George's Point of View
"I've finally figured it out," I said.
"Figured out what?" DJ came up from behind me and started kissing my jawline.
I let her. "Nothing. There was... an issue with something for one of the stadiums we're performing at. I just fixed it, I better go tell Andy." Of course, this was a lie. I had been thinking about tomorrow.
I stood up as fast as I could and made my way outside of her room to the front door. She followed close behind and then lightly yanked my wrist to get me to turn around. "Leaving so soon?"
I looked at her for a few seconds, then snogged her good. Her hands went to my hair, letting me know she was enjoying that.
I pulled off of her after I realized she did distract me for a minute or two. Damn, this girl is making me nuts.
Soon enough, she'll get what she's been wanting.
"I have to go." I gave her one last good kiss before reaching for the door nob. "Plus, it's late. You have school tomorrow and need a good night's sleep."
She scoffed. "Okay. I'll see you soon."
"Yes you will." I winked, leaving her with a confused face.
Jeena's Point of View
"When he left this morning after I told him 'I'll see you soon', he said, 'yes you will'. What the heck does that mean?"
"Who?" I just opened the door from coming back from work.
"George." She patted the spot on the couch next to her.
I had nowhere else to go, so I slumped down and turned on the tv. "Did he say anything before that?"
She thought for a moment. "Yeah. He said I should go to bed. Jeena, It was six in the afternoon."
I did my best to hide the smirk that was straining to show itself. George had told me everything. His plan for tomorrow, I mean. Well, not his in-depth details... yuck. Sorry. I made sure he still had his key for here, and I'd take DJ out for the day. Of course, I wouldn't tire her out, but I'd make sure she was out of the house. I still had to figure out where we would go, though. Maybe I'd force her to get coffee or something.
"That's super odd. I wonder why he'd ask that." I played dumb.
She shrugged, but thankfully didn't protest from my response and continued watching the show I put on.
I little while later, heard my phone ringing, so I left DJ who was nearly asleep, and went into my room.
"Hello?" I said.
"It's me, your favorite person." Andy's tired voice said through the phone.
"Hey, baby," I sighed. "how was your day?"
"Boring, I had a lot of calls I had to make for the last of our tour in a few days. I would've rather you had been here with me."
I smiled. "Tomorrow night will be all for the both of us."
I heard him chuckle. "Yeah, we sure don't wanna be at your place tomorrow."
"Well, maybe we deserve it. We used to constantly make a lot of noise when DJ is here." I paused. "But I'm sure she would feel uncomfortable if she knew I could hear her."
"Maybe I should apologize," Andy said.
"You could, but it's not necessary."
Silence followed that, so I figured I could end off the call there. "Okay, I guess you're going to bed soon?"
I could hear him yawn before he answered. "Once you hang up, actually."
I sighed, seeing it was nearly ten. "Alright. I'll be over around, say 8?"
"Sounds good."
I hung up with a goodbye and went back to the couch, seeing DJ fell asleep. As the oh so polite friend I am, I picked up a pillow and whacked her as hard as I could. "Wake up. If you sleep here your back will be sore tomorrow morning."
She groaned in response and stood up. I watched her walk away without looking at me and walked into the hallway.
Once I heard her door close, I dug through the movies we had and found Jaws. I laughed at myself for picking a film I had seen so many times. I knew tomorrow I would regret doing this, but I figured this was a treat for myself since I studied for my science finals for nearly two hours. With, of course, some occasional distractions...
The intro started soon enough, and I turned down the volume to make sure I didn't cause any disturbance to DJ.
George's Point of View
"I'll be right back," I called out to Andy, who I probably had woken up. I was not tired at all. I was lying in bed fully clothed, not having any interest in falling asleep.
Here I am, driving to the closest tiny store, hoping that no one recognizes me. I did slick most of my hair back into a hat and put on a heavy coat, hoping that would make me look less like me.
I eventually found a supermarket with the parking lot nearly empty. thankfully, it was a 24/7 place. After all, it was nearly three in the morning.
When I walked in with the hood over my eyes, I spotted flowers almost instantly. I had no idea what her favorite kind were so I went basic and found the darkest red roses I could find. I honestly reconsidered getting something else, but honestly, those are probably the most romantic.
Did I need candles?
Actually, yes. That shouldn't even be a question.
I walked around with the car for a while trying to find an aisle that had candles.
"Excuse me?" Someone asked from behind me.
I turned around, cringing.
"Are you George Michael?" There was a girl who looked to be around fifteen or sixteen. She had the largest smile on her face.
I felt horrible to let her down, but I couldn't have her asking questions. I figured she also might cause a scene with the few other people here.
I cleared my throat and put on my best American voice. "Um, no. I'm sorry. But that's very flattering that you think I look like him."
Her eyes sunk. "Oh, okay. Well, have a nice... morning?"
I laughed and started walking away. I not only felt even worse, but silly for saying such a thing. 'That's flattering that you think I look like him'? What the hell kind of response is that?
I sighed, and turned around, seeing she was still there looking at birthday cards. I started walking over and she looked up at me, frowning.
"You got a pen and something for me to write on?" I asked, returning to my normal voice.
She recognized me immediately. I could tell she was about to scream, but I covered her mouth with my gloved hand. "Don't cause a scene, please. I need to get out of here without any attraction."
She nodded and was basically bouncing in her shoes with excitement. She pulled out a pertinent marker and a random notepad. I quickly wrote my signature, and she quietly thanked me, hugging me by surprise.
Before I could walk back to my cart she whispered, "By the way, whoever those roses are for, she's a very lucky girl. I'd kill to be her."
I smiled and gave her a salute. "She is very special."
I could tell she was eager to leave and tell every person on earth she met me. I was impatient to get home as soon as possible since I needed as much rest as I could get.
I adjusted my hat and hood and found what I was looking for. Did I go all out and get the candelabra's, or just find some scented ones?
I grabbed any candle I saw with a holder, not really thinking straight. I was delirious, and maybe I'd regret spending all of this money.
I guess anything for my DJ.
Once I finished my shopping trip, I packed up the car with every single bag I had and started the car.
Driving home was quick since almost no one was on the streets.
When I did get back to the hotel, I tried to be as quiet as I could, even though the crinkling bags didn't help.
Andy was somehow undisturbed by the time I got into bed, and now tired from the trip I had taken.
Tomorrow was going to be exhilarating.
DJ's Point of View
Jeena forced me to take a nap during lunch in Miss Smith's room. I ate my food first, of course. Well, more like inhaled It since Jeena was rushing me for whatever reason.
I didn't mind resting up for a few more minutes, since I was still a little tired.
"Five minutes, young lady."
I opened my eyes, feeling stiff from the ground. I struggled to sit up, and looked at the clock. "How long did I get?"
"Probably fifteen or twenty minutes." She said, opening the door.
I rubbed my eyes and picked up my school bag, thanking her for letting me sleep here. Which, I still didn't know why Jeena had forced me to.
She has been acting so weird today. She told me we were gonna go out somewhere after school. I think she mentioned something about caffeine.
I don't even drink coffee, so why would I be forced to now?
I walked into my sixth period class and saw Jeena waiting for me. I knew that because she was staring at the door the whole time.
"Come on! Sit." She begged.
"Why are you doing that?" I asked, after I sat down.
"Doing what?"
I rolled my eyes. "You're acting so weird! What is going on?"
She frowned. "No. I'm fine, are you okay?"
Okay, now I'm really confused. Am I still asleep?
Class was starting before I could ask further questions.
Jenna's Point of View
"Here, you'll love this." I handed DJ the drink I got for her. Not too much caffeine, but definitely not decaf. It was about seven forty five at night, and I had to take her out to random places before getting coffee. Of course, it was small. I didn't need her vomiting everywhere. Neither did George, really.
"I seriously don't wanna drink coffee at seven at night. I won't get to sleep." She complained.
"Oh, yes you will." I whispered under my breath.
She looked up, suspicious. "What was that?"
"I didn't say anything."
I looked out the window. I was shocked this coffee place was open so late. In fact, they weren't closing for another hour.
I wondered what DJ's room looked like now. I saw everything George bought. He showed me since he hid in my bathroom before DJ woke up. I figured I should tell Andy to work on doing the same for me.
I watched her finish the last of the coffee. She then stood up and threw it away all while looking at me. "Can we go yet? I think this caffeine is hitting me now."
I looked at my watch. "Sure."
I was nervous for DJ. She either had a hard time committing to things, or decided too fast. But I think since George probably decorated her entire room, she would forget any of her doubts about losing her virginity now. But then again even if she did say no, I'm sure George would be very understanding and wait. Although, I'm not sure how his horny self is holding up.
Andy told me how annoyed he has been the past week. Apparently he's always so tense, and not focused. Which, would kind of suck if he went on tour like that. I'd worry he'd cheat on her.
I saw our apartment building in view soon enough, I myself getting amped up. I'm sure I was bouncing in my seat, because DJ looked over at be with an extremely confused face.
DJ's Point of View
I didn't want to ask Jeena again what the hell was wrong. She was all energetic, and she didn't even have any coffee.
When she opened the door to our place, I sighed with relief and started walking to my room.
"I'll be back tomorrow. I'm staying with Andy." Jeena closed the door before I could even respond.
"She's so weird." I said to myself, then opening the door.
Oh my god.
Almost my entire room was covered in rose petals, while the rest of it had lit candles. Not one lamp was on. It was golden, and gorgeous.
But the most gorgeous thing there.
George.
"Hi princess." He said. "I've been waiting for you."
