Male!SCP-682 x Female! Reader
《A/n: Requested by: Bonniegirl1010 》
As soon as you were accepted into the case, you had been completely intrigued by the SCP.
SCP-682. Completely dangerously and has completely entrapped you without even meeting.
You stared at the screens connected to cameras that were layed out in the containment chamber. He was still recovering from the recent acid immersion.
You sighed, knowing they'd never even let you speak to the creature.
"What I'd give to even speak to him." You whispered with a chuckle to yourself, hopeless. It was near impossible, to achieve from your high-ups.
So you just took the time to observe him, while taking notes on your clipboard of any difference in behavior.
"Everything alright here, Doctor (L/n)?"
"Yes, no signs of him wanting to start a breach." You reply, not taking your eyes off the screen.
"I really don't understand why you refer to it as 'he'." He says, glancing at your note that you held out to him.
"Because, it was proven that SCP-682 is male. Doesn't matter if he is a class keter "monster" (as you all put it), it is simply his sex." You reply, eyes watching as the SCP walks around the cell, sniffing the air. His head turned up to stare at the camera, meeting your gaze through the screen.
How smart are you...? You wonder with a growing smile, as though he could truly see you through the camera.
The snap of your co-worker's fingers brought you back.
An eyebrow on his face raised, "you done staring at it?"
You wanted to correct him, but nodded, he rolled his eyes and took a seat at the desk.
Your morning continued with the surveillance and studying of 682. Taking breaks for a snack or cup of tea, as well as your lunch break.
Unlike most of the other workers, you rather keep to yourself during your breaks, rereading and examining notes of your assigned SCP.
It was during a quick trip to the bathroom when everything turned towards a disaster.
Alarms blared in your ears, startling you as you washed your hands. Eyes wide as warnings were spoken through the speakers.
You rushed out of the bathroom, wiping your hands on your coat. Panic settled into your body as the lights flickered before it was left dim.
A containment breach.
Something that wasn't rare yet not common either.
But in this site... you were near terrified.
Your heart raced as you ran down the narrow halls. Everything already seemed deserted, you barely saw any sigh of your co-workers.
Your blood ran cold as you entered another hallway, hearing the faint sounds of crunches ahead on the other side of the door.
You could always go back, though you knew the other way wouldn't lead to an exit.
Perhaps if you were quiet enough you could sneak past whatever awaited on the other side?
It was a very large risk, a containment breach meant several SCP's are able to escape their cells.
You knew the SCP on the other side of the wall was not under a Safe class.
"You're an idiot," you mumble to yourself as you press the button to open the door. Pressing your back to the wall next to the door and peered on the other side.
A gasp almost - almost - left your lips, your eyes widening once more as you gazed upon none other than SCP-682. Consuming the body of a facility guard.
Blood was splattered and pooled everywhere, the smell filling your senses.
Your stomach dropped when the SCP's head turned to you. You cursed under your breath, of course, 682 was intelligent, not to mention it's heightened senses.
As breathtaking as it was to speak to him, you had no doubt you'd probably end up dead by his hands - er - jaws.
A grumble left his throat, advancing towards you with slow steps, you watched as small parts of his body was still regenerating from the acid.
You stood your ground, a foolish move, but perhaps you could make a deal. Even if it was just to live a little longer.
He stopped right infront of you, head tilting to you. "Doctor..."
"682..." you respond in an acknowledging tone. "There would be something you need?" You ask, choosing your words carefully. One wrong word could enrage him, ending in your demise.
"The computer..." He mutters, his tail waving back and forth dangerously. "I must speak with the computer."
"079..." You whisper, nodding your head slowly. "I... I can escort you there, and give you access to it."
His eyes stared at you for a moment, "then do so..."
Your eyebrows raised, making your mood a little brighter. "Very well, follow me." You stood straighter, brushing past him as he moved to give you space.
You lead the way, going through halls. You both stood infront of an elevator, taking a glance at 682 you pressed the button.
You tensed up when he approached closer to you, sniffing your form.
"May I ask what you are doing?" You nearly sputter.
"Curious..."
You stared ahead as the door to the elevator opened. A gasp left your lips when met with the barrel of a gun.
The two gaurds were also taken off-guard, almost pulling the trigger of their weapons. Until they saw SCP-682 behind you.
"Get down!"
Their voice made you jump back, and 682 snarled loudly, echoing through the hall. He nudged you back, out of the way before lunging at the guard with open jaws.
You backed away, turning your head to avoid looking at the gory scene. You flinched when you felt something splatter against your cheek, knowing exactly what the substance was.
The sounds if muscles being ripped and bones crushed along with screams echoed through the hallway, until it fell silent.
You shudder, glancing at the mutilated bodies with instant regret. A gag left your lips and your fingers went to block your nose.
"We will continue." You nod, watching as SCP-682 dragged the bodies out of the elevator, a trial of blood in their wake.
Yes, you were beyond terrified for your own safety. Yet at the same time you were ecstatic to be talking to 682.
Nevertheless you were still tense, your low heels clacking with each step, as you narrowly tried to avoid stepping in blood.
The elevator was small, and creatures like 682 were not meant to be using one.
You were cramped together, holding back any flinch or movement when a limb or his tail brushed against you. He seemed not to care though, eyeing the number on the screen as it changed with each floor.
It dinged, and as soon as the doors slid open you stepped out. Letting 682 follow behind you.
With long minutes filled with silence and navigating through the long corridors, you finally found your destination.
You stood infront of the large door leading down to SCP-079.
Grabbing your keycard from you coat pocket you slid it into the scanner. The light flashed green and the doors opened with a chime.
You heard something you wouldn't from a creature set on destroying humanity. A creature you had been so obsessed with learning.
"You have my thanks, curious doctor..." It grumbled out, walking into the room, to converse with 079 like you had read in his files.
You were left breathless, watching from afar as they spoke. Before sitting against the wall by the door, waiting for everything to get under control.
You had a feeling you'd be alright.
