CHAPTER 25
Anuradha silently watched the video Shika showed in her mobile. A five minutes video of Anuradha and Manohar singing just a few hours ago.
"Where is this been uploaded?" Was the first thing Anuradha asked.
A sudden fear build up in her, she just hope it wasn't in any public social sites that would easily reach Kavitha. Knowing Kavitha, the situations that she might evoke with the video in hand petrified Anuradha.
"College's social site" Shika replied.
That relieved her, the college social site was only meant for students interaction thus for Kavitha to access the site is almost impossible.
In the first minute of the video, Anuradha felt extremely embarrassed as it had the part where she sang it in a very irritating and high pitched voice because of the growing frustration as the singing session wasn't coming to an end.
Thankfully, the remaining video duration was their last round of singing.
"Who took the video?" Anuradha asked.
"Lucas." Christopher answered. "Our junior in the club. By the way butterfly, when did this happened?"
*-*-*-*-*
Lucas the new boy who joined the college and the club just last semester now sat in front of his six super seniors. In that group, two in particular looked dangerously calm, one sat across him and the other stood far at the corner of the room watching the video again and again.
Lucas was dragged to one of the classrooms by Cameron and Christopher. The reason, the video.
There was pin drop silent in the room as everyone waited for either one to speak up first. As time passed, Lucas begun to get nervous as none spoke anything for the last forty minutes.
"Can someone say something. You'll look very scary today" Lucas spoke out, squirmed in his seat.
Clearing his throat, Manohar spoke. "Okay, so... What were you doing at the college garden at four in the morning?"
"I- I used to wake up early for jog_"
"Jog? At four in the morning" Anuradha exclaimed, from the corner of the room.
"I mean I- I sleep very early and wake up around 3.30 a.m."
"I don't believe you" Christopher joined.
"Say something that makes sense, Lucas" Manoj said.
"Were you there all the while?" Anuradha asked.
Lucas seemed to be very apprehensive about the entire situation of serious questionaires, Manohar got up from his seat and walked to Lucas. "You are perspiring like you did a crime. Chill, Lucas. We are not going to rag you" Manohar tapped his shoulder as the rest broke their serious expression with laughter.
"Seriously? You guys scared me, I really thought you people will be punishing me for the video. Trust me, I'm admire you two. That's the reason why I followed you both last night when I saw you going out of the library and got excited about the duet you gonna sing. And I recorded it. It was so awesome, I just had to share it with others" Lucas spoke in a breath.
"Take a deep breath, Lucas. You have spoken a lot at once." Shika said. "See I'm not the only one noticing their unspoken chemistry" she whispered to Manoj.
"Anyway, I'm going to speak to Anuradha about this. You talk to Karthik"
The first thought that came for Manohar about the video was the reach of the song, many liked it despite of the language differences. He also realized that the video gone viral among the club members wasn't just for the song but also for who was in the video along him.
Manohar made a remind to himself to thank Anuradha for always being there to help him out all these while.

They were almost nearing the end of their college life and while many were creating memories, Christopher was hell-bent to bring Anuradha out before they leave the college for good.
"Butterfly!" Christopher called Anuradha who looked tired and exhausted. Anuradha was never like this in her last semesters, no matter how worn out she was, Anuradha would always look cheerful.
"What on earth happened to you?" Christopher asked completely astonished with her appearance.
"Assignment disaster happened. All my assignment saved in my laptop went down the drain" she said glumly.
"How?"
"Someone bumped onto me when I was climbing up the stairs and I dropped my laptop, down two floors. Boom... the laptop went into pieces." She said with no much energy.
"Oppsss... where are the 'pieces' now?"
She opened up her sling bag and showed him the broken pieces she dumped in her bag earlier. Taking out a couple of big pieces and checking for any external damages, both headed out to retrieve her projects.
Anuradha thanked Christopher for the nth number of time for helping her get back her assignments that took her almost two weeks to complete it, in no time.
"You know we are almost done with our studies" Christopher said, as they walked down the street.
"What if I say 'no' to whatever you are going to ask" Significantly, Anuradha knew what Christopher was about to ask.
"I will end up being bachelor my whole life"
That statement from Christopher somehow did the work, she knew he is a man of his words and when Christopher can stay for three long years without entertaining other girls who were interested in him. She doubt if he would allow even one lady after they leave college.
By the end of their so-called date, Christopher realised only one thing. The feeling for Anuradha only grew stronger than before and he also understood that Anuradha don't have the same feel for him as he has for her.
But that will not stop Christopher from loving her. His butterfly.

The final week is here and it will be the end of their college life. As much as all were rushing to submit their assignments and sitting for their final exams, none stopped them from creating enough memories to bring back home.
It's the final lap and all will be saying good bye to their three long years of friendship and leave the building that made a special place in them forever.
Gathered in their usual spot, Manohar suggested on having a small farewell party before they leave for their hometown.
"Sound like a good idea" Shika beamed.
"Why small? Let's make it big" Anuradha said, getting nods from all.
Wrapping up their discussion, all agreed on having a farewell party like how they used to do for their Fresher's welcoming party. This will be the first time the college having a farewell party in big scale which usually done in smaller scale with only certain groups involved.
The Drama & Dance Club along with Music Club presidents, Anuradha and Cameron did a quick discussion with their respective treasurer. Deliberating in using two-third of the money from each club for the event and if the expenses exceeds their budget, Anuradha assured to chip in when needed.
"Are you completely done with your exams and submissions?" Cameron asked Anuradha who were waiting for the rest in the Music Faculty lobby.
"Submission done! One more exam left and I will be done with this by tomorrow afternoon" Anuradha laid back on the couch sighing.
"Cool! I have an exam later in the evening and I will be done too." Cameron took his notes out to revise. "Once done I will start making posters for our farewell event"
"Awesome! ... And don't forget to put Golden Dragon on the poster this time" Anuradha laughed recalling the earlier days. "Remember Golden Dragon, Cameron?"
"Why wouldn't I? That was the best of the names we have given to anyone" he said, throwing a sweet to Anuradha who was looking at him as if she had not been given food.
"Hehe... Thank you handsome"
*-*-*-*
"I have got some request from our beloved juniors, they want you both to perform at the farewell party" Shika yelled from the entrance of the dance studio.
"Who?" Christopher asked.
"The RadhaManohar duo..." Cameron followed behind Shika.
"To perform on the song that has gone viral within hours of being uploaded" Manoj added.
"I'm not good in singing. Shika is good, she will sing with Manohar."
"Yes, you are going to sing Anu. I don't want to be chased out for singing your portion in the song" Shika refused.
"It's not that we are going to sing throughout the event, just one song. And I don't want people to hate the song just because I let Shika sing" Manohar ran away from Shika who was standing next to him, thankfully he manage to escape from the book Shika threw at him.
"Since when the calm Shika turns like the aggressive Radha?"
"Me? Aggressive? So now you are calling me aggressive.. huh?" Before Anuradha could grab any of the stuffs in front of her, Cameron, Christopher and Manoj quickly pushed the things away from her and stood far.
"See!" Manohar squeaked running even further to the end of the studio.
"Fine, I will not throw things at anyone or try to break heads and will be less aggressive. Okay?" Anuradha vowed, with a smirk.
