one that I like."

and if you saw how red jungwon's cheeks were, just agree to him that it wasn't a blush and that it was just because of how cold the temperature was inside the shop.
