I went after (Y/N) she's such a troublesome wife at times, I knew I shouldn't have let her take this job. I sighed as I continued on to the street.

As I took the first corner and headed down that direction I noticed a small litter of kittens by a light pole huddled together and without a parent. Until I noticed that upon the road remains of what was once a cat of the same colours of the kittens in front me had been spread about messily.
