Arnav's POV

Walking through the corridors of this office is making me get that warm feeling of Khushi being near me. I haven't seen her in 6 months... I miss her... but I also hate her... I don't care about her... I am about to go to the receptionist when I see Khushi. She is looking so modern... her entire look has changed ... she has changed. The way she is looking at the receptionist with so much confidence... it tells me a lot of things. My smile soon vanishes when I see Nk staring at Khushi. I can't believe this... My legs immediately travel towards her with anger clearly visible on my face. I grab her arm and forcefully take her down the corridor while she cries in pain.

Khushi (upset) - Let me go...

Ignoring her screams I take her to one of the rooms. I am about to scream at her when she starts shaking me.

Me (angry) - What the... Khushi...

Khushi (confused) - Sir...

Feeling the continuous shaking I get angry and I opened my eyes, realising that I am at the same place that I was in a few minutes ago and Khushi isn't at the receptionist anymore and the person who I am holding on to is a guy staring at me with fear. I immediately let go of him and he looks at me with fear in his eyes.

Person (scared) - Sir... you are requested to the meeting room...

I follow him towards the corridors and I find myself in a room full of chairs and a projector at the front. I quietly sit at the sit that has my name on it and to my shock, the person sitting beside me is Khushi, however, she hasn't noticed me yet as her eyes are on the projector. I ignore the fact that Khushi is beside me and I try to focus on the presentation, however, no matter how much I try, my eyes go to Khushi.

After 2 boring hours

Presenter - Thank you, everyone, for joining us in this meeting, we should take a little break before Mr Raizada does his presentation.

Finally, realising I am beside her she turns towards me but then turns away and leaves with Lavanya to the lunch hall. Wow, Lavanya in a saree that's a first. I leave the hall and follow them to the cafeteria.

Khushi (angry) - What do you want?

Me (annoyed) - I need to talk to you...

Khushi (angry) - I am hungry and I have no time for stupid talks...

I angrily grab her arm but she pushes me away.

Khushi (angry) - Be in your limits, Mr Raizada... I will file a case against you...for physically assaulting me...

Me (angry) - What the... you can't a file against me... I am your husband...

Khushi (angry) - My ex-husband... who has already moved on in his life... and secondly, there is no law in this country that states that I can't file a case against my ex-husband...

Me (angry) - What the...

My Khushi who was an innocent soul, this Khushi isn't my Khushi. My Khushi would never answer back to me. It has only been 6 months and looks at how she has changed. I angrily go to grab the food but on my way, I meet Lavanya who smile seeing me.

Lavanya (smiling) - Hello ASR...

Me (annoyed) - Hey Lavanya... what are you doing with Khushi?

Lavanya (smiling) - We work together and live in the same house... that's why...

Oh so, Khushi lives with Lavanya. Who else does she live with?

Me (curious) - Who else lives with you?

Lavanya (smiling) - For now, it's just Me, Khushi, Nk and Aryan...

Me (angry) - Nk! Who is Aryan?

Khushi interrupts the conversation and stares at me with anger.

Khushi (angry) - Don't interfere in my life... as you have lost that right... and Aryan is the person who I love the most on this planet.

Me (angry) - Even more than me...

Khushi (angry) - YES!

I look at the retrieving figure feeling annoyed and upset. Who on earth is Aryan? Does Khushi now love Aryan? Then what relationship do Nk and Khushi share? Ughh, I have to find this out but before that, I wonder if she has changed her name. I am about to talk to one of the presenters when they call us all in. I grab the food near to me and I walk inside.
