- Cross's p.o.v -

I took a step back, my eyes widened in fear. "CHARA!" I screamed as I noticed Chara lying on their side, blood was dripping from their mouths. I was about to run up to them til' I felt something wrap around my leg and pulled me down. I hissed and then I quickly noticed black goo on my leg. I looked through my pocket, grabbing a pocket knife and slicing the black goo. It went through, but luckily it must have affected this creepy monster. It loosened and I jumped right out and picked up Chara as I ran upstairs.

"S*it" I heard the monster mumble as I went into my room. I grabbed my phone and quickly started texting Dream and Blueberry

Me: BLUE! DREAM! I NEED YOUR HELP!

There was no reply... what time is it?! I looked over to the cloak, 1:32 AM

No wonder why Chara was hungry... WAIT! There's a freakin murderer in the house! I have to call 911...

I quickly dialed 911 but before the person could answer, a black tentacle snatched the phone out of my hand and broke it. My eyes widened in fear and I quickly picked up Chara, Grabbing the large case that was underneath my bed. I then opened the window, a tentacle stabbed my shoulder and I screamed. 

I looked back with a glare at the monster, the monster had a nasty smirk on his face as well as four tentacles coming out from his back. The tentacle that pierced my shoulder then threw me to the wall. I used my body to shield Chara from getting hurt but then I heard a loud crack on my back. Blood shotted out of my mouth, I coughed a bit and looked up to see the monster. He kneeled down and grabbed my chin, but then I bit his hand. Goo got into my mouth, it was disgusting.

I then decided it was time to use it...

I silently was opening the case as the black monster full of goo was right in front of me. One of the tentacles grabbed Chara and I growled "Let them Go" I said in a low voice, trying to intimidate the black monster. 

"Why Should I?"

I grinned, hearing a small click.

"Because if you don't, i'll kill you"

I then got out a huge sword which was in the case, slashing it at the black monster. The black monster dodged it easily, an insane smile planted on his face. I then sliced the tentacle that held Chara and grabbed them, my shoulder ached and stung as I darted for the opened window. I looked back to see the black monster stand there, almost as if he was planning something...

I jumped out the window with my sword and Chara, going on roofs of my neighbor. I jumped from roof to roof, trying to reach Dream's place. Tears pricked my eyes as I continued running and jumping. That's when I felt something squirm in my arms.

"C-Cross...?"

I looked down and stopped, I then hugged Chara, crying. 

"Cross... M-My chest- s-something stabbed. It hurts..."

I nodded "We'll be safe. I promise" I mumbled as I continued running and jumping too Dream's house. I stopped and then got sneaked into Dream's house. Yeah, I know, that's stupid, but it was his fault for always leaving the back window open. I entered, quickly closing the window and putting Chara on Dream's bed. I then quickly went outside to Dream's living room to see Dream and Blueberry and someone else?

"My brother is nearby, we should probably get ready to attack Blue"

"How about the sleepover?"

"Cross will be safe... I hope... Besides, Nightmare doesn't remember Cross, neither does Cross"

I stood still, listening (stalking) them as they started talking.

Then a familiar voice came in "Dream, Blue, as the Star Sanses, when will we tell Cross?"

"We might have to lie again..." I could hear Blue say.

"Ink, I don't even know if we could tell Cross... ever..." Dream's voice spoke up. 

My eyes widened, they're hiding something...

"Darn it! We can't let Cross stay in this au for too long." Ink exclaimed

"Shhh, Ink, Calm down, We can possibly make him lose his memory again. It worked the last few times we switched him to another au.

"I know but... we need to need to keep an eye on him, do you not know that we can't always keep an eye on Cross. And since Nightmare's crew is in this au attacking innocent people just to find us-" Ink was cut off by a large crack.

He looked up at where I was, my eyes glaring at all of them. "So... I guess it's okay to be hiding something from me?"

They looked at me as if something was wrong "C-Cross... you shouldn't be here this late at nigh-" Dream stuttered.

"Cut the chit chat and tell me what the hell i'm missing" I growled. 

They all looked guilty, Blueberry stayed Silent, Ink looked away, Dream looked up at me, trying to keep a straight face "We were trying to protect you!" he said.

Then, Dream noticed my injured shoulder "Cross! Your shoulder!"

I looked over to my penetrated shoulder, my eyes narrowed slightly. I didn't feel it because my thought of keeping Chara safe was my top priority.

"I don't care about my shoulder! Just tell me what the hell you all have been keeping from me-" Before I could finish something knocked me out from behind.

"INK?! WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!" I heard Blueberry's voice as I fell down onto the floor.

"Dream... We're gonna need to erase his memory again but not too much. Just-" Before I could hear Ink's last sentences. I had passed out from too much blood loss and pain.
