Leaving

Shelby's pov
Why did he leave me alone? Why did he make me cry? Why... did he do this? Why did he leave? No more questions. Just keep running. I heard my friends behind me.

"SHELBY! LET HIM BE!"

"HE WANTS TO LEAVE!"

They keep yelling. I never have run faster in my life. The airport. Let me make it.

I made it. To the takeoff. I looked up. The plane covered the night, starry sky.

"CORY! NO!" I yelled.

I began to move. I ran after it.

"STOP! STOP! STOP!"

I keep yelling. Giant droplets poured down my face. I keep running. The plane was far away. I keep running. Keep running. Don't leave. Don't. Leave. Me.

"CORY! CORY!" It was out of sight. But I keep running. I keep going. I ran into a corn field. I keep running.

"CORY! CORY!" I didn't stop screaming at the top of my lungs.

Keep running. Loud snaps. Horrible crunching. I keep running. Keep running.

I couldn't run anymore.

My breath was heavy and loud. Tears soaked my clothes.

"CORY!!! CORY! CORY!!!!" Nothing. No body came.

I sat there for hours. Midnight was past. I heard soft walking behind me.

"You called?"

I looked behind me.

"C-Cory...?" I stuttered.

"Yeah, it's me. I missed my fligh- Shubs, are you crying?" Cory asked.

Cory's pov
I don't understand what's wrong. She tackled me into a hug.

"CORY! Cory! CORY! CORY!" She keep crying harder and harder.

"Whoa whoa whoa!" I picked up her chin off me. "Are you ok? What happened? Why are you crying?"

She looked at me. "I-I thought.... you left..." she mumbled.

"I was going to..." I was looking her dead in the eyes.

"Me... alone..." she finished.

"Hey Shubs... we could of still talk over Skype..." I tried to comfort her.

"Don't scary me like that..." She didn't listen.

I had enough. I kissed her. She kissed back. I pulled away.

"Never going to leave without you."

"I love you."

"Love ya too Shubs. Love ya too."
