Later that night, Madison was sitting in her room, snacking on a few granola bars as she does her homework and listens to her music and full blast. After about an hour into her playlist, she feels someone tap on her shoulder, which startles her as she pauses her music as she looks up at the person.

"What are you doing here, Derek?" She asks as she takes her headphones out of her tears. 

"Well I thought I'd come and check up on you considering you weren't anywhere with any of us tonight," Derek replies as he plops himself onto her bed. Madison rolls her eyes as she slams her books closed with her magic. 

"Yeah, I think that was kind of on purpose. No one told me about anything." She looks up at Derek and smiles at him. "God, you're talking and hanging out with me more than my own boyfriend is. I hate to say that I might've been right."

"Right about what?" Derek asks, seeming curious. 

"That he's cheating on me. I mean, I don't know who it's with yet, but the other night, he was over and we were doing homework. Then we started making out, but then he said that he needed to meet up with Stiles to talk about things, which I knew was a lie because when I suggested that I'd go with him, he sounded scared when he replied."

"I think I might know who it could be," Derek says, his voice sounding a little hesitant. Madison furrows her eyebrows in confusion as she looks in his eyes, telling him to go on. Derek lets out a sigh as he breaks eye contact with Madison for a split second before looking back up at her before saying "Allison." 

Madison's face falls as she breaks eye contact with Derek and tries to hold back the tears that she feels coming on. "Are you sure?" Madison asks, her voice sounding almost hurt. 

"Not really, but- I don't know. I hope I'm wrong." Madison looks up at him and smiles as she shakes off her feelings. 

"It's whatever," Madison answers as she grabs her homework and gets off her bed to put her stuff on her desk. "What happened tonight? I heard you turned Isaac into a werewolf." Madison turns to face Derek and sees that he's leaning back on her pillows with his legs up on her bed and he's looking at her with a smile on her face. 

"What?" She asks him as she walks up to him. She sits down next to him on her bed and looks up at him with a smile on her face. 

"Nothing," Derek replies as he shakes his head and smiles back at her. "What were you asking me about?" 

"I asked what happened tonight," Madison replies as she lays her head on Derek's chest. Derek hesitates, at first, but then wraps his arms around the brunette before replaying the events that had happened that night. 

"He almost killed Stiles?" Madison asks as she shoots up from Derek's chest. 

"He tried to, but I got to him before he could do anything," Derek replies as his hand rests on Madison's hip. 

"Well thank you for saving one of the few people in my life that I know I can truly trust," Madison says to him with a smile on her face before laying back down on his chest. 

"You're welcome," Derek replies with a smile on his face as well. Madison can feel his heart start to race, but it only puts a smile to her face as she feels her eyes close, and seconds later, she's fast asleep in Derek's arms.

The entire pack was fighting off what looked like to be a huge pack of alpha's. Scott was knocked back by the werewolf he was fighting and when he lifted his head, his eyes were red. He shakes his head and his eyes go back to golden yellow. 

A few seconds later, the alpha he was fighting off was fighting with Derek. He went to help Derek, and was still on the ground, and he clawed at the other werewolves leg to make him off balance. It had worked, and he went to tumble off the hole that was in the floor. As he did, he grabbed Derek and brought him down with him. 

It sent everyone on the floor into a panic as they watched the two werewolves fall to their death.

Madison shoots up from her bed and realizes that it was all just a dream and that it wasn't really happening. She looks around to see that she's no longer in Derek's arms and that he left her room. 

Madison sighs as she gets underneath her covers and tries to fall back asleep after having a dream that felt way too real.

It was the next day and Madison was headed to p.e. as she felt her phone ring. She pulls it out of her back pocket and looks at the caller ID. Seeing that it's not a number she recognizes, she still answers it and puts it to her ear. 

"Hello?" She asks the person, hesitantly. 

"Hey," she hears Derek's voice reply. 

"How'd you get my number?" 

"I have my ways," Derek replies, which causes Madison to laugh. "So what are you doing right now?"

"I'm headed to class," Madison answers with a smile on her face. 

"What class?"

"P.e. Why?"

"I was just curious."

"Look, I have to go, but I will call you later? Or you can come to my house later tonight if you want. Either way, I'm good."

"Well I guess I'll see you later then, Torrez," Derek replies before hanging up. Madison laughs to herself before entering the girls locker room and quickly gets dressed before joining her class in the gym. 

After the bell rings, Coach gives a quick tutorial on what they're doing that day and then starts naming off pairs to go up and climb the rock wall. 

After a while, he calls Allison and Scott's names and the two walk up to the wall and get their gear on before climbing up the wall and start talking to each other. Madison watches their moves ever so slightly to see if she can catch anything between them that shows there's something between them. 

"Did he just look at her ass?" Madison asks Stiles, who was standing on her left, quietly. 

"What?" Stiles asks, seeming like he wasn't paying attention. 

"Scott- did he just look at Allison's ass?" 

"I don't know. Why?"

Madison sighs in frustration as she crosses her arms over her chest before replying "No reason." After her talk with Stiles, she sees Allison kick Scott's foot, which causes him to fall down to the mat, making everyone in the gym laugh. 

Coach sits down next to Scott's head as he's laughing and says "McCall, I don't know why, but your pain gives me a special kind of joy." He pushes himself off of the mat as he's recovering from laughing so hard. And then he says "Alright, next two. Torrez, Carter. Let's go!" Madison sighs in frustration as she walks up to the wall and puts her harness on. 

She looks to her right and sees Carter looking at her with a concerned look on his face. "What?" She snaps at him, her tone showing how frustrated and pissed off she is. 

"Nothing," he lies as he goes back to putting on his harness. Madison sighs before climbing up the wall quickly and pushes herself off of it once she reaches the top, letting herself fall down and land on her feet. Once she removes her harness, she walks away from the mat and storms out of the gym, causing everyone to turn their focus towards the doors she stormed out of. 

"I'll check up on her coach," Carter says to him before jogging out of the gym and going to talk to Madison. 

He finds her pacing the hallway outside gym doors and his face shows how concerned he is. "What's wrong, Madison?" He asks her, which causes her to stop pacing and to look up at him. 

"I think Scott is cheating on me," Madison replies bluntly as she goes back to pacing the hallway. "No, I know Scott is cheating on me." 

"How do you know that?" 

"I just do. That, and I caught him looking at your sister's ass while they were on the rockwall together."

"You think he's cheating on you with her?"

"Yeah, I do," Madison answers as she stops her pacing and finally lets the tears fall down her face as she makes eye contact with Carter. 

"Oh, Mads," Carter says with a soft tone in his voice before pulling her in for a hug. Madison's sobs get louder and harder as she wraps her arms around Carter. He rubs her back in comfort as he tries to hold back his anger. "Do you want me to beat his ass for you?" 

Madison laughs into his chest before pushing away from him and replies "You know he'd definitely win that fight." Madison wipes the tears off of her face before looking up at Carter, who was smiling down at her. 

"I know. I just wanted to cheer you up. And clearly, me sending myself to death just about does it." 

"No, Carter, that's not-" Before Madison could finish her sentence, the gym doors swung open and she made eye contact with Scott. 

"Are you okay?" He asks her, sounding genuinely concerned. 

"I'll manage," Madison replies with a straight face before going to the girls locker room to change out of her gym clothes.

I'm sorry for the Scott cheating on Madison storyline. Please forgive me. I feel bad for her as I am writing it, so don't think I'm some kind of sadist enjoying the pain that she's being put through. I promise I love her.
