The egg slowly moved and a crack appeared, then another one, and another one until the egg broke open and a sea dragon emerged. It slowly blinked but looked around to find no one, no eggs, no parents and no other small dragonets it kept looking around until it decided to come out of the water.

the cold night wind hit it like a big block of ice but it slowly made its way to a big rock that sparkled as the moon hit it. The small dragon slept on the rock until the blinding light of the sun woke it up. It's eyes slowly opened as it looked around and started to drag its tail along the sandy beach with its 2 legs. It walked along the shore looking for another dragon but couldn't find one. 

9 long years later they had learn to live by themself, without having to rely on any other dragon. They learned to fly, hunt, hide and all the rest alone. The lack of dragons eventually started to bother them again so they flew further in search of hope that had been dead for far to long.
