---Cross' POV----

"H-He's gonna kill us..." Chara mumbled to himself, curling up in a corner as he muttered the same words over and over again. "H-He's gonna torture us Cross...h-he's gonna kill us!"

"Not helping Chara!" I hissed, hugging myself tighter as I shivered horribly. All the thoughts of what X could do to us were running through my mind. And every single one involved torture.

X isn't about to let me get away with running away and betraying him. Oh no. He'll do everything he can to make sure I know the consequences of what will happen to me if I attempt to run away from him again. He'll make sure that even considering to run away would send me into a panic over the fear of what he'd do to me if he catches me. When he catches me.

"Wh-Why isn't Nightmare here yet?!" Chara hissed, looking over at me. "You'd think he'd run all the way over here to save you judging by how obsessed he is over you!"

"Oh shut it Chara." I growled. "You and I both know he's not stupid. And only an idiot would come in here all alone. I guarantee the others won't give a shit about my disappearance. Geno and Reaper both detest me. Killer and Dust never really got to know me, Horror and Lust definitely wouldn't risk their lives for me, and Ink and Error clearly don't care because they fucking handed me over! Don't you get it?! Nightmare is the only one that will come to help us! And he's got to think about our kids as well! So stop being so fucking selfish!"

Chara flinched, looking away quickly. "You're right...sorry...I-I just...X is gonna kill us..."

"I know..." I mumbled. "I'm terrified...but there's nothing we can do..."

Chara nodded, shivering. "I-I bet he's on his way over right now as we s-speak..."

No sooner than those words had left his mouth, footsteps rang out in the distance. And they were coming towards us. Fast.

I immediately backed up as far as I could into the corner of the room furthest away from the door.

Chara did the same, growling lowly as he stared at the door.

Soft muttering was heard outside, followed by the sound of a password being typed into a keypad, the sound of a verifying hand scanner, and the clang of a key being inserted into a lock. My old cell only had a code, not all this other more advanced stuff. X is taking thinks seriously now.

Both of us stiffened as the door swung open, gulping in fear as we took in X's silhouetted form.

"Hello, sons~"

"Hi, monster." Chara spat, glaring at him.

X glared at him sharply before bringing his hands out from behind his back and in front of him. "Oh Chara, what did I say to Cross about respecting me as your father."

We both froze at the sight of what was in his hands. There were two injection needles. One filled with a red substance, and the other one a semi-transparent white. Along with that, he held a knife, its blade jagged and ridged.

"Wh-What are those f-for...?" I stuttered, not actually wanting to know the answer.

X grinned widely, glancing at Chara before starting to walk towards me. "I'm glad you asked that, Crossy~"

"Don't call me that!" I hissed, trying to back up further in my corner.

He ignored me completely, stepping forwards until he was right in front of me. "I've decided to do you a favour~"

"A-A favour?"

He nodded, crouching down in front of me, a hand still holding the injector with red liquid brushing over my face lightly. "A favour~"

I tensed up, closing my eyes tightly as I waited for him to move his hand away. "W-Well I don't want your favour..."

He chuckled, moving his hand to cup my cheek gently, just like Nightmare does.

I flinched, pushing his hand away as I opened my eyes, glaring up at him. "Stop touching me you creep!"

X sighed, sitting down in front of me. "I wish you'd love me like you love that octopus..."

I hissed, barking a laugh. "Oh dear, let me tell you this, Dad. Even if you suddenly turned nice, suddenly loved me as a father is supposed to, actually started praising me for once in my life, I still wouldn't love you as much as I love him! He's done everything for me! And you've done nothing but torture me and tell me how much of a mistake I am!"

X narrowed his eyes. "I'd like to know where you learned that attitude Cross." He glanced over at Chara, smirking. "Was if you, Chara~?"

Chara shook his head quickly, not knowing whether that was a good question to answer with yes.

"I think it was~" X purred, looking back over at me. "And that's exactly why I'm about to do it this favour for you~"

Suddenly magic pinned my wrists above my head, keeping me restrained. The same happened to my ankles, those being pinned to the floor.

I immediately started thrashing, panic welling up inside of me quicker than I think I've ever felt before. I tried to kick X with no success, my eyes widening with fear as I saw him prep the injectors, clearly planning on using them.

"Now then, Cross~" X said, grinning up at me. "How would you feel if I got rid of Chara for you~?"

Immediately at those words Chara panicked and I shook my head, struggling more. "J-Just let us go!"

X chuckled, stroking my cheek lightly. "I'm going to rid you from him~ Now summon your soul before I have to do it forcefully."

I immediately froze at those words, thinking of my unborn child's soul that was still developing next to mine.

All I need is one child...

Full on panic mode hit me and I fought against the magic as best as I could, tears already starting to stream down my face. "P-Please...n-no! A-Anything but this!"

X growled, holding his hand out in front of my chest before forcing me to summon my soul.

I whimpered, shaking my head desperately as I saw his eyes widen, the sight of the extra baby soul shocking him.

"Oh my~ I've just hit a gold mine~"

"N-No! D-Don't touch it!" I yelled desperately.

X looked up at me and paused for a bit, smirking. "Don't worry Crossy~ I'll let it develop a bit more before I do anything to it~"

I flinched, terrified.

"Well then, where was I? Oh yes." He picked up the injector full of red liquid and hummed, positioning it over the red half of my soul. Chara's half.

"DON'T YOU DARE!" Chara yelled.

X ignored him, plunging it deep in before injecting the liquid.

I flinched in pain, whereas Chara let out an ear shattering scream, falling to the floor as he clutched his chest, thrashing.

X watched in delight, smirking as he caught sight of my horrified expression. "That'll be you soon~"

I made one last attempt to escape, thrashing and jerking as he brought up the injector with the white liquid in. At this point I was too terrified to talk, any words I wanted to make simply being crushed in my throat before I could attempt to force them out.

X wasted no time plunging his injector into the other half of my soul, immediately injecting the liquid as soon as it pierced through my soul's fragile outer layer.

I immediately let out a scream of pure agony, my whole body feeling like it had been set on fire. I thrashed, screaming and crying, my vision quickly being blurred by tears.

X then brought out the knife and held it over my soul, smirking.

Through the pain, my eyes widened as I saw that the two different soul halves seemed to be separating, the injections handing some sort of negative magnet effect.

X brought the knife down suddenly, slicing clearly through my soul, which earned two agonised screams from Chara and I.

I watched in horror as the two halves split apart.

X laughed, flicking the red half over to the faint ghost form of Chara. It flew over to him and slammed into his chest, entering his body.

As soon as that happened Chara glitched out, his body fizzing and jerking. And then suddenly he went limp, his outline slowly solidifying as his body started becoming solid.

The magic around me disappeared suddenly and I collapsed to the floor, my head thumping harshly against the hard ground as black clouds filled my vision.

X walked back to the door, chuckling darkly. "Lets hope this will make things easier~ Sweet dreams you two~"
