chapter fifteen,
everyone adores you (at least i do)!

IT WAS THE DAY OF HALEY AND WILL'S WEDDING and the kids had less than a few hours before it started. Jackie was running things like a tight ship and she needed things to be perfect. Samira was on hair and makeup duty, Kia and the Garcia brothers were on cupcake duty, and Paige and Liam were helping with decorations.

Meanwhile, Jackie and Brady were in the garden, picking some flowers for the table displays. "I'm just hoping this wedding goes well. Everything needs to be perfect." Jackie stated as she picked some lavender. "Relax, Jackie. I'm sure everything will be fine. Okay?"

"I guess you're right. Thank you for helping me out by the way."

"No problem."

After hours and hours of preparation, the wedding was all set as the guests made their way to their seats. Alex and Danica were sitting next to each other, talking.

"Hi, boys." Jackie stated as she walked up to where the rest of the Walter's were standing.  "You look great, New York." Brady stated.  "Thanks, Texas.  You don't look too bad yourself."

"Do you want to sit together?"

"Sure.  Catch you guys later."  As Brady and Jackie walked to the chairs, Lee and Samira followed suit. Soon enough, the priest started to speak.  Haley walked down the aisle, Will and her said their vows, and were officially married.

Night quickly fell as the guests started to slow dance.  Jackie was still at her table, smiling at all the guests dancing.  "Care for this dance?" Brady asked her.

"Yes."  The two slowly waltzed on the floor, smiling at one another.  "Hi." Brady stated.

"Hi?" The two laughed, smiling once more.  "You looked amazing tonight."

"Really? You think I look amazing?"

"Of course! You're a beautiful girl.  How could I not?"
Jackie felt butterflies in her stomach, her cheeks feeling warm.  "Well, you looked handsome tonight.  I have to ask, though.  How are you not dating anyone?"

"I guess I haven't met the right person yet."

"I'm sure you will someday."

"Hopefully."  The two quickly noticed Kia and Issac dancing together, smiling.  "You know what I think?" Brady asked as he spun her around.

"What are you thinking about?"

"I think Isaac has a little crush on Kia."

"I think you mean a big crush on her.  He's really obvious to everyone but her."

"So you've noticed it too? I'm just waiting for Kia to like him back so they can get together.  I'm kind of waiting for their enemies to lovers story to happen."

"Me too.  But we can only hope for now." And maybe, just maybe Jackie was hoping for something more as well. But she didn't want it to happen right away. After all, she was still dealing with the loss of those she loved.

But she would soon have to be stripped away from it all again.

They're so cute my babies 🫶🏾 like they're so soft with each other 😭 Jackie deserves it sm (I think Alex was really sweet and better for Jackie 🫶🏾 also, Cole is nothing like Conrad and I will stand on that ☺️ like Alex may seem like he's going to be like Jeremiah but I think he's more than that 😭 he's just a really shy guy... just like Conrad 😭 Cole is an asshole and I can never rest without remembering that I wrote a whole BOOK for that man 🧍🏾‍♀️but then I remember that Miss Aurora is coming back to me next month... he's so lucky he's with a baddie because if he isn't better in season two, I WILL be making him lose that said baddie because I have that much beef with that blonde haired, annoying ass boy)
