And that's where the fight started....

Kanji's pov-

I faced Mizuki kunai ready in my hand. Mizuki merely laughed and cocked his head to the side, making him look crazy. I took a step back, but regretted it. Pain soared through my back and my stomach, I groaned holding my wounds to stop the blood from flowing out so fast. Mizuki took a dozen kunai's out and threw them at me, I raised my arm and blocked some. The ones I couldn't block were now wedged in my flesh, I flinched in pain but still stood. I ran at him and sliced his arm, we got into a taijustu fight.

I raised my leg and kicked towards Mizuki's head. I missed, he took the chance to stab me with a kunai, stabbing my arm. I punched his stomach, making him bend slightly, I took this chance to kick him. I lifted my leg and brought it down on Mizuki's back. His face hit the ground, he growled and threw several punches at my face. I dodge the hits, one hit made me step back, I tripped and struggled to stand. Mizuki punched my stomach, I screamed in agony and clutched my bleeding wound. I grimaced in pain and looked up at Mizuki.

"Hah, already over? You stupid weakling.." Mizuki spat kicking my side.

I shrieked in pain once again and fell face first on the ground, I turned my head seeing Mizuki coming closer to me slowly.

"Humph..I could use you to lure Naruto out, but you'll be in so much pain" he said smirking evilly

No..he can't.. I can't let him.. I tried standing but I couldn't find my footing, I merely fell once again. Mizuki was only getting closer and closer, until he was hovering over my battered body.

"Farewell" he said.

I soon lost myself to the darkness...

Iruka's pov

I had just transformed into Naruto, to confuse Mizuki, when I saw Mizuki disguised as me. I scoffed inwardly, idiot.

"Naruto! Quickly!! Give me the scroll!! It's what Mizuki's after!!" Mizuki yelled

I glared at him, and threw myself at him knocking his breath away. I skidded on the ground while Mizuki fell harshly. I panted, before narrowing my eyes.

"...y-you...what's wrong, Naruto?" Mizuki asked.

The imposter growled and finally Mizuki changed back into himself.

"how did you know I wasn't Iruka?!" Mizuki yelled enraged

I chuckled and released the justsu, "because I am!"

Mizuki smirked, "...I see"

"hee-hee-hee-hee! So noble! Saving your parents murderer.... And for what? What happens if we let him live?" Mizuki asked grinning

"then maybe the scroll is safe from a complete scumbag" I spat

"you're a fool. Naruto and I are two of a kind." Mizuki stated

"two of a kind?" I asked

Mizuki smirked and said, "I can use that scroll to achieve the same kind of limitless power! The demon within him hungers for that kind of strength! You were right to fear him...despise him..."

"Heh, but not Naruto. Not the boy. For him, I have nothing but respect. He's an excellent student.....he works with all his might... But sometimes, even so, he's awkward, clumsy... A screw-up... People have mocked and shunned him..and it's given him empathy. He knows what it is to be in pain. That boy is no longer your demon fox... He is... A citizen of Konaha-gakure village..UZAMAKI NARUTO!" I yelled

"aww! This is so sweet! Just hearing you say so makes me feel all warm and fuzzy!" Mizuki yelled sarcastically

"now say goodbye" Mizuki yelled as he prepared to throw a WM shuriken at me... (Windmill shuriken)

So, this is it..

Naruto appeared in front of me and head butted Mizuki, causing Mizuki to fly back. Naruto...?!

"keep away from Iruka-sensei... Or I'll KILL YOU!" Naruto yelled

"stupid kid...should have stayed...away!!" Mizuki yelled

"get out of here! Save yourself!" I yelled to Naruto

He didn't listen, Naruto continued glaring at Mizuki.

"loudmouth brat!! I can kill you with one blow, or I can kill your friend!" Mizuki threatened.

Both me and Naruto froze at the last part. He was keeping Kanji hostage!

"Give me back my friend!" Naruto yelled, power surrounding him.

Mizuki's eyes widened in horror, he shook and looked for a way to escape.

"where is he?!" Naruto yelled

"h-he's over there" Mizuki stuttered out, pointing out.

I looked and saw Kanji stuck to a tree by kunai's... No... Is she dead?! (Remember Iruka knows since kanji told him at the academy)

"Bring it on, you jerk! Anything you throw at me I'll give back times a thousand!" Naruto yelled

"you're welcome to try, little fox!" Mizuki yelled

"shadow clone justsu!" Naruto yelled.

my eyes widened to the size of saucers, Naruto did the shadow clone jutsu, but he created at least 2 thousand!

SKIP- Naruto beat up Mizuki

"heh..I guess I got carried away..." Naruto mumbled scratching the back of his neck.

I smiled, "Naruto, come here. I've got a present for you."

I took off my head and and wrapped it around Naruto's forehead.

"now sensei..may I-?"

"Yes, Naruto. You can open your eyes." I said

"congratulations...graduate! To celebrate this, I'll take you out. We can go for ramen!" I exclaimed

"but we need to get...." I didn't finish I just looked Kanji's way. Naruto paled, he stood up and ran towards Kanji. He was pulling out the kunai's slowly, one by one. Every so often kanji would twitch in pain, or just groan. I pulled the last kunai out and threw it, this woke Kanji.

"Er...N-Naruto...I-Iruka-sensei..your o-ok..." Kanji said with a small smile.

I didn't notice that Naruto was crying, he jumped at her and wrapped his arms around her. She groaned but slowly wrapped her arms around her.

"don't..don't that again! I don't want to lose my first friend!" Naruto exclaimed.

I smiled sadly, and rested my hand on her shoulder. Kanji looked at me and smiled.

"kanji you did a brave thing, protecting us both, but don't do it again.." I said

She nodded weakly and fell unconscious once again. I sighed.

"Naruto let's take him to the hospital.." I said

He nodded and carried her bridal style with ease. I kept glancing at both of them, just to take precautions.

A few minutes later, Naruto was slowing down, until he completely stopped. I looked over his shoulder and saw red chakra oozing from his hand into kanji. I gasped, the nine-tails chakra?! Why would it be fleeing into kanji like that?!

"Iruka-sensei..why is Kanji healing his self?" Naruto asked confused

"Naruto, he's not healing himself, your healing him" I told naruto

Naruto was shocked at first, but when he noticed Kanji was getting better. He somehow made the nine-tails chakra heal her faster, until she was completely healed. Kanji groaned and snuggled into Naruto's chest, Naruto blushed. Hm...just wait till he knows Kanji's a girl. I smirked at the thought.

"mm...so comfy..." Kanji mumbled into Naruto's chest.

That made Naruto blush harder than before. I sweat dropped, we should take him home...

"Um..let's take him home Naruto" I said

Naruto nodded and sprinted off.. Oh boy.

Lucky for us we bumped into Sanji and handed over kanji, I really will miss my students. They be full fledged shinobi's starting tomorrow.
